The location is very idyllic. We were there at the end of January 2026 with snow and sub-zero temperatures in our camper van and under a tarp. It's fantastic. Silke was super friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.
Very nice place and the lake right next door! We were the only people in the area at the time, which really enhanced the feeling of being alone.

On a scale of 1-10 I give it 20 Such a wonderful, idyllic, secluded spot - or rather there are several spots. Pure privacy. It's actually not just a private jetty but a private lake. I had it to myself during the week. At the weekend I shared it with about 4 sailors / surfers ;) Make sure you bring a SUP (stand up paddleboard) with you. Otherwise there is also a boat. Great friendly and flexible hostess. I will definitely be back :) a dream :) I've never stood so beautifully.
We felt very comfortable with two dogs in a great location by the lake. The surrounding area is perfect for walks and the nature is beautiful. It was very quiet and despite constant rain from the evening until the next morning, we had a great time in the tent. Everything was well planned in advance and the advance descriptions were very helpful. Everything was as described. We will be back and are already looking forward to it.
The property is super clean and very cozy with enough space for all kinds of activities. The neighboring properties were not occupied during our vacation, so we really had our peace and quiet there. Unfortunately, there is little shelter when it rains. Great place and a definite recommendation from me!

Super nice place by the lake. You are on your own, great hiking opportunities in the moor just around the corner. You have to pick up the key a few kilometers away. Everything went smoothly. I would love to come back.
I stayed one night at Silke's place. I had a nice and friendly phone call with her and all my questions were answered very well. The pitch itself was clean and well laid out. It only took a few seconds to get to your own pitch and enjoy the water. I will definitely be back!
We had a quiet and very nice night at Silke's pitch by the lake :) Silke described everything in detail in advance so that we found the pitch without any problems. If you are looking for a beautiful, natural and quiet place, this is the right place for you!
The communication was good and targeted, very friendly and uncomplicated! The place is really great, with a bit of luck you are completely alone or are only briefly "disturbed". The jetty is 1 minute away from the pitch, but is nicely hidden behind tall reeds. We will definitely be back!

Heavenly peace on the almost natural property - a relaxing night outside the summer vacation as the only guest on the whole area. The communication with Silke was friendly and relaxed. One small downer is the key pick-up: If you are traveling from Bremen, you pick up the key north of the lake - one way about 13 km, for pick-up and drop-off together over 50 km drive.

Silke's property is a little piece of paradise. The location, tranquillity and surroundings are great. The highlight is the small boat for the lake! As a host I can only recommend Silke! The place was as described. The key handover was without complications. Silke is extremely friendly and has good tips at hand. We thank you once again for the great stay and would love to come back!
The location of the property is beautiful, the path to the lake is not far. Unfortunately, it was heavily polluted with blue-green algae when we were there, so swimming was not possible. Nevertheless, it was so beautiful that we would come again.

I had booked the place for my husband and his buddy as a surprise and it was an absolute success. The two of them were really thrilled and thought the place, the jetty and the lake were beautiful. The place was very quiet and they were able to relax perfectly. We will definitely book the campsite again.

It was very beautiful and relaxing at Flögelner See. I was there all by myself. Depending on the weather, you can go SUPing or windsurfing and take a wonderful walk in the moor. The pitch is beautiful, quiet and well demarcated by hedges. However, you're not right on the water, there are two "gardens" in front of it. As there was only someone there to surf during the day, we took our table and stood right by the water to eat. The area is accessible. There is a campsite next to it, but it is so far away and secluded that you feel like you're on your own. Really great surroundings for cycling. Contact and communication also great. We'd love to come back.

Despite the rain, we spent a few lovely days at Silke's place. Surroundings: Ideal for cycling and hiking, with the Moorfahrde and the different route lengths there is something for everyone. Lake: It is not very deep and a moorland lake but very suitable for water sports, fishing and sunny moments. Location of the site: Very quiet even if there is a campsite next to it, the feeling of being alone in nature was there. You can quickly get to Cuxhaven City and Duhnen (beach) 20-30 km by car. Space: everything you need was there, we were traveling with a tent and bus, which was great in terms of space. The area was very clean and well maintained. The Biotolette was a comfortable change from our other pitches. Arrival/Departure/Contact It was easy, quick and uncomplicated - that's what makes camping fun. We would love to come back....

