Kerstin and Martin were our first Hinterland hosts and have now set the bar pretty high. We had 4 very nice days on the pitch under the mighty oaks. The bathroom is perfect and Kerstin and Martin are very helpful. The weather didn't play along with us at all, but that didn't matter. We simply swapped our bikes for umbrellas and looked for short hikes in the area on Komoot. There's a wide range on offer. I also recommend a visit to Coesfeld and Borken and of course to the Obelink camping center. So even if the weather is really bad, there's plenty to do. The rest of the time we were able to read in the cozy caravan and enjoy the beautiful, quiet pitch with the idyllic view. Many thanks to Kerstin and Martin and of course Luna! Very warm welcome and the pitch is as described. There is plenty of sun, but always enough shade thanks to the oak trees. Also very nice for the four-legged friends. The ground is very good and even. The bathroom (shower and toilet), which can be used by guests, is also very pleasant. There are countless hiking trails. It is only 600 or 1200 meters to the shops. A little more to the Netherlands, but you can shop at Obelink in Winterswjik in just 15 minutes. We particularly liked the fact that Kerstin only rents out limited spaces, so you definitely have enough room. If you have a wish, Kerstin is so nice and takes care of it. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

We have spent a wonderful weekend at Kerstin. You are there in the middle of nature, but you can still make nice trips, for example, to Winterswijk. Although Kerstin had a family celebration that weekend, we were warmly welcomed. Thank you again for that.

We were very warmly welcomed by Kerstin and Martin and Luna. We had a place directly at the horse pasture, a wonderful view. The bathroom is very nice and clean, the only temporary use from 8 -18 clock has not bothered us at all. We can only give an absolute recommendation, we ourselves will definitely come back. My wife and I were the first time with Kerstin and Martin. We were warmly welcomed and were allowed to choose a place for our caravan in your small oak grove. This was done quickly and after a short construction we could already enjoy the absolute tranquility. Electricity and water are well provided for and the very nice bathroom completes the pitch with them. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to spend it in a beautiful area, the two are exactly right! The hosts always have an open ear and help where they can. We say again thank you both and we come back for sure!

A beautiful place, in the middle of a small oak grove. Gorgeous sunsets overlooking the paddock. The bathroom could not be better, perfect! The hosts are super friendly, animal loving and tolerant. We will definitely come back again.

We have extended the stay for 2 more nights for my daughter and her son. Our WW was located in a small grove right next to a horse meadow. Electricity, water, toilet and shower are 1A. Kerstin is a great hostess. We recommend a stay without restrictions.

We, my wife and I, rather the senior group, were very warmly welcomed by Kerstin. We could stand with our WW directly at the horse meadow and enjoy a beautiful sunset already on the first evening. The pitches are located in a small forest on a country road not heavily traveled. For electricity best to have a long power cable. Kerstin and the place is recommended without reservation. My daughter has taken over our WW directly and relaxes together with her 6j. son.

Everything suuuuuper. It was offered more than we need! And the weather also played along 😀 we can only say.... .... again and again!

I was again two nights in "short cure" in Münsterland. Even if it is cool - the pitch remains good and cozy and the mood by the turned hosts remains warm and cordial. It was a surprise break for my almost 80-year-old mother, she also enjoyed it there at the horse meadow very much and found the bath "wonderful".

We liked the stay very much. Nice pitch, everything you need there. Very quiet location. We felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back again!

Buswellness: Sunrise to wake up on the left, sunset for dinner on the right, happy horses to watch, a super place for the bus, ground level, in the shade, that did good in the heat, plenty of lawn for the dog, back-friendly couches for reading and snoozing, a small luxury bathroom, water and electricity there and close, everything lovingly designed, the creative Kerstin (I was able to buy such great socks!), who knows what tastes good, who had an answer to all my questions and good ideas for excursions, and Martin, who helps with car worries, who bakes perfect rolls and very quietly even puts them on the hood in the morning. Thanks for the short cure in Münsterland, I'll be back!

Super nice hosts, you really felt welcome. Right at the beginning you got shown everything and could choose a place. The separate guest toilet with shower is absolute luxury. We felt really comfortable, thanks to the two!

