Very nice and friendly hosts. Great reception with information catalog around Bad Wurzach , we had not gotten anything like that anywhere. Lots of nature and peace , just what we were looking for . Will definitely be back. Thank you for the great time out.

Very nice pitch surrounded by fields and forest. Lots of space and a huge meadow where we and our dog were allowed to spread out. Very pleasant contact with the hosts who were always available, but we hardly saw them due to the extensive grounds. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the place without reservation!

We were surprised. The place is very quiet, especially at night. The hosts are very friendly. Everything surrounded by nature. We would love to come back.
We were warmly welcomed with our three dogs. Nice fireplace, nice wood ;) Great arranged snack basket. Because of the fireplace we stood quite close to the road, further back in the yard certainly a little quieter. Nice walks in the adjacent forest possible. Caro and Andi made us feel completely at home!
We were warmly welcomed by Caro and immediately felt at home on her pitch. It is pleasantly quiet there, with the occasional car/motorcycle passing by. The plot is very large and an adjacent pond is home to many water birds. You should definitely have wheel chocks with you. We would love to come back.
Unfortunately, we were unable to make our trip to Stangel Hof. However, the communication with Caroline was very nice and we look forward to experiencing the Stangel Hof feeling at another time and meeting Caroline in person. Ellen and Christian

What can we say? Lovely and completely uncomplicated, always ready to help but unobtrusive. On the next trip to the area we hope that with Caro and Andi again a place is free! The yard cat was always busy, had little time for us, but was still a pleasant contemporary :-) Somewhere on the area you can definitely find a flat place, with wedges and air spring we were a bit more flexible. The area is generally very charming with many excursion possibilities, the place itself also offers a beautiful view. We slept very well. Conclusion: highly recommended !

If you don't need much and like to be a bit off the beaten track, this is the place for you! We have spent two with dog three nights on the farm of Caro and Andy, who had very good tips for the surrounding area ready. We can recommend their Brotzeitkorb and a visit to the Wurzacher Ried. You stand alone with the camper on the other side of the farm and gets except from nature not much. Clear recommendation :-)

The stay with Caro and Andy was so nice! Both are very hospitable and helpful. You can come to them at any time with questions. The location of the pitch is really great - all alone on a large plot directly on meadow, pond and forest. And wonderfully quiet! We are very happy to come back!

A really good single pitch... You stand on paved ground, but still absolutely rural and close to nature. The equipment is really practical (fireplace with seating and the power cable is also ready) and very nice (table and two chairs in the light shade with a far view). The hosts are warm and straightforward - good communication, even in advance. Local and national hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of the site. We felt very comfortable!

In the middle of nature at the old wooden shed between birdsong and pond. The owners are very very nice and helpful. The bread basket is highly recommended. Bad Wurzach with moorland, thermal spa and nice localities is very close! There is also a lot on offer for those interested in birds. Evening sitting by the fire with farm dog and cat 🤩!
Super communication although the two were on vacation they have made a heartfelt effort. From start to finish everything tip top super friendly. Place was very nice. Forest was great to walk despite wheelchair...Only the mountain up ;)puhhh exhausting.... All in all we will be back... Thank you for the beautiful time
A very nice and quiet place. Very simple place with the possibility to make a fire. Also the communication with the landlords was very cordial. We will be happy to come back :)
We had a huge plot of meadow and gravelled space available. We then placed ourselves at the edge of the meadow with a view in the direction of the evening sun. We were very sympathetically received and we were immediately provided fresh water and chocks. That is to say we are fully enthusiastic and will be happy to come back.
We slept with them on the farm while passing through. We arrived in the dark and quickly got back on track tomorrow. All arrangements were straightforward, the welcome very nice and the place magically quiet for a relaxing night on the trip. Thank you for this!

We spent three wonderful days at the Stangelhof. The hosts are very warm and provided us with great tips for excursions and the surrounding area. You can stand on gravel or on the meadow and enjoy beautiful sunsets when the weather is nice. We can definitely recommend the pitch and will certainly come back when we are in the area.

I spent four days and nights with my little dog at Caro, Andi and Oskar. I can hardly imagine a better place where you feel well cared for and safe but still have his absolute peace. Caro and Andi are very sympathetic, helpful and totally flexible. They have understanding for the traveler and adjust to the needs (if arrival or departure times are postponed, because you are on vacation and less concrete plan than to drift and also weather and traffic conditions are not always predictable!) Pretty great... Thanks you two!!! ;) The shady spot under the walnut tree is dreamy with views of the countryside, the chirping of crickets in the evening (otherwise you hear absolutely nothing in the evening!!!) and the life on the opposite pond, which hides behind willows and reeds. The calls of the forked harriers make it perfect. In the adjacent woods you can make beautiful walks.... It was wonderful and I will be back (possibly also in the beautiful vacation apartment in the pretty residential house). All the best for you, Stephie and Theo

What a wonderful place and friendly hosts! The pitch can be freely chosen, gravel driveway or meadow, depending on weather and personal preferences. We were all alone on a huge meadow. The fireplace and the provided wood had ensured the romantic evenings. Bad Wurzach with its many highlights is easily accessible by bike. Thank you for the wonderful days with you, we will be happy to come back!
Everything is great, very nice hosts, close to the village, very nice to shop. Nevertheless, absolutely quiet and perfect for cycling and for walks. Pitch with views of the countryside, great sunset. Gladly again 👍

Warm welcome from the host. Very competent, as campers are also rented there. Very charming place in great ambience. For fans of open fire a must. The chicken eggs are super tasty :) Will be very happy to come back!
Very nice landlords, extensive information about the region received on arrival. Even at Easter we got a small Easter nest placed in front of the door. Many thanks for that again. :-) We have recovered very well, felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you for everything...
Caro is nice and communicative. The place is gravelled and rather an access road to the barn. In summer, this is certainly better, as a nice meadow adjoins and there is a view of a pond. Great if you want to let a dog jump sometimes. There is a barbecue area and electricity. In the winter time not quite optimal. Positive is also that it is very quiet.

We were at the end of September for five nights on this pitch. The owners are very nice, the view over the fields great and especially the sunsets beautiful. We had a great stay and will be happy to come back.

Our stay was very idyllic in spite of rain in a solitary location in pure nature and tranquility.
Our rating is still the same - we booked twice and then left with a heavy heart. But we will come again. Oh yes, we still have an employment tip for all those who are not busy despite all the leisure opportunities: Whoever manages to get Oskar "flat" with the ball will be awarded the Allgäu Hunting Dog Oscar and will certainly have a great night's sleep afterwards. Yes how was it or is it still - just beautiful. Our three hosts are super nice, uncomplicated and very helpful (also a lot of high-quality information material about the area, excursions and very good suggestions if you ever want to go to a restaurant - proactive). The place is great located with a lot of peace and quiet, moreover, you are also still alone. Beautiful view and at the same time located on the edge of the forest. Bad Wurzach etc. is all very easy to reach and who has the bikes with him, a stone's throw. Even the chemical toilet can be disposed of by bicycle in Bad Wurzach if necessary. There are incredibly great bike tours here and you can also hike very well. In the immediate vicinity there is a forest lake for swimming. The clean air is the dream. We could go on forever like this......kurzum, we are here 1.5 weeks, have not moved our Bulli a millimeter and have a really good time. We will surely come back many times, luckily we have only 2 h driving time to this beautiful spot with its great hosts. Thank you :))))).
