A really lovely, peaceful stay
We spent three nights at Stefan’s place on his meadow. Everything was just as described. The horses watched us while we had breakfast, and the Wenne River runs right past the meadow. Great hiking trails—we walked to the Esmeckerstausee with our dog. Highly recommended. Communication was quick and smooth. Thanks again.

A very nice place with a view of the horse meadow and the Wenne behind it. Stefan is super nice and the contact was very friendly and uncomplicated. There was even the possibility of an electricity connection. The site is a great starting point for hikes and the "Sauerländer Hof" hotel opposite is a great place to eat. Breakfast is even available on request. There is also a bakery just around the corner. A beautiful little swimming lake is also just 3 km away. Really great! Unfortunately, the road is relatively noisy, so the site is best suited to guests who are used to street noise. A big thank you, Stefan, for this great place and for your hospitality!

The pitch is in a very beautiful location. And an ideal starting point for hikes or. You can certainly hear the road, but that wasn't a problem for us. You are usually out and about during the day and there is relatively little traffic in the evening. The communication was very friendly. Everything worked wonderfully, thank you again. We would love to come back.

Friendly host, great communication, great place right on the river Wenne, fire bowl on request 🚐🏕️🌄🔥 Great starting point for hikes 🥾 and to stop off in the village afterwards - there are 3 top inns 😋 If you are traveling with a roof tent like us, you should have no problem going to a toilet you've brought with you & getting by without a shower 😁 You won't find absolute peace and quiet because of the main road through the village, but we felt very comfortable.
