Hello campers! We are Melli & Patrick from the beautiful Deggenhausertal, the hinterland of Lake Constance, and would be delighted to be your "Hinterland" hosts. We are always at your disposal for questions, wishes, suggestions, excursion tips and small talk. Why do we offer camping? Because our fruit trees invite you to linger and you can enjoy your well-deserved time-out to the full with a view of the flora, fauna and (wild) animals. We look forward to seeing you! A lovely spot on the edge of an orchard. Animals right within sight. The toilet and shower are very basic—located in a container—but perfectly adequate. Hot water is available. A communal bonfire with other visitors on the first evening, with the option to barbecue.
A simple parking spot by the side of the road. A beautiful area for walking. The lawn could have used a mowing. Very nice hosts and a warm welcome.
We spent a lovely and peaceful turn of the year at the Obsthof. Melli and her family are warm and dedicated hosts and always strive for the well-being of their guests, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back 🙃
Nice quiet spot. Parking directly under the east trees, a little crooked but can be balanced with wedges (there are also some on site that you can use). The road that runs past the site is very quiet. Great place to relax. Will definitely be back 👍🏻
Brief information upon arrival: there is a large meadow and we can park wherever we want. Those who like to park on an unmowed meadow with lots of windfall fruit will certainly give a better rating, but it wasn't for us. We actually wanted to stay for two nights, but moved on after one night. _______________ Host's response: _______________ Hello Sabine, please accept our apologies for the negative experience you had at our farm. We will take your negative review as an opportunity to find a solution for other campers. Unfortunately, we couldn't mow the meadow generously because we would have destroyed tons of windfall fruit, and that would have been a shame. There were two other great spots on the farm to choose from, both graveled and without apples. September is apple harvest time here on Lake Constance, and the best apple juice comes from orchards (or, as you described, windfall fruit). We do our best to ensure that all campers here with us are satisfied and happy, as it is of course in our interest to provide all campers with a great stay. We felt very welcome at Melli's. The campsite is in a quiet location, and Lake Constance is just a short drive away.
Hello, Yes, we will definitely be back, it's something completely different. Due to the many children, the sanitary facilities are not always the best, children like to play with everything they can find, so you can and must live with restrictions, self-help is the order of the day, all utensils and resources are available, showering is also possible with flip-flops, you should do it in the public bathrooms anyway, There is also disinfectant available, all in all, children are in very good hands here, every problem is taken care of, the hosts are super nice and friendly, and don't forget, this is a natural site, not everything is sterile, which we didn't expect when we read the description of the site. The German authorities (and others...) don't make it easy for Melli and Patrick to maintain these beautiful, natural pitches. It's great that there are still young people like them who still make an effort for this type of camping. Thank you very much 🙏🥰.
Very scenic and quiet pitch. Pitches partly on gravel, partly on grass and all more or less sloping due to the terrain. In wet weather, the grass is soft and may not be possible to drive on. You need somewhat larger wedges, although some wooden ones are available on site, as is electricity. WC/shower facilities are simple and functional. The provider is very friendly and uncomplicated.

We spent a wonderful week on this quiet pitch and felt very comfortable from the very first day. The surroundings invite you to relax - just switch off, take a deep breath and unwind. Exactly what we were looking for. A big thank you to the hosts - we were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed the nice conversations. You can tell that a lot of love and commitment goes into the work here. Everything essential is available and well thought out. One small wish for the future: a little more comfort in the sanitary facilities would be nice - but that's complaining on a high level. We would definitely like to come back - it was an all-round relaxing time!
A really great place! Out in nature, in the middle of the orchard. It was just as it should be in life, easy and uncomplicated. The space next to the horses was wonderful and Meli was a very cheerful host even in her absence. For us it was not the last time we will come. See you next time.

