Hi—we’re Kathrin and Jürgen. Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, nestled in the greenery of the Bergisches Land, lies “Merle”—our half-timbered house built in 1900. Here, where foxes and hares say “good night” to each other, our hearts beat a little faster. We’re nature lovers, sports fanatics, and above all, passionate hosts. When you come to stay with us, you’ll leave the stress of the city behind. All around the house, there’s nothing but nature, forest, and pure relaxation. Whether after an active workout out in the hills or simply while consciously doing nothing: Here you’ll find the space to unwind, be close to nature, and recharge your batteries. We’re always happy to answer any questions you may have, but otherwise we’ll give you the peace and quiet you need to completely unwind. We look forward to welcoming you!
