A very beautiful and secluded spot; getting there is a bit of an adventure at first, but ultimately not too difficult. The sheep on the neighboring property are very curious but also a bit shy; the friendly “shepherd” was able to tell us a bit more about these trusting animals right away. Everything you could want is within walking distance, from a snack bar to a fantastic Italian restaurant!
It’s a wonderful place to take a quick break from everyday life and immerse yourself in nature and relaxation. With sheep and pheasants as neighbors. Easy and flexible check-in and check-out. Many thanks to Andreas for this lovely spot. We’d love to come back.
I stayed there alone from March 23, 2026, to March 25, 2026, and had a really wonderful time. The apple orchard is a wonderful place to unwind, with a great view of the Frankfurt skyline. The sheep right next door were absolutely adorable and made my stay even more special. Perfect for just taking a break—I highly recommend it!

We were able to find the pitch without any problems thanks to Andreas' instructions. We were in a wonderfully quiet spot between the trees and had very friendly sheep as neighbors. Everything was great!
A very nice, fully fenced-in area. There are bushes near the campsites; although we were the only ones there, you should still be able to enjoy some peace and quiet even if there are neighbors.
A very nice place, ideal for relaxing with your dog thanks to the complete fencing. The toilet block is brilliant and I hope that all travelers appreciate the place and treat it accordingly... The description of how to get there etc. was first class - unfortunately we didn't get to meet the landlord in person. The surrounding area is great for walks - you have to walk a bit to see the skyline though ;). All in all a great weekend and highly recommended! Thank you for sharing this little corner of the world with us, we will definitely be back!

A wonderful place to relax and dream. The toilet is super clean and decorated with love. The variety of animals is sensational. Even a garden dormouse wished us a good night. I can only warmly recommend this quiet spot. Thank you for letting us relax in your little paradise.
Beautiful little place. Arrival and everything without any problems. Great description in advance from Andreas with videos etc. I was here all alone for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The perfect break for me from Frankfurt. Just to stand there with my little Hermann (Vanderer) and enjoy the air, the sky and the flight and call of the red kite. I will definitely be back. We found Andreas to be a very easy-going and accommodating host :) Communication was super smooth and very friendly and we received all the necessary information about the location of the site etc. in advance. The plantation was a great, private place - we even had the opportunity to make a campfire and cute sheep as neighbors 🤩 We can recommend the place & Andreas with the best knowledge and conscience and would love to come back! ☺️

Super nice contact and very uncomplicated check-in via a combination lock. Andreas sent us all the important information in advance. The apple orchard is beautiful and really extremely quiet. A few sheep graze next door and you can see them from time to time. We will be back! :)

We really enjoyed the camp in the apple orchard. It was a great start to the camping season. With sheep, pheasants and birds of prey, you are right in the middle of nature here. Perfect for dog owners, there are lots of walks in the surrounding area. Contact was easy and all the necessary information was provided in advance. Absolutely recommendable!!!

This is the second time I've stayed at the beautiful apple orchard and had a wonderful short break there over the long weekend. As always, nice contact with the host via WhatsApp and on the site itself with the owner of the neighboring sheep. Simply a great place to relax and enjoy. I will definitely be back. Anyone looking for a pitch in this area should definitely spend the night at this super beautiful orchard. The ground is level, the entrance is easy to reach and Andreas has prepared everything perfectly. A variety of excursions with short travel times can be undertaken from here. An absolute recommendation from us.

Thank you very much for the great place next to sheep where fox and hare say good night. The airplanes make a lot of noise but at night that is also through, night flight ban. It was a beautiful short vacation, wonderful nature, Andreas is a super nice host and the description in advance is absolutely great and helpful. Hello, We were here at the beginning of June with our 7 year old son and our two dogs. The pitch was just perfect for us. Everything was nicely fenced in so that the dogs of the walkers were not with us, there was a simple but clean toilet with a possibility to wash your hands. The contact with the host was totally uncomplicated and very nice. We will definitely be back because we really liked this little idyllic spot. Oh, the only thing I might have to complain about, real firewood which is at least dry for the next campfire would be very nice. 😅
Andreas responds quickly and with all the necessary information. The site is a little oasis in the middle of the fields of the Vortaunus. I will definitely be back.
It was just great, we had a great day with Andreas. The information you get from him is all very helpful. However, I would have considered the information that you might have to reckon with someone walking across the green here and there important, because we were sometimes scared when a car came through the gate and then went to the neighbor ... who is also very nice and where we were allowed to cuddle sheep immediately. It is also worth mentioning that there is also a toilet, but we didn't use it as we had our own.

