Super friendly hosts, great food, a quaint, rustic setting with that "lost place" charm—an authentically relaxed, imperfect atmosphere; that’s just how we like it. My two boys (12 & 6) found something to play with and explore in every nook and cranny, and there’s also a small playground right next door. Drinks and snacks can be purchased on a trust basis; hot meals can be ordered. Every day, Alexandra went around asking if anyone wanted bread rolls for the next morning. The only thing is that the photos in the listing make it seem like the meadow is in the middle of nowhere, but the road right next to it has very little traffic. Anyone expecting glamping here will be disappointed, but those who love nature and an authentic, wild atmosphere will find themselves in the right place. Thank you so much for sending the forgotten toiletries bag 😄 We’d love to come back.

Alex and her husband are very open, communicative, and helpful. That’s great. However, based on the description online and the photos shown, we had imagined something different. It would have been nice to have a place to wash dishes. Having heating in the duffel barn would be useful in bad weather. We had cold and wet weather; a walkway to the house with the restrooms would have been helpful. We couldn’t have gotten our small trailer out of the wet field on our own with our car. Thank you for your support and for letting us use the neighbor’s ATV. Best regards, Steffi and Hannes
We received a really nice welcome from the hosts and were given lots of tips on leisure activities during our stay. The atmosphere was super cozy. One small drawback is the adjacent road (if it bothers you). Next time we will enjoy the wonderful smelling food provided by the host.
Super nice, helpful hostess with cooking skills! Unfortunately we didn't try it ourselves because our old soup still had to be eaten, but our camper neighbors were very enthusiastic. Clean toilets, bread rolls made to order in the morning, funny bleating sheep...what more do you need for a successful break! We'll be back when we're in the area again!
We were able to enjoy a very relaxed weekend with our two Aussies. We were able to choose where to park the 7.50 m camper van on the large meadow. In the afternoon we added a van for 1 night and on Saturday we added 2 tents. There was more than enough space. The goats live in a fenced-in area on the property and were very popular with the children present. Water and electricity are available as well as clean toilets and washing facilities. No waste disposal. Bread rolls are also available to order. On Fridays, Alex got us very good quality meat and sausages for our barbecue and even brought us a salad plate - all homemade. On Saturday, Jörg conjured up super tasty schnitzel with fried potatoes for us in his outdoor kitchen. You can sit comfortably in the barn and help yourself from the fridge. Everything is on a trust basis and is settled at the end of the stay. Everything was great and friendly from the first contact. We were also given very good tips for hikes on site. If you are sensitive to noise, you should know the following: The property borders on the country road, the traffic noise of which can be heard during the day - occasionally at night. Tractors also drive, of course - farmers have to do their work. And there is a church opposite, whose bells can occasionally be heard. All in all, it was a really great weekend for us. We would like to thank you for your hospitality and wish you many lovely guests who appreciate your efforts. All the best & see you next time Alex & Hardy
Dear hosts, a cozy corner for conversations with fellow guests and hosts, and "animal" nice neighbors in the pasture. It was cozy, warm and relaxing. We have a relatively large team: Vito and Fendt 510 - but with a bit of cooperation and driving experience, the "in and out" was easy to manage. We didn't take advantage of the catering, but we felt completely at ease even without it. Thank you very much!
Unfortunately the place was not as expected... According to the description, we were expecting a large meadow in the countryside, lots of space and peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the meadow is right next to a busy thoroughfare = traffic noise day and night. The meadow itself is large, but half of it is a sheep pasture and the other half was really full! On our last evening there were 5 motorhomes, 1 tent and us. It was so full that we had to park our car in the second row. So we left early. Alexandra, the hostess, is super nice and very helpful and her schnitzels are delicious!
Very kind and caring hosts Always happy to return to this place It was a pleasure until the next time
It was totally relaxing and lovely. There are goats right next door and a delicious meal can be conjured up on request. You can go for a wonderful walk through the meadows and woods directly from the campsite. I can only recommend it :)
We loved staying with Alex and felt very comfortable thanks to her excellent hosting skills. Unfortunately, we were a little misguided in our expectations. Our picture, based on the description, was very idyllic. Without any outside views. We were wrong. The property is on a road. The trees are not as dense as we thought. For us it was the unpleasant thing about the place, as we could see the houses directly opposite and therefore they could see us. Unfortunately a small reduction in the rating. Because, We rounded off our evening with a delicious schnitzel, roast potatoes and salad. We found our breakfast table lovingly set in the morning. Coffee, fresh rolls, sausage, cheese and homemade jam. Nothing was missing. You rarely get service like this. Alex is a wonderful person and a great hostess. 10 points in the heart.
Great hosts, large outdoor area and beautiful rural location.
Large garden, very attentive hosts who look after you and provide you with culinary delights as well as tips for excursions.
Super nice, uncomplicated and open-minded hosts! We received a very warm welcome! Our children loved the sheep and goats! As the farm is fenced in, the kids can run around at their leisure. The playground is directly opposite. Even my birthday was taken care of! We would love to come back! Many thanks for everything!
Very kind and courteous hosts. Our daughter felt very comfortable right from the start. The highlight for her, apart from the great playground which was in the immediate vicinity, were the sheep. We didn't want for anything. We were treated to great food. Many thanks for the great time.
How do you do? As a family, we found your pitch very pleasant. There was enough space for all of us. We were also able to have a leisurely breakfast in the hut in the morning. The hosts are also nice.
Great hosts, very helpful and caring. The place is as described and we will definitely be back soon.
Oh, that was lovely. Very, very hospitable operators. They even helped me with a small problem with my motorcycle. Many thanks to both of them.
Super relaxed and courteous - anytime again!
We had a great time with Alexandra . Gladly again . And the food that we got brought to the Womo was top class. Thank you very much
