It’s a uniquely spacious campsite with plenty of charm, lots to explore, and great potential for events. Meeting Günter and Tilo (a St. Bernard) was a pleasant and enriching experience. It was a pleasure to get to know them both. We arrived after dark, but despite our late arrival, we were given a tour and allowed to choose a spot. In the morning, we looked around: I love pine trees, and a beautiful old pine stands guard over a building that houses a small photo exhibition on the history of the paper mill. Behind every open door, there is something to discover.

Günter was very relaxed and uncomplicated. We were able to visit the whole old factory and Günter answered all our questions. We would love to come back.

Günter is, as already described several times, a very friendly host. The site is exciting, the sanitary facilities are adequate and lovingly old-fashioned in keeping with the concept. The only thing we didn't like about the site was our dog, a Bernese mountain dog running loose - it was quite tense for us, even though Günter kept his big dog on a lead for us. We would definitely recommend Günter and the site to people without dogs/male dogs!
A great place with wonderful opportunities to explore. The art exhibition, the old walls, lounges, sanitary facilities, simply everything is great. We will be back!

Very warm welcome, the pitch was on a meadow directly on a canal of the Elde. With everything a camper's heart desires. Shower, toilets, electricity and, above all, friendly contact with other campers - everything was available. The whole project that Günter has put on his shoulders is impressive and I take my hat off to so much commitment. It is worth supporting and visiting this camping site alone. Anyone who doesn't mind a little goose droppings should take a look at this pitch. Canoeing and swimming are also possible here. So I will be back. Greetings Stephan

A wonderful experience to spend the night at the old paper mill. Great ambience, very nice people and animals. Be sure to ask Günter for a short guided tour and take your camera - it's worth it!
An insanely great and incredibly exciting location and a friendly host with a fantastic vision who has an incredible amount to say. Perhaps interesting: - There is a farm dog that roams freely on the premises, the one and only T(h)ilo - There is everything you could possibly need and much more. But if you need luxury, you will search in vain - There are always events We were there for the second time and I really hope it won't be the last time. Günter, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful piece of land with us! It was a feast for us!
A very special place at the old abandoned factory. A place with a very special charm. Absolutely quiet. Also ideal for cyclists, as you are right on the Elbe cycle path.

Günter is a very friendly and helpful host, even to children! The factory is a fantastic place. Despite the constant rain, we had a very nice few days. We would love to come back and are looking forward to seeing how the site changes by then.

Dear Günter We felt very comfortable as repeat offenders. Toilet situation optimized and many thanks for the help with the,,slip building" to let our dinghy with motor into the water. The kids thought the new roommates were great - chickens and geese and we felt so comfortable that we booked an extra night. It's also amazing what you've already achieved since May.... It's a magical place, the pitch is very quiet, showers and toilets are great. The paper mill has lots of corners that make wonderful photo opportunities. Günter is a great host, we will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

We spent a lovely Whitsun weekend at this interesting place and are absolutely thrilled. Relaxed atmosphere - absolute peace and quiet to simply switch off and leave everyday life behind. The friendly and uncomplicated operator and the good atmosphere the good atmosphere on the site - a real community atmosphere. Thank you for a fantastic weekend - we will definitely be back! 😊
We were there over the Whitsun weekend. Günter was a great host, very friendly and right on site. It was a lovely stay, everything went very smoothly, showers and toilets were right on site in the immediate vicinity of the pitch. An exceptional and exciting place to stay. We will definitely be back.
Extremely interesting location. Everything as described in the advertisement. Günther, the host, is also always helpful and friendly. There is plenty of space - we were even able to accommodate our large caravan. Our next excursions and overnight stays on the site of the old paper mill are already planned and in prospect :)

Günter is a great host who provides us with a wonderful location. The old paper mill is a very special place. It was very easy to book two more nights in addition to the three we had planned. We would love to come back.
My wife and I are "newbies" to the camping scene and this was our first trip. We couldn't have done better, an absolutely friendly host and exactly the kind of relaxed place we imagined "hinterland camping" to be. It even has water and electricity, a coin-operated shower facility and a tidy toilet block in the Kontorhaus that is accessible to guests. We will be very happy to come back!
If you're looking for a "lost place", you've come to the right place. You have to get involved, then it's incredibly exciting and interesting. Add to that the magical natural surroundings and the friendly campers, and everything was just right.
You get exactly what Günter promises in the text. A very special location! We would love to come back and see what has changed.

We spent the long weekend in May with our dog and small children at Günter's place. It was our first booking and a super exciting location. Culture, swimming, industrial charm and everyone can find peace and quiet to their taste on his huge grounds. If we were ever without kids, we would bunker the armchairs in the PIKO for ourselves ;) Showers and washing up were great and right on the pitch, toilet was only one open and therefore OK. industrial history, this is the right place! We would love to come back!

We were guests at Günter's with our T6 in April and were immediately captivated by the grounds and the atmosphere. A truly fabulous place that invites you to switch off and dream. Everything you need is available. Günter is very helpful and responds promptly. We will definitely be back.

What a special place and what friendly hosts. Although we didn't have any personal contact, they were always available even from a distance and made sure that we wanted for nothing. This place invites you to relax and explore the paper mill and the surrounding area. We will definitely be back in the summer!