The roof tent adventure on the wooden platform with slide etc. was not available, which we were unfortunately not informed about in advance. After two hours of waiting, we were then offered a smaller roof tent on a car and, on additional request, a smaller tent as well, which was better with a child - or that we could drive home. Because we wanted to spend a short trip with friends, we agreed. The tents were OK, the toilets were not clean, there was no kitchen, the space under the trees was very nice. The children loved the ponies. The campfire in the evening was also nice.
We felt very comfortable with Melli and Patrick! A very nice, quiet place in the countryside with very nice and dedicated hosts! We would love to come back! One star deduction for the sanitary facilities. These are still a bit under construction, so no reproach... But there is definitely still room for improvement :)
It was so nice at Obsthof Moll 😍 super lovely hosts, the best farm store and an incredibly idyllic place. Definitely recommend it to others! The children also had so many opportunities to play or take the ponies out... Thank you for everything!

Super nice family, we felt very comfortable. We especially enjoyed having breakfast next to the ponies. Our children were able to move around freely due to the quiet location. Thanks to the great playground and the host children, they were never bored. Communication with the hosts was uncomplicated. We would love to come back ☺️
It was great staying with Melli and Patrick. We received a super warm welcome and were given everything we needed to be happy here for a few days. We received a very friendly welcome and a warm welcome. Due to the damp meadow, we chose the slightly larger pitch with gravel, where we made ourselves comfortable with two vans. You should definitely have wheel chocks with you, but that wasn't a problem for us. A fire bowl and firewood are available and can be used. So nothing stood in the way of two cozy evenings by the campfire and candlelight. Melli kept looking after us and we felt completely at ease. If time permits, we would love to come back for the apple blossom!
My children and I had a great week here among the apple trees. Our tent was on a trailer with plenty of space on it. We had a beer bench set in front of the tent. We made a campfire and grilled marshmallows. There was a nice little playground and a small hut with a table and bench and a small fridge. There were ponies and 2 horses in the paddock next to the tent, which was just right for my daughter😀. The location is great, bakery and mini supermarket nearby. Melli and her husband are great hosts. We would love to come back next year.
Melli gave us a very warm welcome and took time for us as new guests. We felt very comfortable from the first eyeblink and will keep our night in the roof tent in unique memory. We would love to come back!
Great place and super lovely hosts! The site is in a quiet location, unfortunately a bit uneven, but there are wedges available. It's a paradise for children. Horses to stroke, a new playground and a trampoline leave nothing to be desired. Price performance is top here! You can buy drinks and ice cream in the small farm shop, for example. We had a great time here and will definitely be back!
Beautiful orchard with several horses. Unfortunately, it was not possible to communicate in advance. No briefing upon arrival. It was unacceptable that the separation toilet was completely overflowing for the first two days and only then emptied (we have plenty of experience with separation toilets). Fortunately, there is a good bakery nearby. Lots of wasps due to windfall fruit lying around. _______________ Host's response: _______________ Hello Sebastian, you caught us in the middle of hay harvest 😉 - the hay had to be brought in quickly because of the weather so that the animals would have enough to eat in winter, which is why I overlooked your emails in advance - please accept our apologies for this. We are sorry for the negative experience, from which we have also learned. The separation toilet was an experiment this year, which unfortunately ended negatively. We learned from this and now there is a sanitary container with a fixed toilet, shower, and running water. In fact, we cannot always collect all the apples ad hoc, as our farm is based on scattered fruit trees and the wasps have a natural habitat there, which we humans are encroaching on. In the countryside, from mid-August onwards, it's important to wear shoes, otherwise there is a risk of being stung by wasps. If we had had more time when you visited us, we would certainly have found a good alternative and solution. We hope to welcome you back soon and send you warm regards from Lake Constance!
Very lovely, warm and helpful hosts with a beautiful shady apple grove. Very good for hiking, cycling or just relaxing. Salem with its free lido can be reached by bike in half an hour. Meersburg is an hour away. Of course, everything is quicker to reach by car. There is a wonderful bakery within walking distance. We would like to thank Melli and Patrick for the wonderful time and the pleasant barbecue evening. We would love to come back

It was very nice with Melli, Luisa and their horses. Unfortunately the emergency toilet didn't work at all, but otherwise it was really nice!

