It was an absolutely fantastic trip for me! The site is great, and the family is very friendly and accommodating. We were able to build a fire, and there was water and electricity. A truly idyllic garden, and the location is perfect for a long hike! I highly recommend it—I’d definitely camp here again. Thanks for the great time!
It was incredibly lovely at Susanne and Ulli’s :) A wonderfully picturesque, huge garden with a cozy little corner for guests; with chickens, bees, and a cat, as well as a breathtaking starry sky. On top of that, there wasn’t just a super-clean dry toilet, but also a shower, sink, electricity, a sofa in the cozy construction trailer, and—upon request—a table, chair, and umbrella. I felt so warmly welcomed, and everything was so nice and hassle-free—simply wonderful! It was my first time using Hinterland, but I don’t think it’ll be easy to top this experience 😉 I’d love to come back!
Our first overnight stay in the countryside—and a complete success right off the bat! We owe it all to Susanne and Uli, who welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. Their hospitality was truly exceptional. We especially loved the delicious breakfast with honey from their own beehives in the garden—you don’t get something that special every day! The garden itself is a little paradise: beautifully landscaped to blend with nature, and in the evening we even got to watch fireflies—a magical moment. Add to that the wonderful tranquility of the place, which really invites you to unwind. We wanted for nothing—it really doesn’t get any better than this! Thank you so much for everything, Susanne & Uli! If we’re ever back in the region, we’d love to stay with you again. ☺️
Everything went really well. The landlords were very friendly and helpful.
We used Hinterland for the first time and were pleasantly surprised! We received a friendly welcome and everything went very smoothly. The area is nice and quiet and cozy! Two super hosts where you would like to come back!
Once again we had a very relaxing time with Susanne and Ulli in their beautiful garden. Nothing was missing and the two were very accommodating. We would love to come back!

If you are looking for peace and quiet and hospitable hosts, this is the right place for you and I slept very comfortably in the cozy trailer. Absolutely recommended for hiking and looking for peace and quiet! Thanks again for the fresh eggs and honey! I would love to come back! There were even eggs and honey,
Our first experience with Hinterland was very positive. A fantastic place in the Weserbergerland with enough facilities to feel comfortable even with a small tent. Friendly owners who give you the privacy you need, but we also had a nice beer with them. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderfully quiet and relaxing weekend in Susanne and Uli's great garden. Our tent was under apple trees, next to the chickens and near the great outhouse. We can unreservedly recommend this place and would go there again ourselves at any time. LG, Alexandra and Christian.
