It's really nice there, especially with kids, but you definitely need camping wedges. The restrooms and showers are great, right in the middle of nature.

Absolutely beautiful and unique! Kangaroos in Bavaria—who would have thought? A beautiful farm with lots of animals and a great view from the campsite. The family was very friendly, and their colleague even took the time on Sunday morning to show my kids the animals in the barn. We’ll be back!
Very nice place close to the animals and very clean sanitary facilities. We arrived late and left quite early and couldn't enjoy the café. Too bad, but we will definitely be back again!

A beautiful camp spot, amazing views on a working farm. Lots of animals- Lamas, highland cows, chickens and more. Cafe on property and a camp store with a variety of homemade products. Very clean bathrooms! Thank you for having us!
1st campsite: I had several spots on meadows to choose from and opted for shade in the morning and a wonderful view. In the evening I had fireflies around the tent, which was simply wonderful. But now, at the beginning of July, I should have sprayed myself even better because of ticks and black flies. The €1 spray from dm worked wonderfully, but only where I had sprayed myself... 2. the hosts were very nice, both in advance and on site. I was invited several times to simply help myself to the cherry tree and the cherries were really incredibly tasty. 3. sanitary facilities were all new and well maintained, some of the best I've had so far. Right next to the courtyard cafe were very new and modern toilets and sinks. The shower (with yet more sinks and toilets) was on the edge of a machine shed. That was also a good fit. And I saw bats on the way there in the evening. 4. infrastructure: Really great! There is very good ice cream around the clock from a small self-service farm store. There were also a few more things in the fridges, I think cheese, sausage,... The farm café is also open on some days with fresh cakes and pastries. Highly recommended. 5. animal welfare: there were lots of different types of animals, all of which I think lead a golden life: Highland cattle with cow-bound rearing of calves on huge meadows under and around trees, llamas and alpacas on very large pastures with shelter, wallabies, which come from regions with very similar climates. I also saw chickens and Costa Rican squirrels, which I don't think you can give enough space to because otherwise you would have to fence in some of the trees. Conclusion: gladly again!
Nice contact everything as described. Edüllisch quiet area, gladly again. Nice farm store, but the café is only open on Sundays for breakfast.
Beautiful place, lots to see. Be sure to take larger wedges, the small meadow is very steep.
Nice pitch right next to an alpaca meadow. The toilet was fine. The children were very happy about the many animals on the farm. We felt very comfortable.
Our stay at Winklhof was really great! The whole area is very idyllic and well-kept. The family is very nice and accommodating! You feel very welcome from the very first moment. The animals on the farm are worth a visit and the products from their own production are of the highest quality. We will certainly be back.
A nice quiet place with nice hosts. We really enjoyed the alpaca hike. The farm store has lovely products and on Sundays very good cakes and coffee. We will definitely be back.
Very uncomplicated handling and great hosts. Pitch is very idyllic surrounded by the wonderful animals and orchards. The farm store and the great pies and cakes round off the whole thing😃 We will definitely be back.

A very beautiful, family-friendly farm. There are 55 alpacas and llamas that are just great to look at. The farm is quiet and the owners are very friendly, as are the dogs. I especially liked the squirrels 😄 We would love to come back!

The Winklhof is simply great, an island of peace with friendly hosts, clean and a paradise for children. Definitely recommended!

We spent 2 wonderfully quiet nights here on our way back from Slovenia. Everything was great! The sanitary facilities are new and clean, the pitches are spacious and quiet and the farm animals are adorable. Thank you very much! :)
Large farm with lots of different animals, we found the Costa Rica squirrels particularly interesting. We got a very nice pitch right next to the alpacas' pasture. Great farm store and cafe, thanks again for the hospitality and friendliness.

We made our first stopover on our trip at the Winkelhof and it was the right decision. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to start our vacation with a delicious piece of homemade cake and a good cup of coffee. (Only possible on Sundays and public holidays) Marion then showed us our pitch, the toilet and shower, everything as described, very clean and well maintained. Marion and Marcus are very friendly, helpful and uncomplicated, as is everyone else on the farm.
It was a pleasure. We received a very warm welcome and were able to relax really well. The alpaca hike was a highlight and we shopped extensively in the farm store. Thank you very much for your hospitality

We had reserved a pitch for three days with our camper van. Marion and Markus were both very nice and helpful. There is a lot to see on the farm and the additionally booked alpaca hike was a real highlight. Thank you once again and we would love to come back.