We were here to relax for a few days. Super friendly host, very nice and accommodating. The place is located under trees, is very well maintained also invite some sunbeds to enjoy the sunset. In a small store next to the door, you have a small selection of items. We are very happy to come back.

Our first experience over Hinterland could not have been better! A great pitch under old oaks with plenty of space and peace. We especially liked the view in the evening over the horse pasture. After a short bike ride followed a quiet night. A warm welcome and farewell by the hosts was also part of it. Absolutely recommendable!!!

After our Navi has led us in a circle around the farm, we just drove on good luck times on it and were very nicely received. We had free choice of place and decided for a place under trees, directly at the campfire. As our power cable was not enough, we were lent a cable drum. Free on top was a visit to the farm's horse barn, chicken and pony watching to get up, which especially pleased my wandering dwarf. Van campers should think of their own toilet, as WC and shower are not available. But instead a short distance to the camping specialty store in Winterswijk or the nearest swimming pool in Borken. And for the little ones there were still calves to look at at the neighbor across the street, goats to feed, a climbing frame with swings, slide and sandbox, and for the adults a milk filling station including vending machine with hot coffee or cocoa. Our expectations for a short weekend trip were exceeded!

It was a very nice (unfortunately too short) stay. The hosts were relaxed, and friendly. The place was according to the description. Easy to get to and more than enough space. Absolutely recommendable. We look forward to a next time.

Hello all. The stay with Kerstin in Südlohn was our first experience with "hinterland.camp" and a thoroughly positive one. After several years as a camper on normal campsites, it was our first attempt to try something new with a short trip via pitches - times one or two nights, explore the area and then use the flexibility with the camper and move on . . . but actually "normal" pitches, as you can find them on various pitch platforms, would have been somehow too impersonal for us. And so we wanted to try it via "hinterland.camp" and by chance came across the offer of Kerstin and booked based on the information on the platform and the previous very positive reviews - and did not regret it. To repeat the many positive reviews makes no sense, but we can confirm the very positive reviews all throughout and will definitely go a second time to Kerstin on the farm to enjoy the peace, the hospitality of Kerstin and the nice conversations with her and the other campers. Again and again with pleasure.

Simply beautiful! Had with my grandson a "men's weekend" with Kerstin. Super nice and everything easy. Were checked in by the OMA - all relaxed. Highlight was the stick bread and the marshmellow's in the evening - wood and a fireplace were on site. What can we say: anytime again and thank you for the hospitality!

The hosts are very friendly and cordial, the place between the trees is pure nature as well as the chickens, horses and cows give you the feeling of freedom. Also our dogs felt very comfortable. We received a very friendly welcome upon our arrival. The pitch on the site we could choose. At all this is no problem, the operators are completely uncomplicated. Up to three motorhomes can be supplied with electricity and water. Directly adjacent to the site is a horse paddock and an organic chicken pasture. Cows we have also seen. So everything as it should be in the country. You can also stand shady under trees, if you prefer. Opposite is a milk station, where you can also buy organic eggs, beer, honey and more at fair prices. Other shopping facilities such as a "Netto" in the village are within walking distance at 1.6 km quasi. If you are into cycling, you can ride countless kilometers on well-maintained agricultural roads. For people with forest preference (dogs) not quite optimal. A small forest (Brook / Brook hut) is about 3.6 km away. All in all, a nice and quiet place that we can definitely recommend if you do not need disposal. We will definitely come again.

We were on the site with three other motorhomes. The yard on the other side of the street also accommodated four campers. In the garden of an adjacent family home, a garden party was taking place. So we were looking for peace and quiet here in vain. The hostess was friendly and the location of the site was good.

We were very warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. Thank you very much! The children were allowed in the horse stable and we could move freely on the premises. Highly recommended! Electricity and water is available. The place under the trees offers shade and it is very neat here.

We have been guests twice now and it is always nice. The pitch in the woods invites you to linger and you decelerate directly. Better hosts than Kerstin and her husband you can not imagine. Totally lovely and nice people. We like to come back.
