Hi, We are Jana & Dirk. We love to be on the road with our everyday getaway car Leo and enjoy our time together. We like to be outdoors, love to cook and absolutely love going to concerts, preferably anything that rocks :-) Apart from that, we are fun-loving, animal-loving and washable at 40°C 🤪

This is a really, really great little spot! Absolutely idyllic and perfect for unwinding! The highlight for us was the direct access to the water! It was very warm, and cooling off in the Werra was the icing on the cake of our all-around pleasant stay. Jana and her partner are two pleasant, helpful, and accommodating hosts. Whether it was helpful tips beforehand, friendly communication, or their willingness to help in the middle of the night—(during a thunderstorm at 3:30 a.m., they checked in on us and offered help if needed)—great place, great hosts! We had a wonderful time at the campground on the Werra; we saw beavers, a family of ducks, and other animals. Jana and Dirk are very kind hosts and gave us a warm welcome.

We were the second time at the idyllic Werraufer and have again enjoyed it very much. The beautifully located site will please nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts alike. This time we had our SUP with us. It is wonderful to paddle along the Werra. The hosts are super nice, communication was uncomplicated and possible at any time. We will be happy to come again.
Even though we unfortunately could not travel, we had such good communication with Jana that we look forward to when we can make up for our visit. Dear Jana, all the best Sylvia
Hello dear ones, you have a beautiful place that is absolutely recommended! If it had been warmer we would have brought our kayak, but in September....would have been very fresh. Very friendly, accommodating hosts. A beautiful place right on the water. Nature within reach, just nice to relax and unwind. You can hear the car traffic, but you can hear over it when you sit on the banks of the Werra. I can only recommend.

We had a super time with our hosts. The place is beautiful with its direct access to the river. However, currents and wind were not to be underestimated in mid-May.

My friend , our two dogs and I spent a day +night at Jana. The stay has pleased us very well. The place is nice and quiet. What we particularly liked is that you are right on the water - which our dogs also found super. Here you are alone and can well dangle the soul. Many thanks again to our dear hosts for the very friendly welcome and the information and tips regarding hiking routes. We will be happy to come back again !

Splendidly idyllic. We were all to ourselves directly on the fairy-tale Werra. The small SUP tour started at our own jetty. Swimming in the river...beautiful. With dog also quite perfect. Directly opposite is the forest which still invited to hike. The hostess Jana is very sympathetic! We will be back, next time we will also be fishing! THANKS.
A beautiful site on the banks of the Werra, surrounded by trees and ... ah, just dreamlike. We have enjoyed the time very much and felt very comfortable. Even our Labrador was thrilled by the direct access to the Werra and the felt endless meadows stretching to the side of the river on the other side of the bridge of freedom. The place is a dream, whether for fishing trip as with us or explore area. There are really big chunks in the Werra. Jana and Dirk are a very nice couple, I can only recommend it to everyone. Lg

The approach to the pitch is uncomplicated but definitely better with 4x4. The super nice Jana was always available for questions and tips! The location directly on the Werra is really nice, because on foot you can just go shopping or who likes to experience some culture. At the same time you are in 5 minutes on a mountain with a wonderful view and can just walk in peace. We have hardly noticed the main road (on weekends). Definitely recommendable!

This place was exactly what we were looking for 😍 directly on the banks of the Werra surrounded by trees🌳🌿, in short - just in the middle of nature and that even all alone, a completely private pitch ☀️🥰 Netto and Rewe within walking distance, great walks on which you pass cute restaurants. Jana and her family are more than eager and helpful so that their guests lack nothing! Barbecue, table and chairs are available and may be used and who wants has directly on site also the possibility to look a bit into the German history. We are all around simply satisfied with our stay here! Thank you very much 🥰
Beautiful pitch in the middle of greenery directly on the Werra. Super nice, uncomplicated and helpful hosts. From the site you can observe many animals in and around the water and is very close to the German history. From here you can go on a canoe tour (the exit is almost opposite the site) or explore the Wartburg region. We felt mega comfortable here and come back very gladly, the nöchste time but we will certainly come for more than just three days.

Very nice guests. The two have held out very bravely in really modest weather. I wish you in any case a nice vacation in better weather maybe we see each other again and then with some sun. 😁