Very friendly, helpful welcome from Marion. Our pitch was very nice in the middle of plantations, alpacas, 2 great Bernese mountain dogs and kangaroos. Not forgetting a lovely farm café with delicious cakes. A great start to our vacation, thank you.

Beautiful farm in the hinterland :-). Top for children! There is much to discover! The farm store and the alpaca walk we have not tried but that also looks very recommendable. We asked for a fire bowl and so we could still make a small campfire with wood from the nearby forest. Perfect day.
Atmosphere, place, fauna top. Recommended for camping in beautiful nature with friendly, animal visitors.
We were unfortunately only briefly there, but still it was wonderful. A beautiful spot on a super nicely arranged farm with lots of animals and plants to discover. Who likes to be in the country will love it :)
We were guests with our camper (6 people). The animals are doing really well there, you can feel the heart and passion.... highly recommended with children, everything on site or within a short distance to reach what you need for a successful vacation as a family. We are very happy to come back!
Outstanding hosts, very easy going and friendly. We had a nice, albeit short stay. WCs and shower very clean and modern and the farm store is definitely worth a visit.
What great days we were able to spend at the Winklhof! The site offers everything you could wish for... Clean sanitary facilities, beautiful view, a soft ice cream machine open 24 hours and lots to discover for children and adults.

Great place in the middle of apple orchards and surrounded by all kinds of animals. 🦙 🦘 We have made the next day directly an alpaca hike and ate super delicious cake in the Hofcafe. Will certainly come by again! 🚐

We were traveling with our 2 year old daughter. The farm and the pitch was very nice, with a view of the alpaca pasture and the apple trees. The animals are very trusting even if we are not used to such large dogs. The playground was okay, there was some broken toys lying around, which I sorted out and put on the side. We were during the week at the farm and it was unfortunately not possible in the cafe to eat a cake (open from April to Nov. but then opening hours only Sunday and holiday, somehow misleading). Also we could not join an alpaca hike (take place on WE). After booking, we were offered that we can once with in the stable to the alpacas but here we were unfortunately not given notice (we could come to it by chance). Would have liked more contact on the part of the hosts. Despite everything, it was 2 nice quiet days on the farm.
Very nice farm, with the most diverse animals. I arrived and in the pasture two young alpacas were playing -very cute. WC and showers were clean and tidy. Also, I was allowed to try the first time chokeberry juice and also immediately bought the delicious apple juice. Thank you very much for the nice stay.
The stay was a very pleasant experience. We were allowed to stand by the fruit trees self-sufficient. The area is very quiet. Both hosts were very nice. Highly recommended for a short trip with the potential to relax. We would have liked to experience the farm festival, but unfortunately we could not stay longer.
I camped here with child for one night. The campground is beautiful and perfectly quiet, the toilets brand new and clean. A beautiful yard and friendly, helpful hosts, what more could you ask for? We will come again.
As in the numerous reviews before, it is a beautiful organic farm with many animals. Here, big and small have something to look at.... It is a beautiful farm with great quiet location. Marion and Marcus are very nice and helpful. They run a small farm store on site with homegrown products. We liked it very much...

We were here for the second and not the last time. Wonderful pitch, great animals, nice hosts, excellent sanitary facilities and delicious cakes. You just have to hold your camping table well when the totally lovely whirlwind teenage dog comes to visit 😂.
We were only one night there, café and farm store had unfortunately closed. We stood self-sufficiently with a minivan with roof tent directly at the orchard. The exact location we could choose. The ground is meadow, wedges are required. The hosts are very warm, there are many small and large animals and a beautiful surrounding area for cycling, hiking or geocaching :) Also great for children, very large facility with large playground with sandbox. You could well spend a slightly longer vacation here. We liked it very much.
Everything was great. Clean sanitary facilities in the café.delicious cake and great animals for the kids to look at. We were there with the tent. There was a picnic seating area which was handy for us as we were traveling without chairs. Thanks again

Totally super. We were right next to the alpacas. Class farm store / cafe with very tasty cake. Large sand mountain for the kids to play. Come again with pleasure.