Super location central in the Rhine-Main area, quiet and idyllic between apple trees - you feel (almost 😄) like in South Tyrol! Very good: the timely comprehensive (remote) briefing by Andreas, who also responds very quickly to other questions. Gladly again and again!
Mega great short break under the open sky. Campfire with stick bread, a good wine and with the right people in a special place - that's all it takes to be happy. We will definitely do it again ❤️

We were guests at the small apple orchard for two nights and felt very comfortable! We had endless space and for our cats it was great that the property is fenced! As a bonus we were allowed to cuddle and feed sheep. Communication was great and absolutely no complications! We will be happy to come back (and then enjoy the skyline view, which this time was covered by the corn 😉). Many thanks to Andreas!

A really nice place. Many and detailed info on how to get there and quick answers to inquiries. The location is wonderful with views of the Frankfurt skyline and quiet. There is a dry separation toilet, which we gladly used (and then cleaned of course). There is also a fire bowl, but we did not use it. Overall, really wonderful, from the contact with Andreas to the place itself. Even our dog found the place (which, by the way, is fenced all around) super, we will certainly come again :).

Between the apple trees you can wonderfully switch off and forget the world around. The place is top maintained and the bio toilet already real camping luxury 😉. Communication with Andreas was great: he responded quickly to questions and the arrival was prepared flawlessly (location, directions, etc.) I can only recommend the spot!
It was a great experience. Starting with super relaxed communication and uncomplicated handling, we ended up in a little paradise. We were able to forget everyday life and enjoy the beautiful nature even in the short time on site. The place and the host are simply to recommend. Top!!!
Grandiose place, very well maintained and quiet
Was a great weekend on the pitch. We used it for a day trip to Frankfurt. Good connection with public transport directly to Frankfurt main station. In the evening we enjoyed the peace and quiet at the campfire and visited the shepherd with his sheep.
A very nice, idyllic place between apple trees, dog-proof fenced, so that man and dogs could relax. From the site there are beautiful paths for walking through flowering fields. The skyline of Frankfurt is especially in the evening an eye-catcher; aircraft from FRA to see, but i.d.R. barely audible. Andreas has organized everything in advance super, was not there during our stay, but from a distance always available if anything would have been unclear ... but it was not! Minimal drawback for dog owners whose dogs are not jederhunds friend (like mine): at the property passes a walking path, which is phasenweise frequented by not always intelligent or considerate dog owners higher. But since for dog walking probably German standard times apply, one could also very well avoid these people and everything was peaceful. We still felt really comfortable!
We really enjoyed the one night here. It is a really nice place. The communication with Andreas was top. We will be happy to come again.
Unexpectedly beautiful pitch in the green between apple trees and contact with sheep (and shepherd). Starry sky and skyline of Mainhattan -all as promised! The surroundings in the Taunus are ideal for cycling, delicious bakery on the morning jog around the fields and apple orchard(s) can also be found in the village. More "Hinterlandcamp" does not go...

Beautiful place and very helpful host
We had a wonderful night with Andreas at the apple orchard . Everything went smoothly. We were awakened in the morning by grazing sheep. With dog it is perfect here because everything is fenced. A big thank you to Andreas, he still took us in even though he closes at the end of October. We can't thank you enough for this wonderful experience. We will definitely be back for the opening 🥰

How we love it: In the middle of nature, nice walking paths for the dogs,no frills, few people, no noise. The place between the apple trees is really nice. We had a very nice evening and a quiet night. Great fireplace and even with wood! From time to time walkers with dogs come by, that has disturbed us minimally. So you are not completely alone there. Service and directions were great! Andreas is available and happy to help, absolutely uncomplicated.

A great pitch gem with fireplace and separation toilet (but I have not needed). The coordination with Andi was top, totally uncomplicated and super reliable - I come back in any case gladly 😃 in the place gibts prima possibilities to stock up for a cozy barbecue with fresh things (farm store with butcher and supermarkets) or to go out to eat.
Great place for a break, unexpected greenery nearby, perfect for short bike rides. Excellent directions, I'll be happy to come back.
It was simply wonderful. A very wonderful place to relax. The apple trees are in bloom and it is possible to turn a relaxed round over the fields. We were there with dogs, who also visibly enjoyed it. Here and there someone greeted over the fence and it came to nice conversations. This was certainly not our last visit. Highly recommended. Arrive, feel good, switch off and relax. It is hard to imagine a more beautiful and idyllic place to stand freely. Everything is just right here. Starting from the super nice and uncomplicated communication in advance to the great cozy site with fireplace and the great toilet house. Actually, I must not make so much advertising. Because I will come again and of course hope that the place is not fully booked every weekend ;-) Thank you, Andreas - for everything. The weekend was pure deceleration. You can not recover better !
Great little time out just around the corner. You stand in a beautiful orchard just outside Frankfurt. There is a nice fireplace and some wood. Beautiful walks across the fields possible. Directions unproblematic and very well described. Nice host. (I have not used the toilet, but everything looked great) I'll be back.
Unfortunately, we did not get to know Andreas personally. But we were well informed about everything and he kept in touch, was always available. The place is beautiful in the midst of apple trees blooming at the time. Lovingly equipped with a dry separation toilet and fireplace. Everything you need is there and well prepared. Our first stay at Hinterland was a great start. We almost found the place thanks to the video description of Andreas ;). We had to check again briefly with a local resident to reach our destination: An idyllic little place in the middle of the fruit trees including a fire bowl and firewood awaited us. The background noise was kept within limits despite the proximity to the highway, so we could sleep well.
Super uncomplicated, beautiful pitch (incl. beautiful Toillettenhäuschen) - also the whole handover was very simple and smooth, including approach videos. Can be recommended without reservation (and bring a roof terrace to enjoy the view of the skyline fully / even more ;-))
A very nice place in nature, lovingly made and furnished and the natural toilet works wonderfully and was very clean! Andreas was also super accessible and has sent a nice "approach video" in advance ;-)
Very friendly and helpful host. There is very clean Trenn WC and Andreas has still extra a mirror attached as well as provided for water. Also for night small solar lights for orientation on the pitch ... Super! Place for bicycle tour to the city center well suited. Despite freeway proximity quiet place.

