Hey everyone, we are Torben + Maren (not yet campers) and live with our little daughters on a 4-generation farm in tranquil Sandlingen. We would be delighted if you like it on our pitch.

Torben is a really nice host, and the campsite was beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by nature.

We were at the farm meadow with two vans; Torben only allows a maximum of three campers there. So everything was very quiet and idyllic. Torben even gave us firewood for our romantic evenings. A nice host with a wonderful family. Highly recommended.
A fantastic spot surrounded by nature. Pure idyll. We were able to build a fire; Torben provided us with firewood (for a small fee). An absolutely peaceful location. We rented a barrel sauna. We also got in touch with the provider through Torben. All in all, highly recommended without reservation.

We were on the forest meadow and it was a wonderful place, quiet, close to nature and still easy to reach. Unfortunately we didn't meet Torben and his family, but the contact and everything worked out wonderfully. We had a great family time and will definitely be back again.

Arrangements are very straightforward! Great meadow for camping and plenty of space to play or if you prefer to have your peace and quiet. It's a great place to stay, anytime again!

The green meadow in the forest lives up to its name. Birdsong, peace and quiet and surrounded by nature. It's beautiful here!

One thing first: we will definitely be repeat offenders. The place is an absolute dream and I would like to thank Torben and his lovely family for making it available. In the middle of the forest in a clearing, you drive right down. The access road is easy to manage and secured by a barrier. The site is very level in most places. We stood up straight and didn't need any wheel chocks. Even if there are three of you on the pitch - like us - you can get out of each other's way if you want to. We had very nice fellow campers. Best wishes to father and son and the 3 dogs Odin, Loki and Philly ;-) The nearby forest invites you to go for a walk. It's just a few minutes' walk to a gravel pond where our little one could cool off wonderfully. The small village of Sandlingen also invites you to take a little tour. Everything is very well-kept and very agricultural. At night, it's really completely quiet and the most you can hear is a fox coughing. In the morning you sit in front of your van and hear the birds chirping - nothing else. Simply wonderful. We stood in the forest meadow. Torben also offers a pitch on a meadow near his farm. Torben looked after us wonderfully. As soon as I contacted him, he sent me all the information about the site so that it was easy to find. Even though we didn't get to know each other personally, I can only say: Torben is great ;-) See you next time.

Still a great host! Torben is helpful, always has a tip or two at the ready and simply enjoys the Hinterland project. The pitches are large, well-kept and in great surroundings for hiking, relaxing and exploring. We love coming here again and again!

Wonderful walks are possible, as well as a fire bowl, which Torben provides to spend cozy evenings with stick bread. The contact with Torben was great and the place was tip-top. This time we were only passing through, but next time we'll have to take a closer look at the architecture of the region. Then we'll stay longer.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you are in good hands at this beautiful place. Highly recommended as a stopover. If you like to improvise, you can also stay for several days. We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed it.
I was in one of its meadows, in the middle of nature. It's a wonderful place to get away from it all and find peace and quiet. Torben is a very friendly host, always happy to return!

woooow, from the first contact to the departure, Torben is still what I miss more and more today, such a warm, normal person, with whom you can chat so wonderfully 😊 and the place just in the forest, very quiet, the sunrise on one side and the moonlight through the trees, on the other side, the bird concert and the Käutzchen at night 🥰 the area around with beautiful paths through the woods, was pure nature refueling, with my dogs 😊

We had a great day with Torben at the Waldwiese. The location is really great and Torben a very nice accommodating host. In the evening, some tractors commuted on the path in front of the meadow - my kids found that totally super 😃. We are very very happy to come back.

A super fast processing and very friendly contact. The place in the forest on the meadow is wonderful, we were just passing through for a night, had immediately packed the bikes and drove to the nearest village, wonderful - the air, the food (near the monastery) and the nature around. We enjoyed it so much that we did not have time to meet the host Torben personally nor to leave our entry in the guestbook. Gladly next time. Really TOP address!!!
We had a wonderful first family camping trip. We stood with Buzz and tent on the spacious meadow at the farm, It is wonderfully quiet with visits from bats and fireflies. We will be back again!
Well, what can I say? This is exactly how I imagined it. Absolutely quiet meadow in isolation, framed by trees that you can use as shade and a great host. For safety he also gives a fire extinguisher for the stay (if you don't have one with you). I will return already in August and otherwise become a regular visitor when I have to do in the area.

