The site is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Breitenfeld. However, there is no view of either the Mittelland Canal or the Aller Canal. This is also evident if you check Google Maps beforehand. Otherwise, the parking area has two spots under trees with gravel surfaces for the cars, separated by bushes. These spots were newly laid out by Christian, meaning that when we were there, they couldn’t be used yet because the grass had just been seeded. But that wasn’t a big deal, since we were the only ones there. One spot is in the sun. The parking area is very well signposted, so you can drive there even if Christian isn’t there. From the parking area, you can go on bike rides in the Drömling or along the Mittelland Canal.
Very nice pitch in the middle of nature with birdsong. Directly on the Allerkanal and not far from the Mittellandkanal. A nearby railroad line we hardly noticed. Bicycle tours are highly recommended. Very warm welcome by Christian and his partner with their new pitch. We will be happy to come back.
