A very nice place. Yes, it’s right by the road (you can hear it). But it also faces the Baltic Sea. Very friendly hosts. The food is highly recommended. I felt right at home and slept soundly with earplugs.

Torsten takes good care of his guests. The place is very beautiful, though unfortunately the traffic is quite loud. But once you're at the beach, you quickly forget about it.

Very friendly welcome! Great view and perfect for a one-night stay. Not suitable for campers with pop-up roofs, as the street is very noisy even at night.

Is there anything better than waking up to a view of the sea?! It’s a fantastic spot—the Baltic Sea is just a few meters from the bed. Torsten is a very warm host, and communicating with him was easy. Eckernförde is a brisk walk away, so bringing a bike makes sense. Right next door is the Treibgut restaurant, and Phil’s Burger on the south beach is a 10-minute walk away. I’ll definitely be back.

Great spot, even though we were here during bad weather and unfortunately couldn’t try out the restaurant (it was early in the week). You should be aware that the property is located on the busy road to Eckernförde, but that didn’t bother us (the location makes up for it).

You can't get a more spontaneous van-life feeling without searching. A view of the water, a glass of wine at dusk and Torsten tells you where the rock-free spot for a swim is. I was able to come to terms with the road behind it. An unconditional recommendation 😊

Hi there, We spent a night with Thorsten on the Baltic Sea. The pitch is right on the beach with its own small access. The nearby main road can of course be heard, but this is compensated for by the relaxed host and the fantastic view. By the way, there is a sauna bus on Sundays. We will definitely be back again. Torsten was very nice and the view of the Baltic Sea is great .only the promised toilets were not there (restaurant closed 🤷‍♀️)and nobody said that the place is right on the main road .....😘🙈

We stayed at Torsten's with our roof tent and immediately felt at home. The pitch is right on the water and on the B76 - there were two more motorhomes there with us, and there would have been room for more. We would particularly like to highlight Torsten's restaurant with its beautiful outdoor area: not a classic tourist restaurant, but really special cuisine that you should definitely try. Thank you very much for your hospitality - we would love to come back!

The spot is good, right by the sea. Fast and friendly communication with Torsten. A small point deduction because of the traffic noise.

The pitch is beautifully situated with a view of the sunset and access to the beach, and of course you can also hear the sound of the sea. Unfortunately, there are also cars on the street next door, but that's the only negative thing we noticed. The warm welcome from Torsten and a spontaneous invitation to yoga is exactly why we like hinterland places so much. Unfortunately, we weren't able to visit the Treibgut restaurant as we weren't there during opening hours, but we definitely want to try it again. Thank you Torsten for this, albeit short, experience!

Super nice place with a great host and good connections to Eckernförde. I was there with my daughter (10) and she was also totally thrilled.

What can we say. We've already been traveling for 2 weeks. But this place and the hosts top everything. Torsten and his family are super relaxed. Tip: Be sure to try the food at Treibgut, we have rarely eaten so well and with such outstanding service. The road behind the campsite didn't bother us at all. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time on this beautiful piece of earth. Everything was absolutely perfect. I'm almost lost for words, as these few days were more relaxing than many a real vacation. We had 2 wonderful nights at this site which more than exceeded our expectations. Great host, great place and a breathtaking view from the roof tent directly onto the beach and the sea. An absolute highlight of our vacation. We will definitely be back.

The site is right by the sea, great view, if you want you can swim straight into the sea from the camper. You can hear the road, but it didn't bother us. Torsten is very friendly, unfortunately we couldn't try the restaurant as it was closed during our stay. Highly recommended, we will be back.

Torsten is a great host. A really nice, almost perfect spot right on the water. Unfortunately, the road is quite noisy at night in the camper van with the pop-up roof. But you have to expect that in this location.

The pitch is amazing. Only 10 meters to the Baltic Sea, the beach is stony but you can chill out on the pitch. We can highly recommend the place ..... Torsten is a cool guy!