Very nice contact. Since Schützenfest was, we have Torben but not get to see, but this was not necessary, because we have received a super briefing via WhatsApp to the pitch. We stood with Torben at the yard, not in the forest piece, as this was already fully occupied. For us as transients, the stay was wonderful. Also the environment there is absolutely recommended.
Torben is super nice and accommodating! And the place was idyllically located in the forest. We were unfortunately only there for one night. On a new visit we plan more time 😉

Hello, We were very kindly welcomed by Torben and his nice family and felt very comfortable on his really beautiful forest property. If you love peace and nature, you will be thrilled here. Many beautiful bike tours we have made and in Wienhausen we were delicious food. So if you like self-sufficient, you are exactly right here. A wonderful, quiet and lonely place to which we will certainly return. We had the meadow to ourselves for one night, simply magical. At night it is pitch dark, the starry sky is magical and with luck you can see shooting stars. Torben and his family are friendly and cordial, also the communication was uncomplicated. Torben is a very warm host, has responded to our wishes and we felt very comfortable. Our overnight stay was on his farm meadow, where we could relax well. We will certainly come back and can only recommend everyone to visit Torben.

Torben is a pleasant host who leaves no questions unanswered. The site is very quiet in a clearing in the forest, three campers are guaranteed not to get in each other's way. The location is gorgeous and very quiet. We have savored the two days to the last minute. In stormy weather, however, I would have a little queasy feeling, because in the immediate vicinity are many fallen trees. The hosts were very nice. The hiking trails are well marked. Star deduction there is only because for the dog had to pay an extra obulus. We find 14 € for nothing more than the meadow is quite enough.

We really liked it at Torben's place. It is very quiet and you can relax great. Also for our dog it was optimal, because you have many paths to walk directly on site. On the way back we took a beautiful bouquet of tulips from the flower field:). We will definitely come again.

We were for the second time at Toben on the meadow in the forest and even in autumn it is very nice there. Torben is an absolutely nice person and the place itself idyllic, quiet, surrounded by nature. We definitely come to visit a third time :)
Torben confirmed the booking by phone. A very pleasant first impression. I spent 2 nights on the idyllic meadow after Torben had greeted me warmly and given tips ( shopping, monastery, walks etc. ). Who is looking for a secluded pitch close to nature and loves long (forest) walks, is right here. The "wet meadow" was no problem for my caravan team. Who has concerns, should Torben address, because he "knows his meadow"! I have found my personal paradise on this small clearing with my dogs. The perfect place to drive down, to breathe deeply and to let the soul dangle. Torben, thank you very much on this way. I will come again!
The place is in the middle of the forest and very quiet and idyllic. Torben and his family were really great hosts. In advance we talked on the phone and discussed how I get to the meadow. Torben has sent me the Koordinatendann via Googlemaps. I found it immediately. He then came in the evening briefly to say hello vorbeigeradelt and even had a giant zucchini from their own garden as a gift, which I found very cool. As I said, the place is quite magical and quiet. Especially as a city dweller you get to know the smells and sounds of nature at night. You should be self-sufficient, the place is just a meadow and not a campsite. Therefore also my request: Do not leave any garbage or other leftovers and do not make a fire. Otherwise, great hosts like Torben and his family lose namely at some point the desire to offer us campers such places from private to private and that would be a real loss. P.S. At the turnoff to the campsite there is a flower meadow for self-picking. You pay on a trust basis. Depending on the season (and talent :)) you can take home a very pretty bouquet.

