Doris gave us a very warm welcome; the campsite was absolutely peaceful; the bathroom and kitchenette were immaculate, and everything was decorated with care. We’d love to come back.
A wonderful RV park in Oldersum that we highly recommend. The site is quiet, well-maintained, and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The bathroom is modern, very clean, and looks like it was just renovated. The hospitality deserves special mention: We were immediately offered a cable reel for electricity, and when it rained, we were allowed to store our e-bikes in the old barn of the historic building. This personal attention really makes the stay special. The location is ideal: Emden and Leer are easily accessible by e-bike, and a nearby bus line offers additional flexibility. Shopping options are available in the area, and the local bakery is highly recommended. Doris is a warm, always helpful host who makes the stay thoroughly enjoyable. We would love to come back and highly recommend this campsite.

We’d give more than 5 stars if we could. In any case, we had a wonderful stay with a fantastic host. The bathroom facilities were also outstanding—not only were they spotless, but they were also stylish and lovingly designed. So if you’re heading toward Emden or the Emsland region in general, you should definitely stay here!
In a small village near Emden, you can set up camp on a (slightly sloping) meadow. Every need is taken care of—the restroom facilities, especially the shower on hot days, are top-notch, and Doris is available almost anytime. From there, you can visit the beautiful city of Emden or take a bike ride a bit further along the dike. I had a really nice short trip and will definitely come back :)

You're in great hands with Doris. Everything you need for a day or even several days is right there. Everything was clean. I didn't even have to bring my own extension cord—I could just leave it in the car. Highly recommended! Thanks, Doris—and the potato salad was delicious.
The hostess was very nice. The bathroom with the rain shower is great and very well-maintained. There are a few nice farm shops in the immediate vicinity. It was a lovely stay.
A truly beautifully situated campsite right next to the park—central yet quiet, and very convenient for dog owners. Don’t forget to bring wheel chocks or air cushions, as the ground is slightly sloped. The nearest supermarket with a bakery is just a 5-minute walk away. The shower room and sink area are a real highlight—they’re kept in absolutely perfect condition. We highly recommend Doris as a host!

We had a wonderful time with Doris on her pitch! With our camper van and roof tent, we were parked in the garden, from which you have direct and barrier-free access to the nearby river - perfect for us as we were traveling with our dog. The walks there were wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the hot shower in the morning, the clean and pleasantly usable small bathroom and the lovely extras such as the coffee machine provided. Doris is a great hostess - warm, uncomplicated and attentive. Absolutely recommendable, we would love to come back!
We spent 2 nights there with our dog. For the fact that the farm is in the middle of Oldersum, it is very quiet. There is a modern bathroom with shower, a sink and you could make yourself a coffee. Only with the waste there could be a solution, you do not know where to put it, but after asking that was also solved uncomplicated. We stood down on the slurry slab and thus had a level pitch, which is of course no longer in use. The next time we visit Oldersum, we will definitely ask if there is room for us again.

We spent a lovely overnight stay in our small camper as a family with a child at Doris' garden. The garden with courtyard is very idyllic, the sanitary facilities are clean, modern and very well maintained. The surroundings with greenery and stream invite you to take a walk and linger. We can wholeheartedly recommend the pitch! ☀️🏕️✨
A wonderful place - ideal as a starting point for cycling tours east and west of the Ems. Everything you need is within walking distance: Bakery, supermarket, pizzeria. Doris is a very friendly and uncomplicated hostess.
The hosts were very friendly, the place was as described and the adjacent park is perfect for an evening walk with the dog.

Although we arrived a little late, Doris gave us a very warm welcome. We were just passing through and had a wonderful rest, apart from the chirping of the birds there was nothing to hear. The pitch is located on a large meadow on the edge of a small residential area and we felt very comfortable. The lovingly furnished and spotlessly clean bathroom and the available electricity connection can be used for a donation to the cash box provided, a nice and uncomplicated solution :-) We would love to come back.

Simply a great pitch. Quiet, great location, very large with a really great hostess. Not to mention a fantastic bathroom, which we were also allowed to use. All in all, one of the nicest and best pitches we've had so far. We will definitely be back.

Thank you so much, Doris! It was wonderful on your little meadow by the venerable farmhouse. We were warmly welcomed and learned about the farm, which has been passed down from generation to generation. Everything around the house and in the hallway and bathroom is lovingly decorated and furnished with beautiful things from the past. We were allowed to use a great bathroom. The village is tranquil and has a beautiful park that starts just behind the property. In some places you can learn about the history and good seafaring and trading times in the village. We will be back again. It was very quiet at night. It is advisable to bring wheel chocks. All in all, great accommodation for little money. Many thanks again.

We stayed one night in Oldersum and really appreciated the uncomplicated communication and the way the accommodation was run. The place at the old house is really nice, we were even allowed to shower in the great old bathroom of the house! The garden leads directly into a nice park.

Doris is super nice and very helpful. You stand in the garden of an old farm. Everything is very beautiful and lovingly arranged. The garden leads directly into a park where you can go for a nice walk. There are many small alleyways in the village. You can also go on lovely walks with your dog. We would love to come back!