We had a quiet night by the lake, with plenty of space, our own jetty and a clean "toilet house". The site is very private, surrounded by woods and hedges. It's a bit of a shame that you can't really see the lake directly from the pitch. After the rainfall of the last few days, the meadow was really soft and damp - so it's ideal that there is a gravelled area for the camper. The communication with Silke was super uncomplicated and everything was very relaxed! Many thanks for the lovely break :)

Great place in close proximity to the lake. Uncomplicated contactless check in and check out. We foundens great, although the lake was nasty - probably because of some algae. We did not care - it was still nice and we were at the sea...😃 Absolutely recommended, also campfire no problem 🔥
The place is very beautifully situated directly in front of a lake. Everything is very quiet and if you are lucky, you are completely alone there. There are quite a few mosquitoes - so I recommend what to have :-) but there has nothing to do with the host ... so I highly recommend the spot! We had a great time.
Not only is it a really nice place to relax, but we were lucky enough to have the whole area to ourselves for the weekend. That made it even more special for us. And the handover of the keys also worked great. Only the lake was currently not usable for swimming, because the blue-green algae had spread. We still had a great time and will definitely come back again!
We spent 2 nights at Silke's property on the lake. Very nice contact, the location just beautiful. We were the only far ins wide and could just relax and fully enjoy the 2 days. Evening excursions by boat completed the idyll. We will come again! ( and yes, there are many mosquitoes on site, you just have to expect when you camp at a lake. We were equipped with spray etc. And they could keep us so mostly from the neck)
Great communication and beautiful place. Unfortunately, we had to leave the same evening (after 3 hours) because by the heavy rain was simply flooded everything so that you could not run there. There can but of course only Mother Nature something for. We would like to book it again because it is really a dream place.
Silke's place is a dream. It is quiet and very close to a large lake on which it is very good stand up paddling. Really nice, was also the private jetty, where you had very long sun in the evening. The only problem were unfortunately the many small mosquitoes that suddenly appeared at dusk and against which our autan has not helped at all. After 2 days we were so bitten that we had to shorten our stay with Silke. We were there at the end of May. Maybe there are better seasons for the place.

Wonderful to do nothing, sleep in and hang out. The lake was unfortunately a bit cloudy and overgrown during our visit, but it is also a bog lake.
We unfortunately couldn't make it due to personal reasons, but great communication and we'll make up for it.

Megatolles property almost directly on the water. I have not had so much peace and quiet for a long time, although I myself do not live in the big city. Great was that you always have somewhere shade and the mobile is also shaded. Great I actually found the dry toilet. Have had no experience with such a thing - until now. The communication with Silke was nice and understandable. Only if you do not like mosquitoes so, you should take something Autan. But I had already read that in the pre-reviews and took to be on the safe side. I will be happy to come again.

A really nice place! However, you do not stand directly on the lake, which is ok. But a lake view you actually have only when standing (if the place next door is not occupied). Otherwise, it is a really quiet place where you could listen to many birds and relax.
The place is beautiful. It is quiet here and the lake is a dream. We like to be in Scandinavia, now we do not have to drive so long. In addition, everything has worked out very uncomplicated. Thank you!
The property is very spacious and well maintained with sun and shade as needed and absolutely quiet. Since no vehicles were on the two properties in front of us towards the lake, we also had a clear view through the hedges over the lake. When picking up the key Silke gave us some good tips for maneuvering, the driveway is a bit narrow. We have felt comfortable !
What can we say, the Flögelner lake is really a dream! I can not remember to have ever had such quiet nights out in Germany - except the birds, they were already pretty good at it and woke us very early 😄 You're not right on the water, but those 40 to 50 steps would be whining at a high level ^^ Even if the fishing luck was not favored us, we will definitely come back. Thank you Silke for the really uncomplicated procedure and the beautiful place you provide here!
We were for two nights with the tent on the place of Silke. Personally, we have not met her, but in contact she was very friendly and has always responded quickly to questions. The place was very nicely located and also the sea only about 30 minutes away by car. The location was altogether a little less quiet than we had hoped, because right next to us several families with campers have camped and also a campsite is right next door. We personally found that now but not too bad. Point deduction there is only for the toilet, which could have been a little better maintained. In addition, you can unfortunately not dispose of the "legacies" on site and must take them with you.
Uncomplicated and friendly contact. A great pitch with a beautiful jetty and a rowing boat as icing on the cake. I look forward to when the Moorweg directly opposite is open again, then I will gladly come back.
We used the time at the property to set up for a round trip through Norway and get to know the car. Very friendly hosts 👍 Very nice view of the lake . We really liked the jetty protected by reeds. The visit was worth the trip.

Everything worked great with the key transfer. The contact was great and about the place you just do not have to write much. Despite heavy rain it was wonderful to spend New Year's Eve here. We like to come back. Idyll pure.

A really beautiful place! We found everything as described and spent very relaxing days at the lake. Unfortunately, the bog trail is closed, probably because it would have to be repaired. Would certainly be worthwhile, because the paths to the neighboring lakes were. We are very happy to come back.

