Carsten and his family make you feel like you're in the middle of nature. The large property invites you to relax and enjoy! I like the whole family, who make contact possible, but also respect my privacy very much and always like to come back!
We received a very friendly welcome from the family at the small forest behind the house. There are lots of toys and we were able to use a relaxed sitting area for bad weather. We felt very comfortable. Toilet is in the house and we were also allowed to use electricity - thank you!!!
We immediately felt very comfortable with Carsten and his family! We were given a very warm welcome and the place by the small forest was simply wonderful. There is plenty of seating (also covered) and our daughters had lots of toys at their disposal and even a playmate. The area is very beautiful and there was plenty for us to discover (fairy caves, open-air museum). If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come around;)
Carsten and his family are lovely. I received such a warm welcome and was completely free to decide where I wanted to stand on their property. I would love to come back! Thank you so much!!!❤️

We were warmly welcomed by very kind hosts and immediately felt very comfortable. Our daughter also fell in love with the idyllic place straight away. Absolutely recommendable! The hosts are very accommodating and absolutely uncomplicated. Finally, we would like to thank Carsten and his lovely family for the very nice time and see you next time ;)
Very nice quiet place. Everything you need was there (electricity, water) and we were also allowed to dispose of garbage. Super nice and helpful hosts!

Extremely cordial and pleasant communication with the hosts, who without batting an eye provided us with extra equipment in a small emergency situation. In a starry night and mild temperatures, we were able to experience just the right amount of miniature adventure with toddler: Flashlight hike by the wooded area and field, occasionally a bat sailed over our heads, play equipment was shared extensively by the kids. For our first backcountry experience, a great start!
Very friendly, everything clean, courteous without any problems.
Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the stay, because our team (VW bus and 7m caravan) was too long and did not get into the driveway. Carsten was but very anxious to accommodate us somehow yet, but it helped nothing. Finally, he has offered to reimburse us the ÜN costs again and has also made this immediately. Too bad, but not to change. From the location in any case quiet and with a small forest behind the house.
Carsten and his family welcomed us warmly. The place is nice and quiet and is perfect to switch off. There is everything you need. We can only give 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and say thank you. LG Björn and Mandy
I had a nice contact with Carsten! Unfortunately, the planned stay did not come about because we got sick shortly before.
The place is very nice and idyllic location. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We could use a large bathroom with toilet and shower. Good access to the highway and bike paths.
Everything Tip Top ! Very helpful host! Unfortunately I had only one night, next time gladly longer and again there. Only a few minutes from the highway and therefore an ideal starting point for trips in the area. Absolutely quiet night spent. Best thanks and greetings from Niko!
We were (unfortunately) just passing through, but felt right at home. Corinne and Carsten are super hosts and conversation partners. The place for our tent was picturesque and quiet and the bathroom was already luxurious! If we are in the area again, we will be back!
Very friendly host family. Much offered for children. Gladly again! During the stroller ride through the Michelgäschen we marveled at chickens and sheep. There is also a pond with ducks to admire in the village and a nice big playground.
Very wonderful place, very wonderfully kind and affable hosts. A super quiet and idyllic place a bit off the beaten tourist track, but all the more beautiful for it. To recommend without compromises!
Corinne and Carsten are quite wonderful and uncomplicated hosts who are exactly on our wavelength. We had three quiet and relaxing days. The pitch was located between fir trees in the middle of the greenery, just the way we like it. We thank you for the hospitality and come back very gladly.
August 2022 This was my first Hinterland experience and directly a direct hit. Carsten and his family are super uncomplicated and extremely warm hosts. Our children had found each other on the first evening, so it was a no-brainer for them as well. The location in the back of the garden with forest stand is cozy and quiet. There is a separate, spacious bathroom for guests, but so far no washing facilities for camping gear. As I have met Carsten, he takes this but directly as the next. For him, this was also the first season as a campsite operator ;-) The small village itself has not too much to offer on foot, a small playground at the pond in the village center, beautiful orchards, no shopping facilities. The nearest bathing lake is the Heyda dam, a beautifully situated in nature reservoir, with beautiful "wild" bathing spots Directly in front at the parking lot at the dam wall, it is still rather uncomfortable, but becoming increasingly beautiful, the further you walk from there along the shore into the forest. Half an hour's drive away, we also went to the fairy world in Saalfeld, which is an all-around nice thing for kids between about 5 and 11. All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay. And it was a pleasure to be one of the first guests at Carsten's Hinterland Camp.
Very nice accommodated. The children got along great and played wonderfully on the spacious grounds. The best thing is the small forest on the property, where you can stretch your legs after a long drive. We like to come back
Carsten and Corinne were very friendly, caring and helpful hosts. The site is located between the residential house and the old stable building. Enough space for our VW bus with roof tent. The large garden invited to linger and the children could let off steam.
