We had a wonderful time at Peter’s place. He’s a really friendly host. The location is very quiet and about a 20-minute walk—even with a dog—from downtown. We were traveling with an older Caddy Maxi and an older Hobby 495. When pulling in, we lowered the trailer to gate height and maneuvered it in, since otherwise the rear cranks would have gotten stuck. Driving out, on the other hand, was nice and relaxed with the trailer hitched. We give this spot a full 5 stars.
The perfect spot for sightseeing. It doesn't get any better or friendlier than this.
The staff were very friendly, and it was a lovely, quiet campsite surrounded by nature. If you’re coming from the “wrong” direction, the campsite can be a bit tricky to find. If we ever visit Quedlinburg again, we’d definitely love to book this campsite again.
Great spot with a very nice host! Quiet, yet only about a 15-minute walk to downtown. Easy access even with a 6-meter camper van. We highly recommend it, and many thanks to Peter!
Conveniently located near town. A wonderful outdoor shower and a composting toilet with a view of the garden. Upon request, there’s a sauna in a converted construction trailer. Not exactly cheap, but simply lovely.
