We had a wonderful weekend here. The campsite is in a beautifully peaceful setting surrounded by nature—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Stefan was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. We felt completely at home and would definitely love to come back!
A place to stay! We had a fantastic time at this campsite. The location is absolutely idyllic, wonderfully quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The highlight is the Kneipp foot bath—perfect for a quick refreshment! The restroom was very clean. The adjacent bike path is perfect for beautiful rides! If you’re looking for unspoiled nature and a real “backcountry” feel, this is the place for you. Communication with Stefan went smoothly!
Highly recommended—I’d definitely stay there again! Stefan responded quickly, he was super nice, and everything went just as you’d hope—completely hassle-free! The campsite is located a bit outside of town, in a lovely, quiet, and idyllic spot on the edge of the forest.
The campsite is great. It’s a single-site spot with a huge parking area. There are men’s and women’s restrooms for guests’ use, as well as an electrical hookup. Communication with Stefan was excellent both before and during our stay. There are hiking trails and very well-maintained bike paths in the immediate vicinity. The Wenne River runs right through the town, and Lake Hennesee is very close by. Anyone looking for peace and quiet will find this the perfect spot, with everything they need still within easy reach.(Bakeries, etc., are within walking distance) We’ll definitely be back. Great campsite, with everything you need. A little oasis that Stefan makes available to campers, from which you can set out on short hikes or walks in the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable here and spent two relaxing days. Thanks to Stefan for the smooth communication. We’d come back anytime.
A quiet spot all to ourselves, with various places to sit... You can take the dog right into the woods. The restroom was very clean. Communicating with Stefan was easy and to the point 🙂 We'd love to come back—everything was great!
A very nice, quiet campsite! Plenty of space and clean restrooms. There’s a small pond right next to the campsite and a footbath for hikers and campers. Especially popular with kids. It’s also a great place to go biking. Highly recommended!!

Stefan organized everything perfectly, and communication went smoothly. Everything was clean, and to top it off, he even grows herbs for campers... What more could you ask for? We were able to relax wonderfully and felt completely at home. It was only one night, but it was fantastic. Thank you so much, Stefan—we’d love to come back again and again!😄

A definite recommendation! Our interaction with Stefan was perfect—it couldn’t have been nicer or better. The campsite had plenty of space, and the wading pool provided a refreshing way to cool off in the heat. All in all, it was a little oasis of well-being, and we’d love to come back—next time to go hiking as well; it was just too hot for that last weekend.
The campsite is in a truly quiet location and guarantees relaxation. Even during the incredibly hot days we’ve had lately, you could keep your cool here. Thanks to the wading pool, you could cool your feet, and the refreshing sensation spreads throughout your entire body. The restrooms on site are spotless, and the electrical hookup is easy to use. We had a pleasant and hassle-free interaction with the host, who would have been available at any time if needed. We’ll definitely be back.

Excellent! - Absolutely lovely! Smooth and very friendly communication. Stefan is truly very hospitable, and the place is beautiful! You have your peace and quiet and can just relax and unwind. Plus, the area is perfect for hiking and walking. We would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful roof tent getaway at this campsite in the heart of the Sauerland! With its cabin and plenty of seating, the site offers shelter even in bad weather and is idyllically situated by a pond. There are beautiful hiking trails all around, perfect for both short walks with the dog and longer hikes. Plus, the hosts leave no camper’s wish unfulfilled and have designed everything with great care. We’d love to come back! 🫶

We had a wonderful weekend at the campsite. The surroundings are beautiful. Stefan gave us a warm welcome and shared some tips with us. It was nicely secluded, just as we’d hoped, yet a bakery and other amenities are within walking distance. The wading pool was a real treat after our hike.

Such a beautiful place. You just stand there and hear absolutely nothing—no cars, no people. It’s simply wonderful. The host is very nice, goes out of his way to help, and is very friendly and easy to talk to. That’s exactly how it should be 👌🏻🤗
We had two fantastic nights at this wonderful spot in our camper. The setting was absolutely relaxing and peaceful. We received a very warm welcome, and our communication beforehand was friendly and efficient. We’d love to come back! Note: The ground is very hard, so you can’t drive stakes into it 😊
A really lovely place to relax! A very warm welcome from our host, Stefan. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and enjoy hiking in nature, this is the perfect spot. A spacious, gravel-covered area. There’s also a table and benches for picnics. The restroom is simple but clean. Right on the grounds, there’s a wading pool with seating and a small pond with a little bridge... just lovely! The only thing missing now is a shower—then the place would be perfect. We’ll be back!
If you're looking for peace and quiet and enjoy hiking, this is the perfect spot for you. We had the pleasure of being the first to stay at this campsite and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The site is wonderfully peaceful, situated above the village and right next to a hiking trail. After a hike, we rounded off the evening with excellent food (a great selection!) at the quaint village restaurant. **Especially great:** The site is also absolutely perfect for summer, as it’s right next to a stream. There are also two shelters and plenty of benches, which makes the area very cozy. The hosts gave us a warm welcome, and communication was quick and easy from the very start. The amenities (electricity via cable, cold water, toilet) are absolutely sufficient and exactly what you’d want for an authentic countryside experience. The price is also more than fair. Thank you so much for your hospitality—we’d love to come back.
