A beautiful, peaceful meadow on the edge of the forest, spacious enough even when there are a few vehicles there. Super friendly hosts who are great to communicate with.
A very large former pasture meadow, from the edge of the village to the edge of the forest. There is absolute peace and quiet and a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the branches of the trees along the way scratch the vehicle. The communication with the providers was good, an answer with the corresponding directions came very quickly. It was a pity that we were woken up at night by young "learner drivers" on the access road, loudly and with the engine roaring. Otherwise great for those seeking peace and quiet!
We had a very nice time on the meadow. Anyone looking for peace and nature will find it here. The very simple and direct arrangement made the stay all the more pleasant. We would love to come back!
If, like us, you love solitude, this is the place for you. Absolute peace and quiet, only birdsong, incredible views and a great place to look at the stars. Very nice hosts. We would love to come back.

A beautiful spot on earth. Quiet, well-kept, lots of space. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. No cars, no airplanes, no noise at all. In the evening we had a nice, short chat with the very nice owner. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Unreserved recommendation!
The communication with Stefanie was great. She was available by phone and super nice. The meadow is a dream. Huge and absolutely quiet. Unfortunately, there are always campers looking for "proximity". So the joy was somewhat dampened, especially as there was still plenty of free space to stand. But that's not the host's fault. The place is a dream, we would give it more stars if it were possible. If we are in the area again, we will definitely ask again. Kind regards and thank you for this peaceful time. Daniela

If you're looking for peace and privacy, this is the place for you. Great view, we could even see lots of fireflies at the edge of the forest. The contact with Stefanie and the directions from her were great. We will definitely come back when it suits.

A super nice place, away from everything. It's a large meadow where you can position yourself however you like. Whether on the edge of the forest or more on the outskirts. We received a message via WhatsApp immediately after booking with detailed information on how to get there. We'll be back next time we're in the region!

What a great spot on earth! Nothing but nature around you. Perfect relaxation. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night, but Stefanie's place is at the top of our list to repeat! Many thanks to Stefanie!
The place was great. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Special requests were catered for, thank you very much. We were two cyclists, with a tent, through the Thuringian Forest and felt very comfortable. Such places are little oases and not easy to find. Please keep up the good work.
Easy arrival thanks to directions and help from locals. Plenty of space, lots of peace and quiet, beautiful nature. Once again we were able to spend a relaxing weekend in a beautiful place. Thuringia is always worth a visit.
Our first experience with Hinterland Camp. Super nice well-kept meadow with lots of space right next to the forest. It is pure nature, just the right place to find peace and quiet. Thank you for your hospitality. We would love to come back.

Here, 5 points are not enough. There should be at least 15. What a meadow. What views. What peace. Hiking trails. Bicycle tours. And in 15 minutes by bike to the grocery store. Totally nice and uncomplicated contact. Mega recommendable. At the top of our watch list. Keep the meadow clean. Thanks for this spot👌!!!

A great, quiet place with many possibilities to set up his camper. We also loved the possibility to walk to a swimming pond 3 km away and cool off there.

In the evening frogs croak, in the morning the cuckoo can be heard. Simply a dreamlike place. No road, no lanterns. Very idyllic place for rest.

Everything super always gladly again
Uncomplicated it's not nice lonely and all alone we stood on the meadow with the magnificent view, horses ran across the neighboring paddock and we enjoyed the tranquility of nature
The meadow was huge and offered a super view! We had a quiet stay and the contact with the owner worked well!
Here you are in the middle of nature. A very beautiful and large place. You can start great hikes directly from the place. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will find it here. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
My friend, our two dogs and I were here for a day + night. We were first surprised how huge the meadow is. You can put anywhere you want - and we have then put us on top of the forest. Here you are really for yourself and has its peace. And you have many paths and opportunities to walk . The contact with the hosts has also worked out great. Stefanie and her husband were very friendly and have helped us well. We will be happy to come back again !
Our night on the meadow of Stefanie was as promised. A huge space and plenty of space around us. There you can ideally forget the everyday life! The / the host* was very accommodating and provided us with all the info we needed! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Here you are really in the hinterland, in the most positive sense! If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here. The meadow is located at the end of the village of 50 souls. We stood a little bit above. Here you have a great view of the surrounding area. The region invites you to hike and bike. Also fishing or swimming is possible in the surrounding lakes. We have enjoyed the time with our very nice hosts very much and would like to thank you in this way again very much. LG Thomas and Dagmar
A very nice quiet meadow on the edge of a tiny, charming village. Adjacent hiking trails are a nature experience for dog and man. The contact with the landlords was extremely friendly and accommodating! We will gladly come again, perhaps when the apple trees hang full of fruit 😉 Lg Ina & Kolja