Our stay with Torsten was a dream. The sea really is right on the doorstep, a small stretch of beach, walks in the adjacent forest and then super delicious food in the associated restaurant, where our dogs were also very welcome - it couldn't have been better :) The noise from the street was also completely okay and didn't disturb our sleep in any way. We would love to come back 😊

Despite the bad weather we really enjoyed our stay!!! The location is ideal for a trip to Eckernförde and the view of the sea is breathtaking!!! We were even able to experience a beautiful sunset. Another highlight was a visit to the restaurant "Treib-Gut" to which the pitch belongs. The food there was outstanding and should definitely be tried if you are ever there. Electricity was of course also no problem! We would love to come back again!!!👍🏻

Super friendly host, has his heart in the right place, is very attentive and tries to fulfill all your wishes. But apart from the host and his service, the spot is really recommendable, the view is amazing, you have the possibility of a wonderful sunrise and sunset. The location is also really good, great connections, light traffic. However, this is of course always a personal opinion.

Not only is the pitch great, but the restaurant run by Torsten also offers excellent food - whether burgers or caipirin chicken - an absolute explosion of flavor. If you can't get one of the three places on the pitch, you should at least consider eating there. Reservations are also recommended for the restaurant.

The site is right on the water and our stay was great. Torsten gave us a lovely welcome and took his time. We were also treated to a very tasty dinner on the spur of the moment!

Top location directly on the Baltic Sea / on the water. Only the road noise from the B76 is a bit loud, but fortunately it subsides overnight. Very nice operator, we were welcomed directly by Torsten. He gave us valuable advice on the best place to pitch - and electricity was also included. And the food in the restaurant - no words... We will definitely be back!

This view.......! Really great. Open the door and you're right on the beach. In March, when the weather was great, we could walk along the beach for ages in the morning and had it all to ourselves. Of course, the main road is close by, but at night there's very little going on and with the view of the water I could completely block out the noise. Torsten is really nice and makes everything possible. We even stayed a second night.

My dog Wilma and I had a great time with Torsten and his family. The location with a direct view of the Baltic Sea is beautiful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and is a real must when you are there. We felt very well looked after and the communication and support was great!

Beautiful view, straight parking space

We had a really nice stay with Torsten. We were warmly welcomed and had a delicious dinner in your restaurant. The view of the water is great and the invitation to go ice swimming at this time of year is simply brilliant. On Sundays you can also book a sauna session in Jante's sauna bus for €10, which we gladly took advantage of given the temperatures. The only drawback is the main road right next door. It didn't bother us too much. Would recommend anyone to stay here for a night.

As described, a really great pitch, the surroundings have a good mix of tranquillity and city. The contact with Torsten was uncomplicated and really nice. He showed and described everything to us in detail on arrival. We'll definitely be going back again.

We had a wonderful stay - the plan was just to arrive, sleep and leave early the next morning. The sunset right on the bay drew us out for another walk. Beautiful place in 1st row to the sea. Torsten is a super nice host and came around to greet us. You can reach the center of Eckernförde super. About 3km, easy to do on foot or by bike. We will come again and recommend the place with a clear conscience!

A wonderful place. The Baltic Sea right outside the car door. Overall a very nice stay with very nice hosts who also make very tasty food.

We booked a backcountry camp for the first time and immediately had a great experience! Yes, the road is very close, but everything else makes you forget about the road. Not only do you have the sea and the beach right on your doorstep, but also the chattering wild geese, thanks to the nature reserve and a very nice, recommendable restaurant. Torsten and his family (both two- and four-legged) are very nice and super warm hosts. Highly recommended all round! Thank you for the wonderful time with you :)

