We had a great weekend with Franky in the hinterland with our VW Bullis. Franky is great and uncomplicated. With Franky you get an all-round carefree package where you really feel at home. His dog Paul is also a very nice guy. This was not the last time we stayed with Franky and we look forward to seeing him again, hopefully in better weather. ☀️ LG
It was wonderful again at Fränki's! We had a wonderful rest and enjoyed the peace and nature in the tent to the full. Fränki was very helpful and communication ran smoothly. We also got along very well with the dog Paul. 5+ stars!
I felt that I was in good hands with Fränki. It's all very quaint and simple, exactly what I was looking for. Great conversations and enough time for me. I'd love to come back when I'm passing through again.
"Fine, quaint and rustic place near Bassum" is exactly what I would have said. And that's exactly what Fränki is. A fine, quaint and rustic guy. He is also absolutely friendly. Everything is absolutely uncomplicated, Fränki makes every effort to ensure that you are comfortable and you always find something to talk about with him. If you're looking for "chic and trendy", you'd better look elsewhere. But if you like or accept things a little more purist, you've come to the right place. I really enjoyed the (unfortunately much too short) time and would have liked to stay another day if my bikepacking schedule hadn't said otherwise. And even if dog "Paul" is a bit loud and boisterous with excitement and joy at meeting new guests for the first time, he really just wants to play and won't hurt anyone. Once he knows someone, he is immediately more relaxed when he returns later after shopping or eating out. The two of them are an absolutely great team. I will be happy to come back if I have another tour nearby. Thank you Fränki.
Fränki and his dog Paul gave us a very friendly welcome. Pleasant, courteous and totally lovely. From check-in to farewell. Highly recommended. You can expect an interesting time relaxing in nature. See you next time. :)

Fränki gave us a very warm welcome again and took good care of us. We felt very comfortable and recommend the place without reservation 😀
Pitch surrounded by greenery between bamboo and ferns. We had a very quiet night in a beautiful spot. We didn't mind that it wasn't mowed this time, especially as we booked very spontaneously. There is a paddock next door and Paul the dog was always in the garden looking after us. Fränki was a very open, nice and obliging host. Sharing the toilet and bathroom in the old farmhouse was no problem.
Frank was a nice, helpful host and we felt very comfortable with him. We can definitely recommend him.
Great place, we got on really well with Fränki and Paul (the dog). Just relax and unwind a little. Our son felt very comfortable ❤️
Super hospitable and helpful host. Uncomplicated process, quiet and sheltered place. WC, shower and drinking water were available at all times. Can I recommend without reservation. We have felt comfortable with Fränki.

In wonderfully quiet surroundings we have felt completely comfortable here. With Fränki and also with Paul we got along wonderfully. This was the most relaxing and inspiring place we had the chance to get to know during our cycling vacation - we both agreed on that. Fränkis Garten can be recommended all around. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop by here :)

The price lured me, without much luxury and staying close to nature is my thing! It was a great stay in the green paradise. Fränki is a host who is completely unobtrusive but open. So you get, if you want, also really good conversations for free. The bird concert has flashed me.
Like last year, a gelunger evening at Fränki. The mood was good, the weather at late hour no longer so but that was not bad because we could then sit inside. So Fränki once again thank you from us.
Fränki is a very nice host, the location is very quiet and offers enough space. Shopping facilities are available in 15min distance. In one sentence again and again thank you for the nice time

The stay with Frank was very nice. The place is very quaint, romantic and exotic. Where do you see big bamboo growing :) Frank helped us set up and was very helpful with all things. I am already looking forward to the next time.
Our short trip with Fränki and Paul was eventful, beautiful and relaxing. The place is as described quaint and natural. Fränki is a very nice and dedicated host who is happy to help with words and deeds. We had cool conversations, a nice campfire and are glad to have made your acquaintance, Fränki.
Frank is a very nice host and took super care of us. Unfortunately, it was very rainy and cold at night in the tent, but our host has done everything to make our stay as nice as possible. We will definitely come again, but then with the camper.

Have spent a few nights with Frank and dog Paul. It was great. A very nice, extremely helpful and friendly host. Everything is available for rustic camping. Even in bad weather Frank has found a solution to be able to sit in the dry. Absolutely quiet garden, where you can relax comfortably. The environment invites you to cycling or hiking. Thank you Frank for the very nice days, despite mixed weather. We will definitely come back again. By the way: Who is looking for glamping is wrong here.

The location is very quiet and well suited for bike rides. The place is rustic and a little narrow, but about which the host has informed us in advance. He was very nice and helpful when parking and unparking so there were no problems. We felt very comfortable and would go there again.

Unfortunately, we could not stay overnight with Frank due to Corona. Nevertheless, the contact with him incl. cancellation was very friendly and problem-free . Many greetings Anja