Just beautiful! Great farm with many happy animals. We had an idyllic pitch between chokeberry and apple trees. We are very happy to come back!
We enjoyed our stay with the Hubers very much! The pitch was within sight of the farm, but wonderfully secluded on the edge of a chokeberry field. There are many animals, especially the llamas and alpacas are fascinating. And Sina, the mountain dog is very cuddly! We found the area perfect for biking; there is a nice little swimming lake in the area and we did a tour along the Vils including a visit to the outdoor pool in Vilsbiburg. The larger bike tour almost fell out because the Hofcafé was open that day and we gorged ourselves on the really outrageously good cakes and pies, absolutely delicious. - Thanks for the great time and hope to see you soon!
Idyllic area - the farm also offers a great walk around. There are then also alpacas for a walk. These animals are really lovely and calming to watch. Nice time out, we will certainly come back!
The pitch was quiet & idyllic, the alpaca walk was great fun and farm store & farm cafe are really something special. Everything seems very well maintained and the signs to the various animals (wallabies, llamas, alpacas, beautiful squirrels,... are informative not only for children. Only that you have to arrive until 19:00, is understandable, but with longer arrival possibly something "difficult". But we still like to come back. Thank you! Conni & Co
Place under the trees directly on the field, very clean sanitary facilities, great playground for children and super many lovely animals to watch and pet for our little one! Unfortunately we arrived too late and so could not test the very modern looking Hofcafe. Next time! :-)

We had a nice pitch with a view of the alpacas and apple trees . The coffee was also open and we could enjoy delicious cake. In the store we have then immediately times with various vinegars eingedeckt and ne quite cuddly alpaca blanket had to also with! If the "producers" are next door 😆 Great farm me super concept! Come back very gladly!
I was camping with my daughter for the first time and couldn't have found a better location. The place was very nicely located in the plantation. It was super quiet and in the middle of nature. One had 24h the Moglichkeit sink and toilet to use. My daughter was completely thrilled by the animals on the farm. She was especially fond of the cats. A playground, kangaroos and alpacas/lamas were another highlight. We felt really comfortable and will definitely be back.
We were beautifully situated among apple trees. Our hosts were very friendly, were even lucky enough to get fresh bread. My children were very comfortable and were out all day feeding, petting and looking at animals. We will be happy to come back again. Toilet was accessible at all times and super clean! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

We spent two very quiet and dark nights on this beautiful farm. The hosts were very nice. For the region an absolute recommendation!
We felt very comfortable. Marion and Marcus were super hospitable and totally nice. Stands wonderfully with the alpacas and llamas. Toilets are super and accessible at all times. A great place to stay. We will be happy to come back!!!
Helpful host. Idyllic and quiet. A great starry sky. There are great local products in the 24h store. Every morning the alpacas came by. The farm cats are also happy to visit. We can recommend the farm. (We did not try the homemade cakes in the farm store).
This farm has a quiet and idyllic location. We stood with our camper in the valley at the fruit meadow with a view of the horse and the alpacas. A really beautiful spot. Our hosts and all the staff at the farm were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended and happy to return.
We were allowed to choose the pitch and spend 2 next directly to the apple trees. The animals were the highlight for the children. Great farm, we will be happy to come back.

The farm is surrounded by apple trees and everywhere you look it is green. Family Huber has welcomed us very warmly. The cafe offers delicious coffee and the cake is simply divine😍 we will aufjedenfall go again. The only thing that could make it even better would be a shower for the campers with tents. Otherwise Top!

A great farm in the middle of nature. Unfortunately we could only stay one night, we would have liked to spend more time here and experience an alpaca hike. Pitch top with a view of the apple and chokeberry plantation. Our kids fell in love with farm dog Sina and didn't want to leave her at all. We will definitely come again. Toilets, by the way, sparkling clean as well as the whole farm very well maintained. And animals wherever you look: Alpacas, llamas, horses, dog, cats, guinea pigs, quails, chickens ... Thanks also to Marcus for all the explanations about the alpacas and llamas. Would love to give more than 5 stars.

