  An absolute paradise for nature and animal lovers! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​We spent a wonderful night here in a tent and would have loved to stay longer! The campsite on the meadow is incredibly idyllic and romantic. You camp right in the middle of nature, surrounded by super-friendly sheep that wander leisurely across the meadow. In addition to the sheep, there are pot-bellied pigs, lively chickens, and sweet dogs—a real highlight for anyone who loves animals! ​The hosts are incredibly warm and accommodating. A very special thank you goes to the farm’s grandma: She not only provided us with drinks but even brought us fresh coffee in the morning—what fantastic hospitality! ​The amenities are top-notch, too: In addition to the great shower in the vacation rental’s bathroom, there’s also a composting toilet right out in the meadow. Both in the bathroom and by the composting toilet, there are baskets filled with thoughtfully provided toiletries (feminine hygiene products, deodorant for him and her, cotton swabs, etc.)—everything is arranged with an incredible attention to detail. ​Even though it was only a short stay, we felt completely at home. We’ll definitely be back—but next time, for much longer!

  This was our first experience with Hinterland and we are very happy with it. We had to find a place very fast on our way home to Sweden and Vivian replied immediately and it was also no problem to arrive late. When we woke up the day after we could see the whole beuty of the place and say hi to Vivian and all the animals. I highly recommend this host and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

  We had a peaceful and beautiful night by the pond. We couldn’t hear the road at all, and in the morning we could see the horses in the paddock across the orchard. ✨ A truly lovely and idyllic private campsite—we felt very comfortable there and would love to come back!

  We’d been hoping for a weekend in nature, and at Vivian and her family’s farm, we got so much more. The farm is tucked away from any road noise and is home to lots of animals—we were even allowed to stand right in a meadow with them. Going to bed with the sheep at night and drinking coffee with the runner ducks in the morning is something truly special for any animal lover. This farm is being lovingly transformed into a very special oasis close to nature, and Vivian and her husband, in particular, are such lovely, warm-hearted people that we’ll be delighted to come back soon.

  Unfortunately, we didn't make it to Vivian's pitch as planned due to a traffic jam and a full road closure. We would still book again and again, as the communication with Vivian was super friendly and uncomplicated. Hopefully there will be another opportunity for a stop between your sheep! :)

  The description is to be taken literally: you're standing in a paddock with sheep, very exciting! There are also funny chickens and runner ducks to see! We had a very quiet night in the roof tent and would come back any time! Vivian is a great hostess!
