Pure idyll! If you are looking for peace and quiet and a wonderful place with a very warm and hospitable owner, this is the place for you! Bertram and his wife have created a little paradise. Nothing is missing. The focus is on the ecological concept with a beautifully landscaped pond, bee meadows, stream and herb garden. Even the waste water is treated naturally. The hike to the valley office is highly recommended. All in all, we felt extremely comfortable and had a really good rest. Thank you Bertram!
Bertram is a very personable and very attentive host, his personal story inspired me. He and his partner have created such a beautiful, idyllic place with an ecological approach. You have a fantastic spot, everything is beautiful and harmonious. The delicious beer is also highly recommended. The surroundings are a real natural paradise. We were really pleased with the self-made guest gift from his own wood workshop. "A really nice gesture" The sanitary facilities, water and electricity supply were all tip-top! Very open and friendly host. We felt very welcome and even our two little ones had a lot of fun exploring. Definitely suitable for families. If you're looking for an alternative to overcrowded campsites and fancy a good chat with Bertram, this is the place for you.
Bertram is a friendly and helpful host who delighted us with his personal story. You must try the beer on offer and the surrounding area is a real hiker's paradise. As we came via Hinterlandcamp, we even received a lovingly crafted gift from Bertram's own wood workshop - a really nice gesture! He also gave us direct and uncomplicated support with a small repair to the camper.
We really enjoyed our stay with Bertram, the site is on the outskirts of the village and you can start beautiful hikes from there. The grounds are a little oasis and the host couple are very friendly and make every effort to ensure that nothing is missing! We would love to come back!

Very quiet and idyllic location. Nearest forest route only about 5min walk. Some beautiful sights in the Schwarzwassertal within walking distance of 1h approx. Bertram is a very kind and accommodating host, from the first second felt 100% in good hands. As a first experience with Hinterland and solo camping, a warm recommendation.

One of the best experiences for us so far in Hinterland, we felt very welcome with our dogs. Bertram is a wonderful host, friendly, courteous, uncomplicated, always approachable. The place is very well equipped with electricity and clean sanitary facilities, always a well-stocked fridge with excellent beer from a local microbrewery, bakery 2min walk. The entire site is very beautiful, tastefully furnished with great attention to detail and expertise. Falcons nest in the tower, the bee pasture is buzzing, the small mountain stream is babbling. Close proximity to sights such as Schwarzwassertal, Seiffen, show mines and the Czech Republic. Saxony - always worth a visit, pleasantly down-to-earth, unobtrusive and honest people everywhere. We would love to come back.

A very nice place that was prepared with a lot of love. Bertram was a great host. Super nice and accommodating. He even made our request for a different pitch possible immediately. And the sanitary facilities were a dream. So a clear recommendation from us! Thank you Bertram 😊
Bertram looked after our Easter vacation in a friendly and caring manner from the moment we enquired until we left. He gave us tips for hikes, we had a cozy evening at the Easter fire and the beer from the small private brewery KHW is absolutely delicious. Although the vegetation was only slowly turning green, we realized how much effort he puts into keeping the area close to nature. We give it a clear recommendation!