Marion and Marcus are very nice and extremely relaxed people. They make you feel very welcome and always take time for a short chat. The farm is designed with a lot of love. The alpaca walk is worthwhile and fun. The "pets" especially the dog and the cats are very affectionate and can not be stroked enough. It was a very successful weekend, our nephew felt comfortable and had a lot of fun. With children absolutely unreservedly recommended.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there was no power supply. That would have been super. We liked the tour and the products offered. My wife would have been happy about an alpaca hike. Unfortunately this was not possible. To recommend as an overnight stay.
Very friendly hosts. We have stood very nice, toilet new and clean. The farm café offers delicious homemade cakes and pies and a hike with the llamas / alpacas brings a lot of fun. Dog Sina is super cute and the cat Flo we would have loved to take with us. And... our bullis already look great...😉
SUPER !!! We felt incredibly comfortable and would have liked to stay a few more days. The farm is super beautiful and spacious ! You can perfectly go for a run / hike / bike ride. The on site produced products like juices, apple chips etc. Are only to recommend ! We were certainly not the last time there ☺️☺️

Beautiful farm in a very quiet location. You can watch deer in the meadows during the day. At the 24-hour hausle you can get drinks, ice cream, sausage, pasta, juice and oil. The hosts are also very friendly. On Sundays and holidays the beautiful Hofcaffee is open.
A really nice farm! We have unfortunately spent only one night there, but with Marion you have a really great atmosphere. We will definitely come again!
Very nice farm with very nice and uncomplicated hosts. There is always something to see on the Winklhof. Our daughter had a lot of fun playing with the cats, guinea pigs, rabbits. The highlight was the guided walk with the llamas and alpacas. We will definitely come again!
Large, well-kept and above all beautiful area with very nice hosts! Marion has told us a lot of interesting things and explained. The farm store offers many great treats from their own production. We are very happy to come again!

We had two wonderful days at the Winklhof. We were allowed to park our camper between apple trees and chokeberry plantations. Our son (1.5 years) liked the animals and the playground super. There are alpacas, llamas, rabbits, guinea pigs, quails, cats, chickens, a horse and farm dog Sina. The products in the farm store or 24 hour sales are super tasty. Family Huber is super, we have lacked nothing. We will come again.
Super great pitch in the apple and chokeberry plantation. Very nice and uncomplicated hosts. The 24h vending machine offers great and different treats, so we have found for our dinner here. The farm store and the farm café are also highly recommended. Through the many different animals on the farm there is always something to watch. For children there is even a small playground. In the evening you can even meet deer in the plantation. We felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.
Nice place. On request even electricity. In the 24 hour vending machine gives tasty things inside. There is a bakery nearby. For the children there is everything they need
We had a beautiful pitch in the middle of orchards and could see the alpacas out of the van window. The combination with overnight stay and alpaca hike is perfect! In addition, there are delicious cakes and pies in the Hofcafe. As a camper you can use the very new toilet of the farm store and cafe.

We were already there for the 2nd time, unfortunately only 1 night. Both pitches were super. The nature is beautiful, for a nice conversation always find someone, but you can be just as good for themselves, depending on taste. Nice is the option of the farm cafe, toilet, farm store and vending machine cottage. The best thing for us was watching the animals.

We felt super comfortable. The farm is really a great time out in nature. Super pitches between apple trees and meadows, with plenty of distance to the other campers. The alpacas and llamas are of course the highlight, as well as the warm nature of Marion and Markus. Were certainly not the last time there :) thank you for everything!

For us it was the perfect pitch in the middle of nature, surrounded by forests, meadows and fields and thus a great place to get away from it all. The farm is beautiful and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Also the animals welcomed us very friendly :) We are looking forward to our next visit to the Winklhof.

A super nice and warm welcome from the hosts. The pitches are nicely distributed over the property and offer a great environment. The toilets and the farm store are new and well equipped. In the 24 h farm store there is super tasty grilled meat and the Aroniaprodukte are highly recommended! The highlight are of course the alpacas and the other animals on the farm, especially the dog Sina we have quickly taken to heart. We will surely come again! Babsi and Tobi
We booked one evening before our arrival and got directly still a place. You have a super beautiful landscape around you. It is really nice and quiet. The llamas and alpacas are the highlights on the farm. The hosts are very hospitable. We will definitely come again.
The llamas 🦙 and alpacas are of course the absolute highlight of this place, but also the hosts have absolutely convinced with their friendliness. We come again!
