A meadow with fruit trees right on the dyke🌳! What more do you need? We received a very friendly welcome from Markus, even though it was quite late! We went on lovely walks along the Rhine, including to Rees. Unfortunately, we had forgotten the displays for our bikes at home! 🤦🏻♂️😂 We would come back to this peaceful place any time!
Unfortunately we didn't have nice weather, but that didn't detract from our stay. It is very quiet and beautifully situated. Markus was very friendly and apologized for the bad weather. We would love to come back.

The site is beautifully situated right on the dyke🌳 We received a very friendly welcome from Markus' family😊 From there we took a lovely walk across fields and meadows 🌾to the Rhine.

Beautiful fenced meadow behind a barn on the dyke. A small road with little traffic runs along two sides of the property. You can see the Rhine from the dyke. There are fruit trees in the garden. We were allowed to pick cherries. For an additional 5 euros you can use a small toilet trailer. The host was very friendly and showed us around and gave us tips. A delivery service brought us food directly to the pitch, what a luxury. We would love to come back.

Top place on a beautiful fruit meadow! Absolutely quiet and idyllic location. Water, electricity - everything there! Markus and his mother are very friendly and helpful hosts! We will definitely come again!
Wonderful pitch between dike and sheep. Good start for a bike tour to Xanten. Super friendly and helpful host. Well maintained and lovingly furnished toilet car. Baker 10 minutes away by bike. Always gladly again!

A very nice place, quiet and close to nature only 10 minutes walk to the Rhine meadows. Ideal for campers with dog. We have felt very comfortable. For the electricity, however, you need a Schuko plug connection. Gladly again 😀. Thank you Markus and family.
Everything went great, from booking to reception. A beautiful place and absolute tranquility. We had 3 dogs with us and could walk beautiful paths. The Reeser Sea is within easy reach. Officially there is a bathing ban, unofficially a popular bathing and mooring😊. Place please always leave clean, then it remains so. It was with Markus two very nice and relaxing days. We were there with caravan and two dogs for two nights and have missed nothing. Super nice people, beautiful area, a lake where you can also jump in. We will definitely come again.

We spent three great days. The location was perfect for bike tours, even with dog trailers. A great place to unwind.
We felt very comfortable. Markus is an extremely friendly and open host, who is very concerned about the well-being of his guests. For every question he has an open ear, for every "little problem" he tries to find a solution. As "repeat offenders" we had again a relaxed time at the dike. "Markus, you won't get rid of us!" See you next time!
Because it was so nice on the way there as a stopover at Markus, I have made on the way back directly again there station and again super nice and relaxed there with my Gespann stood.
Very nice reception, beautiful place directly behind the Rhine dike under fruit trees. From there you can wonderfully walk or bike along the paths on and along the dikes to the Rhine. Gladly again 😀
The reception by the family was friendly and unobtrusive. On the property is enough space to choose for themselves the individually suitable pitch. Both the pitches and the surroundings are really very beautiful. Extensive walks are possible directly from the site. I felt very comfortable and very safe!
We were very nicely received by Markus. Everything was super uncomplicated and we felt very comfortable. Here you can relax very well and enjoy the beautiful green landscape. We will definitely come again. Thank you very much!

Markus has welcomed us very friendly. Electricity and water were provided without any problems. We could choose the pitch ourselves and have been able to spend a nice, quiet weekend for two with dog! Thank you very much for this, we come back very gladly

Freshly mowed meadow with solid ground. Location for us as dog owners brilliant. We found the personal welcome nice. Again and again with pleasure
... unfortunately I can not judge the quality, because my Camster is in the workshop and I could not take the booked appointment, but what I can judge is the communication skills of Markus. I have written to him 2x, unfortunately 0 reaction, too bad!!!

After a very uncomplicated and prompt communication before arrival we arrived today after 2 1/2 days well recovered back home. Thank you very much Markus! You know how to make strangers feel very welcome. THAT is hospitality. We spent a very quiet and relaxed time with you at the Rhine dike and enjoyed the good connection to the bike paths. The offered firewood and the provided fire bowl we have (unfortunately) put back unused, because we did not want to bother our pitch neighbors in the strong wind. All in all: VERY recommendable! Great pitch, very nice and attentive host, perfect location for people who can also stand "quiet" times, very good connection to the bike path network.
The place, the accommodation, the location, host Markus: it was all balm for the soul ☺️. A wonderful place with very friendly and seemingly soul-mate hosts to come to rest. We will definitely come back soon.

Ideal place to get a little distance from everything, very quiet location. Walking or cycling on the Rhine dike can be very good here. Sympathetic and uncomplicated host, come back with pleasure for a time out.
We were with our camper for a few days on the beautiful orchard . We liked the reception very much and in the meadow we found the peace and quiet we were looking for. Also hiking in the beautiful countryside has given us much pleasure. It was an all-round successful stay and we will be very happy to come back. Monika and Waldemar
We were here only two days, but it was beautiful. Between blossoming fruit trees on a meadow, with electricity and water. Directly on the bike path and super quiet, especially at night. Markus was very nice and uncomplicated. We will definitely come again, then longer. Kind regards Nicole

Beautiful place for our two motorhomes behind a barn with a view over meadows and on the dike. Markus provided us wonderfully with water, electricity and wood for a fire bowl. We enjoyed the walks around the dike to the Rhine. For cyclists certainly also a great location to make tours. Thank you Heike
An all-around nice weekend it was at Markus. We were welcomed friendly, had the free choice of site on the meadow and could choose whether we want to use the fireplace in the evening, or the fire bowl offered by Markus. There was wood on top of it. From the site you can look wonderfully over the fields and after a very quiet night we were rewarded with a beautiful sunrise. I myself have made two nice tours with the racing bike and also the walks across the meadows along the Rhine were very charming. A weekend like a little vacation, we will definitely come again.
Markus pitch is really great! A small fruit meadow directly on the dike. As a windbreak is the back of a warehouse, which was really very convenient! We spent New Year's Eve there and made raclette over an open fire, it was wonderful!
Very nice host, beautiful quiet meadow, directly on the cycle path Rhine dike. We are from the site 65 km with the bikes to Wesel and on the other side of the Rhine back, beautiful route. Were allowed to stay until the evening.
Nice host, with the electricity worked immediately. We have had a great time. Will definitely come back again.

For us it was only a short stay, but still a very nice one. We were friendly and warmly welcomed by the host. We chose a place, on the meadow between the fruit trees, whereupon the host has us the place or the pitch freshly mowed. Our small campfire in the evening was no problem, as well as our spontaneous fresh water intake the next morning. Also, the site was quite beautiful and quiet and you have the opportunity for a walk or bike ride, directly on the Lower Rhine bike path.
