The place was just as described. Plenty of space, a quiet green meadow. Kathrin gave me a very warm, personal welcome and was very concerned about my well-being. I felt very comfortable there.
The second stop at Kathrin's was even better than the first. We got fresh bread rolls and eggs from Kathrin's chickens straight to the camper in the morning. Legendary! Unfortunately, we were not yet able to take advantage of the animal hike offered for the kids. So we will have to come back again ;) Thank you very much and best regards!
Very, very nice contact, unfortunately we couldn't meet in person (yet) but everything worked out great on the phone. Very detailed directions, well-maintained, quiet property on the outskirts of the village and very hospitable hostess. We will be back in a few days :)

Kathrin gave us a wonderful stay. The meadow was freshly mowed, Kathrin was always available, gave us some tips on the surrounding area and there were also two pieces of fresh cake. We were there for one night. It is quite quiet at night. During the day there is some traffic on the side road. But on the whole you are quite undisturbed. We would gladly stay again...
It was a very nice time out in the countryside next to a cornfield. Kathrin is a very caring and friendly hostess, we wanted for nothing. Kathrin gave us valuable tips so that we could plan our excursions wisely. The campsite is perfectly located between Erfurt and Weimar. Our second visit to this pitch was also extremely relaxing. You can always find a shady pitch here in summer and Kathrin's service is great.
Kathrin is an incredibly great and helpful woman and the property is in a beautiful location. And even within walking distance of a pretty reservoir. We will definitely be back.
We spent the night in Kathrin's meadow. We really had our peace and quiet and were able to watch the fox and hare saying goodnight. In the morning we were woken up by the sun as we didn't have to close the windows to prevent prying eyes. Another highlight is Kathrin herself. She is super hospitable and also tries to accommodate requests. In my case, it was gluten-free bread from the bakery in the neighboring village. We hope that this great place will be preserved and that guests will respect it and leave it tidy. Dear Kathrin, thank you for making this possible.
Kathrin is not only a soul of a person, but also a loving and devoted hostess who reads every wish from your lips. We felt very comfortable and will not have been with her for the last time!!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!!
I had a very nice stay with Kathrin. She is super nice and takes great care of her guests, as she has often said, and makes every effort to ensure a wonderful stay :) The site is situated in such a way that you can watch a great sunset in the evening. Highly recommended!

Kathrin gave us a warm welcome and is very concerned about the well-being of her guests. Really very personable 😊 The meadow is as described. Every now and then a car drives past or dogs go for a walk with their masters. So you really have your peace and quiet. It's not far to the shops and there are short and long walks. Really recommended 😃👍
We had a lovely stay with Kathrin. The place is super nice and there is enough space. We particularly liked the fact that Kathrin made every effort to make our stay as uncomplicated as possible from the moment we booked, from arrival to tips for the surrounding area. We felt very well looked after. Thank you Kathrin, also for the delicious Easter eggs. :)
If you are looking for a quiet, scenic and spacious pitch with a super nice and caring hostess, this is the place for you. Weimar and Erfurt are in the immediate vicinity, the highway can be reached quickly and a cycle path runs alongside the pitch. This is the ideal place to relax.
The hostess is super nice and helpful. The meadow was as stated in the description. The bike path to Erfurt and Weimar leads directly past the meadow, the night was very quiet and in the morning we were awakened by the twittering of birds.
We spent three nights on Kathrin's meadow. The meadow is a dream. Pure nature. Kathrin is a very lovely and attentive hostess. She gave us mega great restaurant tips and excursion tips for Weimar, Erfurt and Jena. The next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.
A warm-hearted, gracious hostess with freshly harvested tomatoes as a welcome gift greeted us well after sunset and led us to the meadow. An idyllic spot with a sweeping view of the countryside.

