We spent a wonderful night in a sleeper car at Iris’s place between two long days of driving, and it was a great stopover for us and our kids. Iris gave us a warm welcome and showed us around her farm, her donkeys, and her runner ducks. We spent the evening at a nearby adventure playground and a restaurant in the next town. When a minor emergency came up, Iris was even there to help us out with advice and practical support. The next morning, we were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the “Eselstube” before (unfortunately) continuing on our way. We’d love to come back again someday.
My 3 girls (12, 10 and 6) and I had a great time with Iris, especially when we were allowed to give her a hand. A paradise for my children. Iris has the farm under control and manages it all on her own. Very impressive. We slept in the caravan. Very basic, but totally ok for the price.
