Large and quiet pitch in a very scenic location. The communication with Anna was nice and uncomplicated.
We had a great stay. Everything was super relaxed.
Pitch was sufficiently dry despite the rain. Pitch was therefore great. Pony rides for my grandson and playground ideal. The cake on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, highly recommended. Will definitely come back again.

Hello everyone, The stay was very nice, the place was huge and the hosts were very friendly. They have very delicious cake. 😁 Charly (my Havanese) and I felt very comfortable. I can only recommend it and we will definitely be back. Bianca and Charly from Krefeld
Just beautiful! huge meadow on which I was alone, super nice hostess.... relaxed atmosphere all around. The only downer: The Hofcafe was closed (I was really looking forward to the cake). If you are able to be self-sufficient, this is a very special place! Thank you for the hospitality you showed me. I would love to come back at any time!
Thank you for the quiet meadow with a great view. There is absolute peace and quiet and you can relax and hike.
We spent the night on a great large meadow, next to horses and donkeys. Great with a dog and child. In the morning we had breakfast in the sunshine. :) Unfortunately we got stuck with our 3.5 t camper van due to the soggy meadow, but even then we were helped very quickly by a tractor, which pulled us out again. Many thanks again! Gladly again!
We had a very nice time on the farm, with pony rides, great views and lots of nice people! We will definitely be back!
Great idyllic place on a large meadow where we were all alone. We were very friendly welcomed and briefed, although just a lot was still going on at the estate when we arrived. Gladly again!
The hosts are super friendly and the place on the meadow with a great view of the vast nature was brilliant 🤩. Bread , cheese and the cake from the farm store or Hofcafe are delicious. Also the variety of animals on the farm is outstanding. We will be happy to come back.

It was not our first time out at Gut Böckelühr. 😃 The hosts are very nice and helpful. We had again a great, quiet and relaxing time. We will be back again.
Our expectations were exceeded. An experience on the large meadow, fox, hare, roebuck and wild sheep came to visit. Coffee and farm store invite you to stay and shop, we enjoyed it, thanks also to the friendly owner.

We were very friendly received by the hosts and led to our place. We were allowed to park our van on the edge of a large meadow and had our peace and quiet despite heavy activity on the equestrian farm and have enjoyed the idyll and nature very much. In the café there was very tasty cake and a cappuccino at normal prices to enjoy with a hearty view. In the farm store there is fresh bread, delicious jams and much more. In the adjacent forest area we could go for a super walk with the dogs and were very happy about the children on the ponies. It is a small paradise. We felt like we were at Bibi and Tina, only Amadeus and Sabrina were missing 🥰. We would like to stay much longer and were certainly not the last time here! Many thanks to the whole team of Anna. Great camping stay. The landscape is beautiful, a great cafe is also on site, the cake and pies super delicious, just great. Whether young or old, all had their fun. We will be happy to come back.

We were for 2 days aif Anna's estate. We had a huge meadow all to ourselves, especially for our dog totally super. The view was magnificent. Everyone we met from the farm was very friendly and always had a grin on their lips. Delicious cakes, ice cream or something from the farm store - everything your heart desires, you could buy virtually at the "front door". At peak times (pony rides) it was of course a bit busy, but we did not mind ;-) We will definitely come again. :-)
Beautiful meadow and beautiful pony farm with very nice hostess. After so about 18:00 clock most pony farm visitors and cafe guests have departed, one is alone with the animals of the pony farm and the wild animals. We watched deer, rabbits, a red kite (!), kestrels, buzzards, sparrows, starlings, blackbirds, and lots of other birds we didn't recognize from the camper. Bring a bike: The area is perfect for beautiful tours. Good condition or an electric bike will make it easier!
The location is very quiet. Next time we will definitely come when the Hofcafe is open. Anna even sent us a little video with directions. Unfortunately, we did not meet her in person, but the girls who were on site were also very helpful. On that note, keep up the good work. All the best family B. and Lisa

I had a very nice stay. I was very nicely welcomed and was allowed to choose a place on the large wide meadow, I enjoyed it very much, the wide view in the distance, the nature around and also the delicious cakes and pies in the café. Very gladly again ! Beautiful hinterland near the big city 😀
Great place on a meadow on a mountain with a super beautiful setting! When we arrived we first stocked up on bread and other goodies. The surrounding area invites you to hike and mountain bike. After an extraordinary sunset we were visited by fireflies.
The view on the square is sensational! Unfortunately, the farm store and café were not open before we had to drive again.
Thank you very much for the hospitality. We could super switch off and were more than satisfied with our place. The bread and jam from the shop are the HAMMER! Come again with pleasure.
The hostess was very friendly. The cafe has very tasty cakes. And a large playground. Our pitch was away from the day tourists and therefore very quiet. The place is definitely recommended. We will definitely come back again! We felt very comfortable and for the children was the pony rides a highlight!
The place was very idyllic, in the middle of the field, a great view! Anna has welcomed us very sympathetically and was always available for any questions! The highlight for our daughter was definitely the large playground and pony rides! We will definitely be back!

Spontaneously, we decided to go to the estate and also got a confirmation very quickly. We felt mega comfortable and we stood alone on a huge field. During the day our kids played on the great playground and rode ponies and in the evening we got a free fire bowl and firewood, so we could make a small campfire at the site. At dinner, the sheep visited us and got their strokes. In the morning at 9 o'clock briefly to the farm store, which actually opens only at 11 o'clock, and a freshly baked bread for breakfast fetched. All in all, a very great and especially very nice visit. We will definitely come back again.
Our second stay here. Quick, uncomplicated booking, very relaxed hosts. When the day trippers are gone, you have the meadow regularly to yourself. Meadow is large enough that you can play wonderful soccer. Not 500m from the pitches is a wind turbine that whirs at night. It does not bother us.

The hostess was very friendly. We were on a day of rest of the cafe in the parking lot and stood there only with another camper. However, the adjacent road was used by guests of the pony farm. The night it was very quiet. Unfortunately, the next morning we were insulted by a neighbor as wild campers. The hostess wants to designate the places for Hinterland Camp still with signs so that such a thing does not happen to other guests.
The hostess is nice, the farm is very nicely designed and the hiking trails, among others, into the forest start directly from the farm. When we arrived there in the late morning, we were thrilled by the large, open meadow that was far from the hustle and bustle of the farm. Unfortunately, after returning from our hike, we were then blocked by other cars whose guests wanted to visit the Hofcafe. The unrest caused by other cars and people walking around, who looked at us virtually on the dining table did not tear off. Since we could find no peace there and us visibly stupid with our chairs in the parking lot we packed up and drove home. For us, this has nothing to do with backcountry camping, this was paid standing in a parking lot, at a busy experience gastronomy. Fairly, you should also specify this in the description, because even the photo (red van on wide meadow) suggests otherwise.