The location between the apple trees is very beautiful.
We received a warm welcome. The children can groom, stroke and walk the ponies together with the farm kids. An absolute highlight! The pitch is located directly on a meadow by the fruit trees and we even had the luxury of being able to watch the horses grazing below from the caravan. There is also a small farm store. Really great value for money!
Very nice hosts with a relaxed attitude. We were allowed to help ourselves to wood and water without any problems and questions were gladly answered. We were even allowed to build our own fire pit. The toilet is perfectly fine (but bring your own toilet paper to be on the safe side). However, we would have liked to have really stood under fruit trees; the possible pitches are between the orchard and the country road. Nevertheless, we would love to come again :)

Was super nice, lots of shade under the trees. Hosts are openly communicative. Everything that was important to us was perfect. Fire and barbecue was not an issue. Got good local guide info from melli. Any time again.

Melli & Patrick are very nice hosts, we immediately felt at home. They were very open and very nice. The place is easy to recommend, the adults come to rest and can relax, the children have everything there is a playground animals ice cream and a farm store. You can also rent very comfortable chairs or a roof tent on site kaufen☺️ We were only there for two nights and would have liked to stay longer but we will definitely be back.

A nice place for those who do not like it normal. The site is located in a side street (exit of the village). The site is sloping in almost all places, not suitable for all vehicle or caravan lengths. There are numerous chocks, bricks and wood to put under, if not the right thing is there, so Melli and Patrick helps wherever it is necessary. Even when moving, one is not alone, here help is always offered by the two. The water supply is centrally located at the garages and the black box can be disposed of in a DIXI toilet when it is EMPTY. Otherwise there is a thunder bar as a toilet for those who do not have their own toilet on board. A shower is not available, but can still be. One stands mostly under apple trees and numerous animals live together in the family compound. These include pony and horse, an ox and rabbits. A playground for the little ones is also available as well as barbecue area and barbecue hut and fire bowl. There is enough wood, if not, ask Melli. Here you will also find numerous roof tents of different brands and price ranges, most of them are cleverly built and can be used for testing. Melli is an absolute expert and explains everything in detail, Patrick mounts the roof tent on the car roof. What else is there? Oh yes, a small farm store supplies you with local cheese, ice cream, drinks and all sorts of other things. Eggs and noodles you can buy from the neighbor. The village of Untersiggingen has a very well-stocked organic food store and a small market where you can buy everything important. Gas station is also available and in the neighboring village you can also buy bread rolls on Sunday. This place and its hosts are really very very nice and we will definitely see each other again. Beautiful location, we could pitch our tent directly under the apple trees! In the place there is also a very nice organic supermarket, which is a few minutes walk from the farm. Everything worked out great : )
The place under the fruit trees is really beautifully situated. The farm store and the bar for self-service was unfortunately completely empty. Important to know: you are not alone. Actually, it is more campground than pitch you would expect at Hinterland. In addition, the deposited site is about 4 km away from the actual place

Very relaxed place to camp, play, explore the region. The hosts are super friendly and uncomplicated. Our children were allowed to move freely and had quickly found playmates. We will be happy to come again!

We had 4 beautiful days with Melli and Patrick . The place is located on a meadow with many fruit trees. We had visitors from the ponies, horses, the ox, even a fox we could watch in the evening when catching mice ... mega beautiful ... pure nature :) Patrick provides you with water , there is electricity and a toilet . At the house is a small farm store and the next store is within walking distance . Melli and Patrick are mega nice hosts and very eager to meet all your needs . We had a nice short vacation at the fruit farm. Very nice and helpful hosts and sleeping among the fruit trees with campfire in the evening was great for the kids. The Affenberg and the swimming lake in Salem are worth a trip.
Very nice hosts. The meadow orchard on the outskirts of the village is fantastically beautiful. The roof tents very cozy and with the fire bowls you can make a very nice evening. Highly recommended!

