Our small country house with a very large garden is surrounded by woods and fields. Unfortunately, a wind turbine has recently been erected behind the woods. However, you can position yourself so that you don’t see it.

Here you’ll find a beautiful, secluded spot just for you.

Idyllic hiking and biking trails are right nearby, such as the Way of St. James, the Emsauenweg, and many others.

The Ems River, perfect for paddling, is just 500 meters away. Two outdoor swimming pools and the wonderful Feldmarksee in Sassenberg are 5 km from us.

In the Teutoburg Forest, which you can reach as early as Bad Iburg, hiking and mountain biking are the order of the day. The beautiful, picturesque old town of Warendorf, with its many shops, is just 5 km away. There you’ll also find a train station, numerous shopping opportunities perfect for strolling, as well as restaurants and pubs. Münster, Bielefeld, and Osnabrück are also worth a visit.