We contacted Torben at very short notice because we were looking for a pitch for the night. The meadow on the edge of a forest was very quiet and invited to relax. For us definitely among the top 3 of our so far approached pitches. Also to mention is Torben's courteous hospitality and plus points are also for the beautiful flower field. We will definitely be back!

Our second stay at Torben's idyllically located meadow was again wonderful. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in the middle of the forest. On the way back we stopped again at the flower field to take home a nice souvenir bouquet. Torben is really a very warm host. We are already very much looking forward to the next reunion!

Torben's place is absolutely recommendable! Peace, nature, great hiking and biking trails. The place was fully occupied from our second night with 3 vehicles (including us) and because it is so spacious, you have hardly noticed the neighbors. Huge amount of space for 3! And Torben is an absolutely nice, hospitable person. We will definitely come back again
Fantastic!! We enjoyed the stay very much. We will come again. Torben is super nice and came over for a short time. The place has "everything you need" - as a "real" camper. Namely: nature and tranquility. Very easy to reach. At night even a roebuck crept around on the meadow. MIttendrin instead of just there. And super well located. Baker is quickly reached by bike. Depending on the weather, however, you should expect mosquitoes and not too scarce.
Beautiful quiet place. Just right for campers who seek peace and love nature and enjoy being awakened in the morning by the chirping of birds. There it may be that in the evening the deer times looks past. We felt very comfortable. Torben is a very good and attentive host. By means of his good directions we found the place right away. Nice quiet place. Clean and well maintained. Very nice host. Ideal to relax and recharge your batteries. Would come again at any time.
Super pitch in a clearing on the edge of the forest. Various restaurants within 5 km. Occasional noise from nearby construction operations, but moves clearly into the background. Come back with pleasure.
A beautiful quiet meadow where we have stood super well with our camper. Before we have sent via Whatsapp the approach details. Although it had rained all day, we were able to stand well on a sandy piece and could also drive the next day super back down from the place. A really idyllic place, which we can only recommend - and Torben is an uncomplicated host.
Cozy little clearing that we had all to ourselves. Very rarely a car drives over the small village road next door, but all good. Very nice contact, thank you!

Great alternative to wild camping
It was really great. Big meadow. High trees. No more than 3 caravans. Great alternative to the campground.
Big place, high trees, green meadow, good to drive to, there is grocery store with bakery not far away, It was a great time to be in the nature. You can play volleyball, soccer, badminton and so on here. Or just enjoy the peace and escape from everyday life and listen to birds chirping. Not to compare to the pitch close to close. A great alternative.
We have felt very comfortable on Torben's meadow. It is wonderfully quiet and you can walk a lot and far. In addition, Torben is a very attentive and helpful host. We were there only for one night, but will certainly come again! :-)
We had 2 very nice nights. Torben the host makes a lot of effort, is always available if what would be and also comes in person to look after the right or to hold a small chat. The meadow was freshly mowed and well passable. In the immediate and spacious surroundings you can walk wonderfully. We will come again.

We stayed at Torben's place as a stopover on our way to Fehmarn. Easy to find with Torben's description. Great, quiet place in the middle of the forest. Why was mowed and even in the rain no problems with mud. We went for a walk a lot after we arrived. The gardens in the adjacent village are the hammer, very nice to look at. We will certainly come back again!

This here is a very nice place for self-sufficient campers on a meadow in a wooded area and ideal starting point for nice bike tours e.g. to the monastery Wienhausen. In Wienhausen there are several nice restaurants and an ice cream parlor. In the village (about 700m away from the site) there is a public playground. The landlord Thorben is very nice. We liked it here so much that we also stood on the way back again a night. We will be happy to come back. All the best Thorben and many greetings from Halle / Saale.
Very pleasant host. Good approach and very quiet meadow place in the middle of the forest. A dirt road passes within sight with occasional walkers, joggers, cyclists and sometimes a car.
A really great and idyllic place on the forest.The location to very beautiful Ausfugsziele is perfect, on foot or by bike, all within easy reach.And the host is very nice and open-minded, has also made us once again aware of why we like to book here, the exceptional pitches because of and to meet nice people.