I was 2 nights with caravan, two kids and a baby there. It was beautiful 🤩 at the same time camped a medieval troupe there, my boys were allowed there archery and one evening there was a fire show with singing. Were we lucky. Melli and her family are very nice people, have a lot to do... so you don't see and hear much from them. But through communication in advance, everything was explained anyway and no questions remained open. The pitches are located on the edge of the apple orchard meadow / paddock to the country road ... which is almost not driven except tractors doing their field work. Real country life. At night it is restfully quiet, the crickets sing. My boys were out all day, petting ponies ... feeding Felix, making the area unsafe with the local kids. They enjoyed it so much 🥰 as well make fire at the barbecue and grill sausages. Trampoline, slide and swing were also extensively tested. Teeth brushing and cat washing is done here outdoor, there is fresh water available to tap. Also the toilet is simple but clean and does what it should. A very great separating toilet with classic heart doors. Next time we take a stool for the wc, very high for kids. At the site there is a central point where there are several power outlets, here is recommended in any case to bring a sufficiently long cable if you camp on the farthest site. In the lovingly designed Hofhäusle there are some goodies to buy, apple liqueur, apple chios, ice cream, eggs and and and ... very fine! A little into the village, vlt 10 minutes walk, there is a local supermarket and also a really big organic market where mam gets everything to cater. There is also a gas station in town. It was a relaxing time for me as a mom in the I could enjoy a lot of peace wärend the kids through the meadows are gepest 🥰 pity that we were so short, but will probably come more often. In the Whitsun vacations schin we come back, this time with two more moms and a total of 6 kids and a baby ☀️☀️☀️ We can absolutely recommend Mellis Hof to all families! And say thank you and see you very soon already 🥰

The pitches are beautifully located, surrounded by flowering fruit trees and a beautiful landscape. The site is located in a quiet area. There is a barbecue area and a fireplace for common use. The sanitary facilities are as described simple, but neat and clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and would like to come again.

We had a great time at Melli and Patrick. The two are very endeavored hosts, there is a playground and a barbecue area, which we have used with pleasure. The pitches are next to an access road, which is driven by residents with cars and tractors. With our 3 year old children we were a bit careful here. In the vicinity you can discover a lot and we enjoyed the short time out very much.

That was really great here! Super nice place with lots of peace and great hiking trails directly from the pitch. The hosts were very friendly so we felt absolutely comfortable. The fire basket with free access to the firewood was also very pleasant. We also felt very comfortable with the neighborhood of a small calf and many ponies! Should we be in the area again, we will be very happy to come back!

We and our dogs felt very comfortable and are now really recovered. The great tips from Melli and Patrick for bakers, destinations and restaurants were super. We come back with pleasure.

Beautiful place for a relaxing weekend (or longer), very nice hosts. If you are mobile with bike or similar you can do a lot. But also long walks with dog you can easily make on site. A well-stocked supermarket with regional products is within walking distance.

The pitch is very suitable for exploring Lake Constance. The communication was very good and thereupon we were warmly welcomed. The site is not quite level, but with the provided drive-up wedges no problem. Thanks again for the hospitality.
Melli and Patrick with their children are great hosts and we enjoyed it very much to get to know this little corner of the world. Pure tranquility in beautiful nature. Very nice, quiet pitch under apple trees and right next to ponies and calves; super nice hosts who are visibly concerned about your guests. An entertaining evening around the campfire and a lovingly and creatively designed farm store round off our thoroughly enjoyable stay. Ideal starting point for bike tours to Lake Constance. Prior registration and wedges are recommended, electricity was available free of charge.

A very nice place with family Moll, electricity, water, shopping in the farm store, cool drinks, very nice and pleasant conversations with the hosts and other guests around the campfire. We felt very comfortable. In the village is a bakery and a restaurant. Good starting point for bike tours via Salem or Markdorf to Lake Constance.

