A super quiet campsite with a great fire pit. The hosts are really nice. We had a great time and would love to come back!
There are some campsites you’d rather not review at all, just so you can be sure to get a spot there again in the future. This one definitely falls into that category. We went back to stay with Max and his incredibly friendly family for a second time. It was like coming home. Pure idyll. You might even spot an escaped chicken running around. We’ll definitely be back.
You couldn't ask for a better spot: a perfect view on one side and horses and donkeys on the other. Plus, Max is a really nice host. We booked the next night right away. Thank you so much!
Our first experience in the countryside, and it couldn’t have been better! We decided on a whim to reach out to Max and were warmly invited to drop by—that’s what camping is all about! The farm is a dream, beautifully situated in the Bergisches Land region with stunning views, whether we were having breakfast in front of the RV or sitting by the fire pit in the evening. We’ll have to come back to explore the various hiking options Max told us about, because we felt so at home on the farm with the host family that it was hard for our daughter and us to say goodbye. We’ll be back! Absolute idyll and peace, just like in “Bullerbü”—highly recommended.
A wonderful place, warm hosts, friendly neighbors, and an outstanding atmosphere! Since it was a holiday and the shops were closed, we were spontaneously treated to grilled sausages, and the kids got to go horseback riding under expert guidance. The surroundings are just as beautiful as the farm: castle ruins, a cave, and a farm stand in the village—all within walking distance. Thank you for a relaxing and entertaining weekend! Highly recommended from start to finish. We’d love to come back!

Here, everything is still just right. A relaxing stay surrounded by horses, donkeys, chickens, and cats. The hosts have a big heart for both people and animals. Thank you so much for everything. We’ll definitely be back!
Very nice place I recommend it 100%! Beautiful view, all quiet, nice fire spot, horses and donkeys just next to us, a nice walk to castel ruins in the forest 10min from there... the kids could even ride a horse and we received fresh apple juice! Very nice contact with the landlords and smooth communication, thanks!!!
Thank you so much for this beautiful place surrounded by nature and farm animals. The hosts are very kind and treat the animals with great care and affection. There are lovely hiking trails right from the farm. I felt very comfortable here and would love to come back.
