Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this guest to others and expressly warn other hosts against him. Here is the reason: The guest canceled his stay with us at short notice on the day of arrival at around 5 p.m. with the reason that he was ill and could not arrive ("Hi, unfortunately I have to cancel due to illness. I waited until this evening, but unfortunately my cold has not improved. VG J."). However, as we had kept the pitch free for him and had turned down two other requests, it was unfortunately no longer possible to cancel free of charge at this point. The fact is, we never saw him at our place. He never contacted us by phone, on site or via app to say that he had arrived. He then gave us a really unfair and misleading review, as he probably wanted to take revenge for the fact that we didn't cancel his booking. His statements about the site, the surrounding area or the access road are not correct and therefore cannot be based on his own experience. We attach great importance to honest communication, hospitality and a well-kept environment, which is also reflected in the other reviews here and on other platforms. We welcome any feedback from guests who have actually stayed with us. However, it was not him.