A wonderful place right by the sea. We arrived with two dogs and were given a very warm welcome - just wonderfully uncomplicated. Torsten and the whole staff are very accommodating. We were given a very friendly welcome and briefing. Direct location on the beach. After a long journey we were able to relax directly on the beach and the terrace with Torsten. In the evening we ate in the restaurant which is highly recommended! Top service and super friendly everyone. The communication in advance and also on site with Torsten and his wife was perfect. Thank you so much for this wonderful start to our camper life! Thorsten and his family have really created a wonderful place here where you can only feel at home. The arrival and departure were super uncomplicated and the contact with Thorsten and his whole team in the restaurant was very pleasant! You feel more like you're visiting friends than your hosts! The restaurant right on site is of course super convenient and we can more than recommend the cake! And the fact that yoga is offered in good weather was a new but wonderful experience for us, which we would gladly take advantage of again! The location is just great. Torsten is a super nice host, his restaurant is highly recommended. The place is right on the main road, you have to know about the traffic. Only limited walking with a "larger" dog due to the ban on the water until November 1st. But again, the view, the restaurant... mega super.

We felt very comfortable at Torsten's place. We could see the Eckernförde Bay from the pitch. The beach is right next to the pitch. We went for walks along the beach with our dogs. We experienced beautiful sunsets and watched wild geese on the beach. We stayed there for one night and then drove on towards Denmark. Torsten is a very nice and accommodating host. We will certainly go back again.

Nice welcome on arrival and briefing on the pitch. Direct access to the beach. And the food in the adjoining restaurant is also top class and highly recommended. Can also be served on your own camping table on request.

Very nice, uncomplicated parking space for our transit to Denmark. A little cramped when it's a bit busier. Unfortunately also on a through road - you have to know that. Perfect for 1 night and the host was super nice. Everything there if you ask. (Electricity etc.) Access to toilets when host was on site, he has always offered. Thanks for the uncomplicated stay!

Place very easy to find, super friendly host and nice staff in the restaurant. Since the main road is behind you, there is no absolute peace and quiet, but we didn't really find it disturbing.

It was an unforgettable time at this pitch right on the Baltic Sea beach with a fantastic backdrop and the delicious and cozy Treib-Gut restaurant. Torsten and the whole family are super nice and great hosts in every respect - we will definitely be back! The only thing is that the busy road between Kiel and Eckernförde is not for noise-sensitive motorhome drivers.

Unfortunately we didn't meet Torsten in person, but the place was beautiful and we were well informed by Torsten in advance. Yes, you can hear the main road. But you can use hearing protection if necessary :) The view in the evening/morning is more than enough to make up for it.

We had a really great time at Kiekut - a wonderful campsite by a nature reserve with an excellent restaurant and nice, relaxed, very helpful hosts. We are already looking forward to the next time!

If I could, I would give it 100 stars. This was my first time traveling with my two dogs via Hinterlandcamp and my first time at the Baltic Sea. Right at the beginning I was greeted very lovingly by Thorsten and his wife. We always had a nice chat during my stay and I was also able to get to know his lovely dogs. I arrived with a tent and had a fantastic pitch with a view of the Baltic Sea. Thorsten and his family always came to meet me when I needed something (toilet, water connection and garbage can, they also offered me help if my tent couldn't stand the rain :-) In the evening I had a divine meal in the restaurant (here again my 100% recommendation to eat in the restaurant, it's amazing!!!). My two dogs were very welcome and were given water and sprats straight away. In the evening I was able to sleep contentedly in my tent. I personally didn't find the road disturbing and have rarely slept so well. Unfortunately the stay was very short but we will definitely be back! I have never met such nice and helpful hosts before and can only say - thank you for this wonderful time with you and stay as great as you are! Torsten is a very nice host, we were warmly welcomed. The place has a great view directly on Eckernförde and the bay. The weather played along with us, so that we still had a real vacation feeling with a private beach for the night, our 2 dogs also felt very comfortable. The sunset from the "bedroom window" was still impressive. If we are in the Eckernförde area again, we would always stay at Torsten's again, we can only recommend it.