We can warmly recommend Kathrin as a hostess. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our pitch, which is beautifully situated on a flowering meadow under trees on the edge of a field with a view into the distance and of the Ettersberg. And if you need anything, you can always turn to Kathrin. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much!!!
A wonderful place - incredibly quiet, a great expanse, idyllically situated in the middle of nature. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Kathrin is super nice and gave me a warm welcome and offered me help if I needed anything. She gave me great tips for Weimar. I was only here for one night - but I felt comfortable and safe and would come back any time. Many thanks dear Kathrin.

We can definitely recommend an overnight stay at Kathrins Wiese without reservation. Very idyllically situated in the countryside with absolute peace and quiet and yet an ideal starting point for exploring Weimar or Erfurt. Kathrin is a very warm and helpful hostess. If we are ever in the area again, we will gladly come back!
Nice and very helpful contact. I stood alone on the meadow and enjoyed it. The proximity to the highway is given and partly to hear. I would stay here again.
The pitch as described. Very basic meadow, self-sufficient campers have an advantage. But totally great for one night, even for us with 4 kids and a big tent. There was enough space for the two older children to camp "on their own" in the separate small tent. The biggest bonus, however, was Kathrin's great helpfulness, which definitely deserves special mention here. Thank you very much for all the tips, the organization and the great humanity!

Katrin is a very friendly hostess and even welcomed us with cake. The meadow offers a beautiful view of the fields. Internet was very good. There are animals nearby. We were able to buy delicious jam and eggs from Katrin.
Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but it was really nice and we would love to come back. The place is spacious and idyllic and Kathrin is a very friendly and helpful hostess who has good tips in store. Thank you very much!

I had a wonderful stay on Kathrin's meadow. It was very quiet and absolutely relaxed. The pitch is very large and there is more than enough space. I came with a roof tent and we had a wonderful time. I would book here again at any time.

Kathrin's meadow is perfectly located for relaxed camping between Erfurt and Weimar. We were warmly welcomed and were then able to choose our pitch on the meadow. We also got great tips from Kathrin and she kept asking if we needed anything. Very nice to go for a walk with the dog and close to both cities to explore.
Unfortunately, we couldn't drive to the campsite as we had to cancel. However, the contact with Kathrin was very friendly, helpful and quick. We will try out the Pkatz in the event of a cancellation.

Kathrin is a really very nice hostess. She cares very much about the well-being of her guests. For us, she would have even mowed the lawn if we had not been able to ☺️. She also offered that we can call anytime with problems or if we need something. Very good communication. The location is really top, you have your peace. The place is as described. From time to time a few cyclists and walkers come by but that is not bad. I can only recommend this location.
Perfect great meadow with lots of peace and privacy. We were completely alone and for the first time had the great camping feeling of being alone in nature with the van.

The site is located quietly next to fields and yet centrally, within only 15 minutes both Erfurt, as well as Weimar can be reached easily. The hostess is super sweet and we felt well taken care of. She even offered us to get bread rolls!
Very nice, cozy place on a meadow between rape field and hardly traveled agricultural road. Easy to reach and beautiful location as a starting point for excursions to Erfurt, Weimar and other surrounding cities worth seeing, as well as bicycle or motorcycle tours. Owner Kathrin is not just pitch landlady, but GUEST, gives tips, lends the guidebook and in cold nights also a freshly washed bedspread ("You are my guests and I want you to be well!"). The open meadow of Kathrin is located on the outskirts of a small village, surrounded by large fields, framed by a farm - and bike path. Super central between Weimar and Erfurt. Both cities are very easy to reach by bike, the bike path goes virtually directly past the meadow. We were very warmly welcomed and could choose a place on the meadow. Kathrin is a very nice hostess and provided us with many good tips. She even offered to bring us fresh rolls in the morning. The proximity to the B7 is great from a traffic point of view, could perhaps disturb a bit depending on the wind direction, but was not a problem for us. Overall, we recommend the place with pleasure, thank you for two wonderful sunny days in April !
