Simply WOW! We were looking for a place to stay overnight at the last minute and came across this spot. It was one of the highlights of our trip! We were able to book it at the very last minute (thank you so much for that). Once we arrived, we were simply blown away by the scenery, the peace and quiet, and the location. If you’re looking to escape the stress of everyday life, this is the perfect place. We’ll be back!

It's wonderful there. Complete peace and quiet, a beautiful view, and a great spot to park (no deep potholes or bumps). We'll definitely be back, and we'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Markus for letting us stay there for two nights.

There’s nothing but good things to say about this wonderful campsite. The location is perfect—it’s quiet and secluded. The directions are clearly described, and the view is also wonderful. The residents of the village below are also very helpful. We had trouble with our car battery, and they helped us right away.

Wonderful large pitch with a great view! You are completely on your own! We also had very nice contact with Markus' father and would love to come back! Coming from the highway: do not turn off in the village and drive up the mountain, but only a little outside on the country road at the bus stop

We spent a very relaxing weekend there. If you can be self-sufficient and are only satisfied with the nature around you, this is the place for you. We, a couple with a dog, really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. The owner came by once for a nice chat and then let us enjoy the weekend in peace. Everything was very uncomplicated, just the way we like it. Access via the north, after the bridge over the Bogenbach, turn left uphill. Google Maps led us to the farm from the south, but this route leads along a hiking trail! Our conclusion: So far the best place we have found in Hinterland. Many thanks to the owner for making this special place available.

As described, a romantic secluded location for self-sufficient travelers. We spent two quiet nights. It is certainly even more beautiful in summer. The hike through the Perlbach valley up to the Bu chaberg is recommended. Also very suitable as a rest stop from or to the Czech Republic.

Beautiful pitch surrounded by nature, small streams and great walking paths. Water available from a spring. For less sunny spring days, a power socket would be desirable ;-). We would love to come back. Thanks to the host for providing such a great place.

Very nice pitch in a secluded location! It was also really great for our dogs. In the evening, the farmer mowed the meadows directly around the pitch, which took an hour. As we were just in the camper, it was completely ok. We would love to come back.

Very nice quiet place. Unfortunately, mushroom pickers and hikers come by from time to time, but that can't be avoided ;-) Nice clear spring for water supply, so a week's vacation was no problem. The driveway is a bit steeper than the pictures suggest, but we got up well with a van and caravan over 14m long and then around the bend at the top. Gladly again.

A dream. With the spring you have everything you need. We were thrilled. A little tip: Behind the house, to the west, a path leads upwards - if you feel thirsty for fresh coffee, you just have to look for a half-open and roofed wooden building. A nice couple looks after their garden there and offers drinks for hikers etc. (5min, approx. 200m away)

We were passing through and were looking for a nice quiet place to spend the night. The site is beautifully situated in the countryside and very well maintained. Absolutely top for our requirements. We would be happy to stay here again at any time.

If you are self-sufficient and love going it alone - perfect! We will be back!

We spent one night here with a caravan. The ambience and the landscape... unique. I can confirm the information given about the gradient and the towing vehicle. The directions are great and should also be followed.

This is our second time staying at Markus beautiful spot, it will always be breath taking and absolute amazing, but this time we felt quite uncomfortable everyday we had the farmers on top cutting the grass, that we had to constantly keep our dog closed up, In the morning they would come in the afternoon they would come and at 10 at night when we would go to sleep they would come, and this was over the space of five days the sixth day they came with all their machines about six of them and they sat right Infront of us drinking and visiting for about 40 to 50 minutes, our dog was going completely crazy and was freaked out by all the machinery and we felt very uncomfortable, we decided then to cut our trip short and head home the next day. We really loved this spot but this time it was not a very good experience nor secluded or private.

a 10 out of 10 ! What a great place! The approach is very steep but paved ... at the top of the hill you stand beautifully in front of the old farm and can relax. The village is a 1.5km walk through the forest. We will definitely be back. Markus - thank you for sharing this great place with other people :)

Our first night in the camper with three dogs was a wonderful memory! An infinitely beautiful piece of earth and freshly mown, wonderful peace and quiet, it couldn't have been better. We had super nice contact with Franz. All in all, we will definitely be back and not just for one night. Future campers, please take your garbage with you and stow it in the toilet, as well as the dog owners, everyone has the poop bags with them, some container where you can collect the leftovers.

If you are looking for nature, tranquility, a secluded location and a great panorama, you will be happy here. Great hiking trails and bike tours are also available. We will definitely come again. Beautiful special place for completely autharke guests. Steep approach, but it was no problem with our Fiat Campervan.

It was once again a very nice WE at this beautiful spot. I was now already the 3rd time here - I think that says it all ;-). Only one request to the dog owners who were here before us and still come, but please take the droppings of your four-legged friends. I have collected on arrival only once dog excrement and very many dog hairs and taken away. I am a dog owner myself and therefore I also had poop bags with me and I do not mind collecting, but I do not know how people would see that who do not have a dog.

I actually don't know where to start and stop..... So The contact with Markus was great Quick response here /per WhatsApp/ and by phone. Had us completely lost and Markus has navigated us by phone to the place 👍👍 Thanks again for that We were allowed to meet the father of Markus Also super super nice And the very best was that he told us very much about the farm .... He himself has lived there until he was 15 years old. The farm is recently under monument protection Therefore, please make sure to leave the place as you found it. It is beautiful and quiet here and enough space for man and dog 🐕 The small spring is great to cool down on warm days I could write much much more only positive that would however blow up the place here This place would actually deserve 5 stars to the power of 325 incl. host of course..... As our time permits we come here again guaranteed Unfortunately, it is about 400 km from us 🤨 Once again a big thank you to Markus and his father One more thing in the end The last piece to terrain is actually a bit steep For the one or other larger motorhome very sporty For guests who want to arrive with caravan is said... Beautiful, quiet place with a great view. The meadow is well maintained (there is no trash lying around and the meadow is mowed short). Only the cell phone network (O2) has not played along, but this has not bothered me personally. The contact with Markus was very uncomplicated. I always got a quick answer to my questions. I will definitely come back soon!

The contact with Markus was very uncomplicated and friendly. The spot was really mega great in ruihger beautiful location and the old farm made it of course really nice rustic. If now a small campfire site would be there, it would be hard to beat, although I can also understand if you say it is too dangerous. Otherwise, also for children absolutely class, can there nice rumfetzen. As a tip for others who come in the summer, the tent meadow is actually the whole day in the blazing sun, but you can look for shade on the field path / forest edge or apple tree.

Would not like to rate at all, otherwise book Too many 😉 Really unique place with great views, spring, beautiful hiking rods and very sympathetic hosts! Attention to all dog owners, there is a lot of game. Master lamp was eager to get into our camp 😆 We will be happy to come back! Vg. Stephan

Dreamlike place. Who is looking for peace and seclusion is exactly right here, only the street noise has disturbed the idyll a bit. For dog owners there is no better place. Great hiking possibilities. Somewhat steep approach, for large wide mobile or large caravans rather not suitable. For our Womo (7 meters) it was no problem. Nice contact with the host, questions were answered immediately.

The contact with Markus was super friendly, we immediately had the feeling to be really welcome. The property is very hidden and for a caravan the steep road is a real challenge. However, this is loosely resumed by the absolute peace and quiet you have. Also the dogs had their fun. Who loves nature and silence is exactly right on this place. Super nice area, pure nature. Super view. Steep approach. With van no problem, but have also managed with our 7.5 m part. Nice phone contact with Markus, had us lost and were brought back on track. Thank you Markus.