Spent two nights on this sensational site. Torsten gave us a very warm welcome. The direct view of Eckernförde Bay is magnificent. The sunset was beautiful! There are now signs saying "No access to the beach", so we felt completely undisturbed. We also personally didn't find the nearby B76 bad. The traffic is much less, especially at night. We would love to come back! :-)

We will definitely be back. Super friendly host. Right on the Baltic Sea and you can go straight into the water. The street is unfortunately also present during the day we can not deny that but it did not prevent us from sleeping. It gets quieter at night. Very nice reception by Torsten's wife Elisa. Totally uncomplicated. We received electricity and water. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. Our dogs were also warmly welcomed. The road is clearly audible, but that was clear when booking. The location 5 m to the Baltic Sea was mega.

The pitch is right next to the restaurant. Fantastic, right on the Baltic Sea beach. Lovingly laid out. You can be in the city center in 15 minutes by bike, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the south beach. Torsten is a very friendly host. We will be back :-)

We stayed there for 2 nights. It's in such a great location, right on the beach with a great view. Torsten gave us a super nice welcome. The very close road did not bother us. It was a bit of a shame that some visitors to the restaurant or the beach were inconsiderate and walked over our pitch or stood up to make a phone call in order to have the best sea view. Maybe they could do with a bit more signposting there... All in all, though, it was really great and Torsten did a really nice job of rebuilding after the flooding. We'll definitely be back one day and would love to.

Elisa and Torsten are very nice hosts. Unfortunately we were only there for a short stopover on our way through and would have liked to stay longer. A visit to the restaurant is highly recommended.

We received a very friendly welcome and were very well informed. Next to the pitch (really right on the Baltic Sea!!!!!!) is a restaurant that belongs to it. We had a delicious dinner there. An all-round successful evening.

A really great pitch right on the beach. Sea is not possible. We received a very friendly welcome from Torsten, who answered all our questions in a very uncomplicated and calm manner. We were able to enjoy the evening with a lovely barbecue and a fantastic sunset. This place is on our bucket list and we would love to come back.

A place with a view of the Baltic Sea. That's what we had wished for. And that's what we got without question. But not only that... but also a comfortable, straight place directly at the Baltic Sea including own access to it, a super nice, flexible, reliable and uncomplicated host who knows what campers need, the possibility to enjoy an unbelievably delicious meal in a wonderful atmosphere in the immediate vicinity, the proximity to Eckernförde, a connection to the bicycle path and a top starting point for beach walks. It probably does not need to be mentioned that we had a great stay!

A really great pitch right by the sea, even with its own beach access. Torsten is a very friendly uncomplicated host. Dog was no problem at all, he was even allowed into the restaurant. We liked it so much that we booked another 6 days next year.

Thank you very much, dear Torsten, for the nice stay. We were greeted very nice and personally, got uncomplicated electricity and could also still get rid of our garbage. This place directly on the sea is wonderful and highly recommended and a visit to the restaurant next door as well!

Rarely has a place fascinated us so much. We were right in front of the Baltic Sea and had a friendly and open host in Torsten. He spoiled our dogs with treats and introduced us to his area very sweetly. They were wonderful days.

We have chosen the place as a stopover in the direction of DK. Super nice hosts and a very nice pitch right on the water. With our dogs we have explored the stone-rich natural beach. The noise from the adjacent highway was compensated by the direct view of the water.

Wonderful location directly on the Eckernförder Bay with direct beach access. In addition, two warm hosts, a visit to the adjacent restaurant is absolutely recommended both for coffee / cake and for the hot dishes at lunch / dinner. The main road is audible, but did not bother me at all, especially since you can sit behind the vehicle protected from view. Definitely worth a trip, I could imagine a longer stay there very well!

Very nice location. Immediately after arrival went swimming and enjoyed beautiful sunset over the city.

Unfortunately, I could not perceive the booking because my travel plans have changed at short notice. But the contact was very nice and I was offered to take the booked night on another day.

Torsten and Elisa are super nice hosts, pitch with great view, beach only 5 meters away, road behind the site sometimes a bit noisy when west wind. Otherwise everything very recommendable.

