A beautiful spot in the countryside. Easy to get to (by car). The pond with the ducks is a definite plus. It's an open space. Recommended for short stops.

Great location, great staff—very friendly.
It was a lovely long weekend, and you get exactly what’s described. There’s no electricity, no toilet, and no running water, but it’s very peaceful. Basically, no one ever comes by the site, you don’t have to check in anywhere, and it’s very flexible. Communicating with Karsten was a breeze, and the area is perfect for bike rides. I didn’t need anything else, and that was just fine 😊

This was our first time here. Unfortunately, nothing was growing in the fields at the time, but that didn’t matter. It was very clean and quiet. We didn’t get to meet the hosts, which actually worked out in our favor, since we’re currently traveling with a dog that has behavioral issues. We’d love to come back again. It was lovely watching the ducks by the fire pit, and we really enjoyed them—though we didn’t go inside the enclosure itself. Thank you again for letting us use this very well-maintained spot.
Absolutely stunning scenery. A lovely, relaxing place with some funny ducks. The hosts were very, very friendly and accommodating. At Easter, there was even a little surprise that really helped me get through my day of bikepacking. I’d love to come back!!!
We used the parking space for an overnight stopover. The small meadow by the pond is conveniently located but still very quiet and idyllic. We had a lot of fun watching the funny ducks and really enjoyed our short stay. Great place and very nice communication with the host, we'd love to come back. Thank you Karsten and family!
It was another nice and quiet time. If you're looking for seclusion, this is the place for you. Especially when the corn is still standing. I'll definitely be back.
The communication with Karsten was very nice & totally uncomplicated. Regarding the pitch: "it does exactly what it says on the tin"! We enjoyed watching the cute runner ducks, e.g. how they went to sleep in the duck house in the evening. Dragonflies could also be seen :) We'll be back sometime because I was ill & unfortunately couldn't do anything.

The contact was friendly and extremely helpful right from the start. Questions are answered immediately or a solution is worked out together and the impossible is made possible. Here you meet people with their hearts in the right place. Simply recommendable!
A nice place, located next to a pond. Very quiet in a beautiful setting. We did not see anyone. When the corn is high you are a little more sheltered, but it was no problem at all. We enjoyed it (despite the not so good weather)!
Super nice place and mega nice host. Pure nature to enjoy and the runner ducks and wild geese at the pond very cute. Short walk to the old town. Bentheim Castle really worth seeing. 30 minutes to Holland.

The small and quiet site is in an idyllic location. We parked our camper right in front of the fenced-in duck pond. Communication was very quick and friendly. We were very happy about the unexpected bread roll service, which was requested the evening before. The place is highly recommended.

The communication was very friendly, very detailed and very fast. All questions were answered and we could have contacted them at any time for tips, suggestions and if something didn't work out. The place was exactly as described and is also beautiful when the fields are harvested. Everything was great and we would definitely come back!
Very nice pitch and very friendly host. As one field had already been harvested, you could watch hares and deer on the field in the evenings and mornings. I'll definitely be back before the harvest.

We had a very nice and quiet night, the only thing you can hear are the ducks at the pond😬. We can highly recommend Karsten's pitch to anyone who is looking for peace and quiet and likes to be alone in nature.
First of all, I would like to thank our host. Communication with him was great and Karsten always responded to inquiries at lightning speed. The pitch itself is really nice and also completely sufficient for larger vehicles. We really enjoyed our time there. In between we also had visits from various four-legged neighbors, deer, rabbits and dog "Lucy". All in all, a really nice place to relax. We will definitely be back.

It was really idyllic between fields. A very nice big pond with cute ducks where you can relax. This was our first trip with Hinterland and we are completely satisfied and would love to come back wieder☺️☀️
A beautiful spot in the middle of fields. If you feel like it, you can have a chat with the runner ducks, otherwise it's a wonderful place to relax. It was my first time out with Hinterland and both the communication and the pitch were great.
A great pitch for self-sufficient campers. Surrounded only by farmland and a small pond with ducks. Perfect for a break. There are plenty of opportunities for cycling. We felt very comfortable. The contact with Karsten was very easy and nice. We can absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back.
The approach to the site is easy to manage, even with large vehicles (7m). The pitch is wonderfully situated in the middle of fields by a small fire pond with cute inhabitants (ducks). The small mowed meadow right next to the pond invites you to relax and slow down, walks included 👍. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back.

Nice place close to the highway. You can see the fields in all directions. Quiet. If you are very sensitive, the railroad line may disturb you in some experience. But as we said, at some distance. It didn't bother me at all. It was nice to watch the ducks despite the bad weather. Highly recommended. Henning
