Slightly sloping grass pitch in an exposed location with a very nice view. Unfortunately, the construction workers, tippers and excavators were also active on Saturdays. But that will come to an end at some point. The village road and the country road in the immediate vicinity were not very busy. The directly adjacent woodland is private and cordoned off. The landlord and villagers were very friendly. With e-bike you can find nice routes, Freudenberg or Friesenhagen are easy to reach through the area + road. I would have liked a little more seclusion and found the place rather expensive.
It was our second visit to this beautiful place! Hikes are possible directly from the site, the camper can simply stay put. There are several hop caves and sun loungers in the area to enjoy the view. We will be back :)
Very nice place with a great view. Hosts very nice and helpful. Beautiful hiking trails. Super quiet at night. You can hear a motorcycle on the country road from time to time but that's fine. Will definitely come back again.

Very nice place with a fantastic view and a breathtaking sunset, everything was very uncomplicated and easy to find. The pitch even had a swing with a slide, perfect for the little ones. :) We would love to come back!
The view is simply fantastic and quiet. A very well-kept spot. Jan has now also put a children's swing and slide in the corner, which is definitely a dream for families. Enjoy the view and the peace and quiet while keeping an eye on the children playing. But it's also a dream for dog owners, with lots of wonderful, scenic hiking trails. We will definitely be back, thank you Jan.
I didn't get to know Jan personally. He welcomed and briefed our friends who arrived early. They were completely satisfied. The site is aptly named. A wonderful view with a pair of red kites as a highlight. The area is also a good starting point for hikes. However, you have to be self-sufficient, so there is no water, waste water disposal or electricity. I found it good as a test for my own equipment before a long trip.
It's a very nice place with a great view. However, we think the price is a bit too much without any service. But the site is really nicely done and well maintained. Tip: In Freundenberg there is a parking space with VE for disposal.
Nice host, nice place to hike. For a weekend the place is quite ok.
The description "gorgeous view" hits the nail right on the head. In beautiful weather we stood two days on Jan's meadow, were nicely welcomed and provided with initial tips. The surrounding area is very inviting for hiking / biking. 😊

A beautiful place away from the hustle and bustle. The adjacent road hardly disturbs and is little traveled. In the evening / night very quiet. Ideal for hiking or relaxing. The host is very friendly! Access problem-free possible.
The contact was uncomplicated and very nice. The campground was very nice and the view was great. We would deduct one star because there were two small restrictions: 1. because the campsite is in the blazing sun, you have to provide enough shade yourself. 2. the campsite is located just under a hundred meters away from a busy road - so who has his dog or small children would have to consider this.... All in all, it was very nice and we would recommend it at any time.
Wide view , all green, no fences, host takes care very well on arrival.
We had two very nice nights at Jan. The view is fantastic and the construction site has not bothered us at all, you look anyway in the other direction. Jan was very nice and helpful and we could go great hiking in the immediate vicinity.

Very nice and reliable contact with many tips and information. From the place you enjoy a wonderful view of nature - wonderful. If you like hiking, you have so elnige routes to choose from. We found it wonderful and will definitely come back again.
Very nice place, fantastic view! Near Freudenberg with its spa gardens and the "Old Spot". In addition, the moated castle Cottorf! Everything with the E-bike ( because of up and down ) to reach ... Very nice contact and everything perfectly organized! We come again with pleasure!
A beautiful, quiet place with a really great view over the countryside! The meadow is adjacent to a small forest, which provides shade in the morning. Jan and his wife welcomed me very nicely. Thank you for everything, I will be happy to come back!