Here the hosts have really created a wonderful place . Directly on the water we could park our van. We had a super view. We had direct beach access and could make long walks . When the restaurant is open, you can use the toilet. We were from Friday to Saturday on the site. Before Torsten closed his restaurant he asked again if we wanted to use the toilet again. Also the next day before our departure, although the restaurant was still closed. Torsten is a very nice accommodating host. This place is highly recommended. Kind regards to our hosts

A super nice pitch directly on the Eckernförde Bay, with beach just behind the fence. Space for chairs and table is also available. Torsten is a very sympathetic host who is really interested in his guests and wants you to feel comfortable. He is super relaxed and helpful. We immediately felt at home and firmly resolved to come again. Thank you Torsten for sharing this beautiful place with us.

The place is great for one night! Direct access to the beach and water. It is very small and paved with tar boulders (??), which is not nice, but also means no solid driving danger in wet conditions. When leaving we read on a sign that dogs are not allowed on the beach? There it was a little too late :-/ and besides, our dog was not the only one.... Unfortunately, people also used the place as a direct passage to the beach....that was a bit strange, especially for our "watchdog" :-) And: yes, you should not be squeamish about street noise; after all, you have a federal highway right in your back. While sleeping it did not bother us, but sitting in the sun in front of the camper loses some of its charm, especially since the car can not be parked so that you have the road protected "behind'm" car. You can only with forehead or tail to the water, not laterally.... Oh yes, and last "pity" point: the certainly great Treib-Gut restaurant is unfortunately only open from Thursday to Sunday. This all sounds much more negative than it should be. Next time we come just on the weekend and everything is fine! Thanks Torsten!!!!

The place is very nicely located and perfect to start the day with a walk in the Baltic Sea! The hosts are also very friendly! In the surrounding area you can make nice trips :)

For an early morning swim in the sea or a romantic sundowner, the place is perfect because it really is right by the sea.... no 2 meters to the beach. Torsten and his crew are very nice and the restaurant absolutely recommendable! However, who wants to have the absolute peace and quiet, this can have only limited, because the highway in front of the parking lot is already quite crowded and noisy (vacation season). Apart from that, we had a nice time out. Thank you very much.

Nice parking with beach access, electricity and view of the Baltic Sea directly from the rear windows! Very friendly hosts with great cafe / restaurant! The nearby B76 you do not even notice at night in the bus. No disturbance by traffic noise. As if you were standing directly on the beach! We can only recommend. We will be happy to come again :)

We have often vehicles here and now finally wanted to enjoy it. The site is super located. Where else is there a place directly by the sea? The communication with Torsten and Oli was great. The food in the restaurant is exceptionally tasty and is even brought to the vehicle. We will come again, no question!

Suuuuper cool people. Top stand directly on the sea. First time and unique seen sunset and sunrise from the same point. It was just wonderful here and we will definitely come again. We also have much to discover on the excellent menu at the inn, because here you not only eat well, but it is truly a culinary synphony. The operators are extremely friendly. The pitch is nicely laid out with direct access to the water. The food in the restaurant "Treib-Gut" was excellent. Price performance 👍 What could disturb is the expressway. I felt comfortable there anyway. So that I booked one more day. I will come again🤗

Wow what a mega pitch with soooo a great view dierekt on the sea. Torsten left nothing to be desired, whether electricity, water everything zero problem. Really nice campsite right by the sea. Super nice hosts and mega delicious food at Treib Gut - what more could you want? The only drawback is the road - just dependent on traffic - but it did not bother us. We will definitely come again!

A really beautiful place just a few meters from the water. Relaxed walks, collecting rustic stones, let your soul dangle or just look at the water is the goal here. The road seems disturbing in the 1st moment, but that was not so. Thu + Fri you can fill your empty stomach in the courtyard restaurant. We were very, very satisfied with everything and will be happy to visit again.