With Silke everything was very uncomplicated: We were told where the keys for the gate and the toilet are ready and a good description of the way. So we found with our van very well the beautiful spot, nestled between forest and water. We also had our own dock at the lake and could have used a rowboat, but we did not. We got a fishing license and fished from the jetty some roach and rudd. The lake is quite shallow. The van stood nice and straight on the designated gravel strip . The toilet we also used, it was all very clean there. (... and should also be left clean by every guest.) The animals gave us a lot of pleasure! The cranes called to us from their places in the marsh and the kingfisher we could watch on a tree trunk close to the jetty. Robins in the trees, seagulls over the lake and family of great crested grebes on the water delighted us a lot. For nature lovers it is a small paradise! We had spent a very nice time on this wonderful place and had a good rest. Thank you that we were allowed to be there. L.G. v.Thomas u. Evelin.
Beautiful and quiet pitch. We spent the weekend there and got to meet Silke personally. She is very nice and friendly. The lake is super nice and at the own jetty you can relax very well or paddle out with the small boat.

We were for 3 nights on this beautiful spot. It was relaxing days with lots of fun rowing (a small boat is at the jetty) and cycling. We had no idea how beautiful and varied this stretch of land is. In any case, we would like to use Silke's offer! Thank you very much!

We are absolutely thrilled and got what we were looking for...peace, rest and relaxation. The jetty is very private and the boat invites you to row on the lake. The contact with Silke went very well and also an extension, was possible after telephone arrangement, without further ado. We will definitely come again.
We had a nice stay on an idyllic beautiful green place. The jetty is hidden in the reeds (be careful to take enough autan). Nice place to relax. Unfortunately, the second evening came two thick campers and blocked the view. Silke we have not seen, but very nice written.

When we reached the property, we could not believe it at first. This was all going to be 'ours' for the weekend? Wow. The place is really more than generous, offers enough possibilities to stay in the shade in hot weather, you are directly at the lake and can use your own jetty with boat. More simply does not go. To be able to sit in the morning with a coffee in hand completely undisturbed at the lake is definitely great. Silke also came by briefly and also explained what the 'pitfalls' of there existing bog soil are and then we also knew why it is important to stand only on the part with gravel. We definitely come again, because such a beautiful spot you can visit more often.

Silke's place is really beautifully located directly on the lake. You can enjoy the sun from morning to night on your own jetty. Really great. Paddling on the lake is highly recommended. Sailing and windsurfing is definitely possible with wind. The communication with Silke was fast and good. One stands like on a site with different places. A mixture of camping and allotment 😊but private and with larger plots and not all are occupied. Only two "camping plots" are in front of the site. We were lucky and the first day free view of the lake, then there was unfortunately a giant Morello motorhome. The other campers (locals) are but all very nice. The grill / fireplace is great to end the evening and help to drive away the mini mosquitoes at dusk. Autan with pack! We had a nice two days, can highly recommend the place and come gladly.

Beautiful, well-kept, idyllic lawn framed by trees and the singing of birds. Tranquility is certain. The jetty romantic on the lake. We had just often rain and there were many black flies, which made the stay outside difficult. Surroundings very quiet, excursions to Cuxhaven, Bremerhafen, Otterndorf are also recommended. The contact to Silke was very uncomplicated and quick in answering questions.

We had a nice time at the lake site. However, this is quite boggy, so you should only stay on the short piece at the beginning of the place. The wood for the campfire on the grill tray we had brought ourselves and unfortunately still missing bags for the separation toilet. But it is a very nice quiet place nature with a stork directly as a neighbor. We will certainly like to come back again!

This place is even more beautiful than we imagined. The entire site is manageable, on the plot grow various bushes and trees, when everything is in bloom you are there just for yourself and yet the lawn still offers enough space to lie on it and put up a lean-to tent to the car. The individual design had something very loving during our visit. The fire bowl has kept us warm in the evening and the possibility with the bot on the lake rauszurdern we have used directly and super relaxed. A dream. The contact with Silke was flawless, easy, friendly. And tips to go out to eat we have also received. Thank you very much. We will definitely visit the lake near Flögeln again.
Dreamlike place earth...who needs rest, is right here. Birds chirping and the calls of the cranes, the Flögelner Lake...wonderful. And Silke is also a super hostess. We will definitely come again. Oh, and on the dog walk we actually saw a wolf twice in a row.
We unfortunately had to cancel our stay at short notice 😞 The contact was super nice us understanding. We try in any case to come over at another time.
We as nature-hungry city dwellers have felt very comfortable and could easily become a repeat offender. Now in October, we had the lake almost to ourselves, since the neighbors on the adjacent recreational properties have hardly let themselves be seen. Rubber boots or closed rubber clogs belong but absolutely in the luggage, because the property is located on the bog. The dry separation toilet works super well and is preferable to any chemical toilet and actually even more pleasant than a toilet on the campsite, because you have it all to yourself and has his privacy on the quiet little toilet.
It was a super nice short vacation on a great, well-kept spot. We had a very nice contact with the hostess Silke. We were able to really switch off from everyday life. We could fish from our own jetty and enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evening with a glass of wine. Fantastic! We will definitely come again.
A dreamlike place! Very well maintained and beautiful location with its own jetty directly on the lake. In addition, everything you need is there: Grill, fire bowl, paddle boat and even a separation toilet (for self-cleaning!). We are completely satisfied and also had a super nice contact with Silke!
