Great place, very friendly and helpful—and open to even small special requests. The option to book an additional bathroom is a fantastic service and a real luxury. You can buy chilled drinks and fresh eggs from the adjacent garden, and payment is easy via PayPal—that’s great too. A fantastic starting point for beautiful tours around Husum; we really enjoyed our stay.

We stood in a beautiful garden on the meadow and felt completely at ease. Unfortunately, we didn't meet Wienke ourselves, but we had very nice contact with the elderly gentleman who tends the garden. He even provided us with fresh vegetables and thyme for our daughter's cough. Thank you very, very much again! Husum was just a stone's throw away by car. We had a wonderful time despite the rain!

Wienke dealt with our inquiry very quickly and also answered further questions quickly. The place is as described, beautiful and close to nature, horses, chicken, rooster and cat, right on the square. Connecting electricity, water, using the bathroom and buying eggs in the farm store were uncomplicated and practical. We went on a guided mudflat hike nearby with the Wattfriesin Sesle Jacobs, highly recommended. Our hostess and her family were very friendly and also totally uncomplicated. My stay with the Wienke family was great. It was my first overnight stay of this kind and I was immediately pleasantly surprised. Everything was totally uncomplicated and absolutely hospitable. The garden is pure nature. Vegetable beds, flower beds, fruit trees, shrubs and meadows. Everything is beautifully laid out and well maintained. And if you look, you can watch the bees working on the flowers. But don't worry: the beehive is far away from the pitch and there are so many flowers in between that the bees aren't interested in you at all. The seating area by the construction trailer (where there is also electricity) is a great place to enjoy the sunset and sunrise, have something to eat or just relax. If the sun doesn't wake you up through the tent, the rooster, who has his enclosure with his chickens right next to the pitch, will. But as a bikepacker, you're usually up early anyway. All in all, I had a very nice stay and will be happy to come back if a trip takes me nearby. Thank you and best regards.

A very nice place on a meadow on the outskirts of the village with a view of horses and chickens with very friendly hosts. We were welcomed with delicious apple pie, had a great chat and would love to come back.

Wienke is a very nice hostess and we were allowed to spend a night here next to the chicken coop on the large meadow. The small bathroom in the house can be booked and is very nice.

What a place to stay. Wienke was a great host. Her place in beautiful and peaceful but very close still to a small supermarket and bakery. But Husum and the nature reserve are worth a visit, as is the Thursday Market in Husum. The big supermarkets in Husum will have everything you need. Highly recommended, especially the fresh eggs. 👍

Quiet location with electricity and great bathroom with shower. Wienke and family very nice people. Bakery within walking distance. We were here on a stopover in the direction of Denmark and will use this pitch again. Thank you very much for the lovely stay 👍😊😊

Beautiful place on a generally very well-kept and lovingly designed property. The shower room was super clean and the hostess very friendly. We have two dogs who were able to chill out next to the chickens. We would love to come back!

Super nice place next to the chickens with a view of the countryside. Very clean bathroom with shower in Wienke's house. You can buy eggs and honey in a small shed and in the morning you are woken up by the rooster. Communication and reception went smoothly. We felt very comfortable here for two nights and can recommend the place to anyone!

Very nice pitch right next to chickens and a meadow. Top bathroom and very nice hosts. Me and my dog felt very comfortable.

1a pitch as described. We were there for 1 night with family and dog and we didn't miss anything. Electricity available and the bathroom super tidy. We really enjoyed the peaceful natural surroundings. The hostess is welcoming and we would come back again.