We were for the second time with Melli and Patrick and were again thrilled! It was dreamlike to stand on this great place under the apple trees with a view of the ponies and the little calf. The hosts invited us to a cozy campfire in the evening, where you could warm yourself and have great conversations with the two and the other guests. Everything is so relaxed and uncomplicated. The farm store is also very lovingly designed and offers a great selection of apple juice, pasta, cheese, eggs,farm ice cream and much more. We will DEFINITELY be back!

As campers newcomers, we were very friendly reception. The choice of the place was made quickly and the view of a hilly meadow dreamlike. Through a technical glitch we could even stay one night longer :-)

1 week living under the apple trees - that was wonderful! Thank you dear Melli and Patrick for these beautiful days.we have felt very comfortable and that began with the fact that we were allowed to choose our own favorite place!How great!!! We had so much space and unproblematic access to water and electricity.we have enjoyed the days (and nights) at this quiet place, had nice conversations with you and have felt very comfortable and recovered very well! Also the good bakery and the many tours that we could make by bike have pleased us extremely well - we will definitely come back! Melli and your husband are very nice and concerned about your guests! We had only unfortunately some trouble with our place. Due to the long rain some depressions in the grass and difficult for a trailer to maneuver. Without Mover we would not have made it. Next time Melli assured us a more suitable place;) Thanks! We have learned to appreciate Lake Constance and this area very much! Thank you, dear Melli!
We were received very friendly and warmly by Melli and immediately felt welcome. Melli and her husband took care of us and left us wanting for nothing. In the neighboring village of Wittenhofen about 15 min walk, you can eat delicious in the Jägerstüble. Also recommended is the country bakery Baader. Delicious breakfast and clean toilet. Just around the corner you can even park with the camper on the parking lot of the swimming pool for free. Anyway, we had a great time among the apple trees and thank Melli and her family again. Even if we could not say goodbye personally. But we will definitely come back again. The area has so much to offer.
Beautiful place right on the edge of the apple orchards. Partly a bit uneven and difficult to level, wedges important, but also on site wooden wedges available which are large enough to level. Nearby a supermarket, in the next village (10 minutes walk) a bakery and a Netto. Very nice owners, care very much about your guests. Ponies very trusting, because on the outskirts and very quiet! Always gladly again!
We had 3 wonderful days here with blue skies in fruit tree idyll. The warmth of Melli and Patrick is overwhelming. Look already now in the appointment calendar, when we may come again. Tanja and Tommy

Mega nice and helpful hosts. Pitches directly between the fruit trees. Super cute little "shop" with delicious apple rings, great jam, hand cream....Absolut recommendable. Thank you very much for everything.

The place was completely overcrowded. According to the description, there were four spaces available, but when we arrived, there were about ten vehicles there and the hosts had trouble finding space for us. We were even "offered" to camp somewhere else for the night and come back the next day. The spot where we had to squeeze in did not match the description on the website and was right next to the residential building. We didn't get electricity until the next morning, and even then only from our neighbor camper who gave us his socket because he had left (we didn't meet the hosts in the morning and the garage with electricity was closed). Melanie offered to refund us for one night due to overcrowding, but when I wanted to confirm this with her and initiate the refund, we were told that we still had to pay 10 euros for water and electricity (which was not mentioned in the description on the website, where everything was included). That's just not acceptable! The hosts were helpful and friendly, but the description is completely inaccurate. And if there is a flat rate for electricity/water, then this must be clearly stated. We have discussed the situation and now only offer 5 parking spaces so that every camper has enough space to fully enjoy the charms of a countryside parking space and we can be there for every guest. We had a great stay with Melanie and Patrick. Very quiet place, right next to an apple tree (do not forget chocks). Water supply without problems after request to Melanie, electricity directly at the site. Melanie and Patrick are incredibly friendly people with whom we had great conversations. Will definitely come back soon :)
At Melanie and Patrick we were allowed to spend two days and nights under beautifully situated apple trees. The two warm hosts have ensured that we lacked nothing. We enjoyed the time very much and will be happy to come back.

First of all super nice hosts. Mel and her family are very relaxed people who are open and friendly. We had a self-sufficient place above the farm. Nice under trees and quiet location. We will definitely come again.