Hotel Andreas' apple plantation' deserves 5 stars + :) Such a beautiful, relaxing and wonderful place. From arrival, with great directions, to departure, everything was wonderful. The place is super secluded and especially at night you have a wonderful view of the Frankfurt skyline. Andreas takes care of wonderful and is always available. We are already planning to come back.

"I will be back" :-) 5 min drive over the dirt road and you feel 100% in the hinterland. Completely quiet, only "green" around. Super well-kept grounds, toilet "cleverly" hidden behind the tree. Fire bowl for campfire is ready. Tip: if you park the bus properly you can see the skyline of Frankfurt from its pop-up roof over the open meadow. Directions could not be better. All in all, a super recommendation "who just wants to get out".

A beautiful, lovingly designed place to unwind. Around us nothing but fields and trees. Already the driveway is a little adventure and gives you the feeling of freedom. Andreas was a super nice host and was always available with advice and support - answered questions very quickly and friendly. The fire pit was really nice and the new separation toilet was of course again a super bonus. It felt like we were the first "users" - that's how clean it was and we hope it stays that way and that Andrea's efforts are appreciated. We would come back anytime, watching the butterflies during the day as well as sitting comfortably by the fire in the evening with a good wine (from the very friendly wine merchant in about 10 minutes walking distance). A beautiful, well-kept and quiet place surrounded by fruit trees and fields. You are awakened in the morning by the rooster and not by the noise of the street. Here we were not the last time. Nice quiet corner. Not for thick liners, perfect for vans, panel vans and compact semi-integrated. We would stay there again any time! Contact with the provider went absolutely flawless, everything at a fair price in my opinion!
Andreas has a great orchard, very quiet and cozy. With a view of the skyline, walks along fields and meadows are possible. Not a km away is a supermarket if something is missing. Great directions! It was a nice weekend, thank you very much!

Great place in the middle of the Rhein Main area. Nevertheless very quiet. Two pitches in a fenced area. Very good with dog. Nice walking paths through the fields. View of the Frankfurt skyline. Fireplace available. The access road can be mastered even with caravans. Andreas as a host only to recommend. Thank you for this little paradise.
You can hardly believe it, so close to Frankfurt and yet you are on the apple orchard all to yourself. If you would not hear very quietly in the distance the bells from the church tower, you could forget that the next village is only a few 100 meters away as the crow flies. You can walk prima on the field paths and has, if you want also beautiful excursion opportunities, such as: the Roman Castle Saalburg (about 30 min by car / MoMo). So we liked it super well! Also, there were really hardly any mosquitoes, so you could stay outside until late in the evening. We will definitely come again, not least because the correspondence with Andreas was very pleasant and straightforward!
we thank Andreas for providing this corner of paradise. We really enjoyed the solitude, tranquility and nature there. Pheasants and birds did not tire of greeting us. The place was great, we had exactly what we wanted. Relaxation and enjoyment! The directions were also a wonderful experience and increased the anticipation of our domicile. As firstlings we wanted to book directly a self-sufficient place....which is beautiful here. Rabbits, pheasants, nature and the skyline of Frankfurt.... enchanting. Andreas is fast, helpful and very nice. Also tried to help from a distance because we got stuck. Highly recommended! We will gladly come back again without rain👌😊

Communication with Andreas was super easy and he guided us perfectly to the dream place with pictures and video material. We would have liked to stay longer in this beautiful orchard and will definitely come back next year. Wonderfully quiet and standing in the middle of nature was perfect for those who can stand completely self-sufficient. From there we did a great bike ride to the Main. Highly recommended.
The parking space on the Gütle under the apple trees was just great. In addition, there was a great view of the skyline of Frankfurt. From the Gütle you also had a good running round and was quickly on the Main or Rhine. We can only recommend this place. The communication with Andreas was always fast and problem-free. You get exactly what is described in the ad. If you, yourself and your camper in nature is enough, you are exactly right with Andreas at the apple orchard. We were received very friendly and we still had our peace. We had a few very relaxing days there.
