Such a beautiful place—we'll definitely be back.
Our stay with Claudia was perfect. After some initial difficulty finding the spot, Claudia was very kind in helping us. The grass was about 20 cm tall in early May, but we were allowed to drive over it. That was great for our tent and the dogs. The access to the stream and the immediate surroundings were clean—we didn’t see any plastic waste or anything like that. Our recommendation for other campers: Pack sunscreen and insect repellent. The sun shines on the meadow all day long, and there are many ticks, especially along the banks of the stream.

We are very disappointed. Unfortunately, we can’t comment on the property itself. But when it came to the cancellation process and how it was handled, we were unfortunately left hanging. It’s a real shame. Hello, Claudia gave us a friendly welcome and explained everything to us. We were allowed to choose our own pitch on the meadow. If you are looking for a place to relax and go for a walk, this is the place for you. Despite the thunderstorm and rain at night, we got off the meadow safely. We would love to come back! The site is definitely worth a visit. A very spacious area with a free choice of pitches. And the whole thing is far away from vehicle noise and other noises. So you can enjoy nature to the full. Thank you again with pleasure. Keep up the good work.
An absolutely fantastic pitch that fits the "Hinterland" concept! Really totally secluded, if there hadn't been a post office vehicle in front of us we wouldn't have thought there was another house 😅 The location right by the river was totally idyllic and even the tall grass didn't bother us... we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the water and the chirping of the birds. The peace and seclusion made for real relaxation. In addition, the hosts were super nice and would have mowed a piece of meadow for us if we had asked. All in all, as advertised: a real insider tip for anyone looking for nature and relaxation! We will definitely be back!
Anyone looking for the hinterland will find it here! We had very nice hosts and free choice of pitch on a huge meadow, nestled in a wonderful forest where you can go for a great hike. There was plenty of firewood in the forest. We had 2 very relaxing days and would love to come back! We absolutely cannot understand the negative reviews, if you are looking for nature you have to get along with it.
We stayed for one night and was fantastic. Very quiet location. Hosts were super nice and helpful.
I thought long and hard about whether I should write a review, but somehow it has to be said: I didn't like it at all. The grass was over a meter high on the meadow. Although the pitch was designated for cars with roof tents, it was unusable due to the high grass. I don't expect golf turf and I don't shy away from ticks and mosquitoes either, but this wasn't possible at all. I couldn't even drive to the hut described. I ended up standing in the parking lot of the neighbouring vacation apartment, just as well that the guests hadn't arrived yet. You can also hear the A72, which is 1.2 km away, so I was quieter there. I didn't need electricity and water, and I don't expect that on a meadow. But the price of 28€/night is really too high for the service offered. In my opinion, the promise was not kept by any stretch of the imagination. The communication with Claudia, on the other hand, was good and prompt, I have nothing to complain about. Response from the host: Hello Lisa, we are sorry to read your disappointment. Based on your feedback, we have now described the Wildwiese in more detail for everyone. But why didn't you talk to us? We always keep a pitch directly in front of the small wooden hut mowed for campers who want electricity. If you want it quieter and more secluded, you can drive your car / camper to the meadow and enjoy your piece of relaxation. Take courage! The meadow provides a wonderful view and a piece of wilderness. Our wild meadow is only mowed twice a year to maintain and increase the species population. You can sometimes hear the highway about 1 km away when the wind comes from the northeast, that's true. We are located in a small forest on the western edge of Saxony, not in Canada. However, a pitch right next to a stream offers relaxation and a wonderful soundscape. Maybe next time? Then please talk to us and we'll find your favorite spot on our large meadow together. Our stay was very pleasant. The hosts were very friendly and the pitches were nice and clean. The location is quiet and secluded everything you can imagine under camping. Ps : it would be nice if all guests camping there would take their plastic waste with them and not throw it into the stream, everyone can do something for the environment and it would be a shame if it didn't remain a nice clean place. We will definitely be back!
Were already the second time there and it was again really nice. We will definitely come more often. The location is top and Claudia and Jörn very nice. Our children also like it very much and are outside all day.

Quietness and solitude. It was very relaxing. Unfortunately, it has not worked with the water for our tank and we could then just not rinse and have rinsed our things at the next stop on our trip

Unfortunately our experience with the campsite was not so good. We had some difficulties to find the place, not signposted. I called because the owner was not at home. The first time the contact with the owner was very nice. Unfortunately we didn't know for sure if the place where we were standing was right and where we could connect electricity and water. The second time we called there was no answer and as we were traveling with two small children we decided to drive on as it was getting late and we still had to pitch a tent. I left a message for the owner and asked him to transfer the money back. Unfortunately, I have not received any feedback regarding the money to date. I have also not received a refund. What a pity! The surroundings were very beautiful and the site, if we had the right one 🤷♀️ was located by the river and looked good. The grass was very high for camping. But as I said, we don't know if it was the right one. Host's reply: Hello Julia, we're sorry to read that. In our correspondence you can read again where and how you can find us on the meadow and also that our neighbors would have liked to help you find your favorite place on on our large meadow. We were ourselves in the one hour of your arrival on the water and could not be reached by phone during those minutes. The bad weather on that day probably influenced your decision to travel on and not camp. Maybe it will work out another time. However, your assessment is not fair and a great pity for us. Very beautiful, quiet and especially natural area. The communication went flawlessly. Claudia is very nice and a real feast for the eyes. However, beware of ticks in the high grass by the stream.
Beautiful pitch away from houses and roads. Just perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. Only the birds and the stream can be heard. Good hiking opportunity.

A very great and quiet location, totally natural and wonderful to relax and walk in the forest and across meadows. The small stream makes it even more complete. The communication was uncomplicated and very friendly. Definitely to recommend.

Very idyllic place, super beautiful nature. Away from civilization 😊. Children can play nicely by the stream. Walks possible directly from the place. Village with cafe well accessible on foot through the forest. Thank you very much, we will be happy to come back!

The place is or would be actually very idyllic, if I had not then stood directly on the path next to parked cars (this area was mowed). Unfortunately, the hosts were not reachable by cell phone and unfortunately not on site, so that I was in no way clear where to stand. The "large meadow", which was probably meant, was completely overgrown with knee-high grass. That's great, if only there was a mowed aisle to give you some orientation. Since this is on a creek, I didn't want to end up in the mire without a briefing. Too bad, with better communication or agreement, certainly a nice place.

The pitch is located in a really idyllic, quiet location, surrounded by forest and is run by very friendly hosts. There is a lot of space on a large, flat meadow. The electricity connection was also no problem. Quick to reach by car is via the highway among other things Chemnitz. Who wants to relax and enjoy nature, is here at the right address.

After the Navi has brought us in the middle of the forest, we have fortunately found the pitch thanks to the nice and helpful host.we could choose the place on a large meadow. There was pure nature and tranquility to enjoy to escape from the daily grind. In this area you can also go for a walk when it's not raining. Unfortunately, we had not been so lucky with the weather and still made the best of it in the rain-free times.Our daughter found the time very great because she could play with the children of the host family.
