Everything was great. As the previous reviewers mentioned, the restroom situation isn't ideal. We were lucky—we were the only ones there, so we basically had a private restroom 😊—but we're still deducting a point for that. Otherwise, everything was great. Our daughter also found the animals there really exciting.

We were only there for two nights and wouldn't want to stay any longer. The pitch on which you stand is quite nice and you can choose your pitch. The path to the sanitary facilities is a bit awkward between the paved area behind the house and the event meadow. On the negative side, there is only one toilet for campers, which is integrated into the room with the shower and not separate. So it is not possible to use the toilet when someone is showering. Extremely unpleasant if you have to wait outside the room when you need to go urgently. This needs to be improved in order to be able to recommend this place. It is nice that there is a restaurant in the inner courtyard that serves delicious food. In summer you can sit in the shady courtyard and in the colder months you can sit inside and, if it's not raining, on a sun terrace. You pay €14 via Hinterland and €10 directly on site for the night. It's definitely a place for a short stay or just passing through.
The pitches are good, but unfortunately one shower and one toilet are not enough for the number of pitches. But we'll still be back. Because the great location, the very good cuisine and the good wine are convincing.
Very clean, very attentive and friendly
Super nice pitch on a beautiful estate. We were there all by ourselves and spent our honeymoon there, so to speak. In the evening we had a delicious meal in the restaurant and then snuggled up in the van. However, there is one comment: there is only one shower and one toilet. And we had to use the washbasin as a sink at the same time. In the high season, there is one sanitary facility for twenty campers, which we feel is not enough if you calculate at least two people per camper. Nevertheless, full points.
Great place
Very friendly and relaxed hosts. Nice pitch on the meadow with electricity. Delicious wines and food. Very beautiful surroundings for hiking and cycling. What more could you want. We will definitely be back.

Satellite TV reception was not possible on the pitch during the European Championships as tall trees were blocking the signal. The access road to Bonnheimer Hof and the pitch has many deep holes. The place is expensive.
As "Womo beginners", we only spent one night on the farm. We were well supplied with fresh water and toilet facilities and had a quiet pitch. After a little wine tasting, we were able to eat very well in the farm restaurant. All the staff we met were very nice and attentive.
The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, the shower and toilet were not cleaned during the 3 days. There was also only one toilet and one shower for men and women together. Too bad ☹️, but the pitch is nice.
We were very satisfied . The pitches at the farm are very narrow , awning could not have been extended , but we did not mind because we were there in autumn . We enjoyed the walks through the vineyards very much . The great food at adequate prices was very good and the wines too . We will be happy to come back again. LG Katja
Very nice place for the family. The animals in the enclosures are great, the food tastes good, nice staff and beautifully decorated inside and out, fantastic view of the vineyards, bakery a few minutes away by bike, large playground for (small) children also within easy reach, even on foot. Beautiful location, access a bit bumpy and well frequented at the weekend. Sanitary facilities borderline for the amount, a toilet and a shower in one room, everyone has to decide for themselves how they like it; not ideal for us the first time. The second time we arranged everything differently from the outset and it no longer affected us. Water supply and disposal available and easy to reach.

You can park either directly at the house (a bit narrow, paved) or on the lawn (further away from the toilet, regarding electricity you have to agree with neighbors, but quieter and nicer view). The farm offers a Gutsschänke with very good food and a nice wine selection. The bakery is less than 5 minutes by bike. There is one point deduction for the sanitary situation. A toilet + sink + shower (all in one room) leads to waiting times, that would have to be more for the number of places.
We were there in September 2021 already once and have this place on our "little tour" of Cologne in the Black Forest deliberately chosen because it is simply beautiful - if you choose a place at the pastures next to chickens, horses, ostriches and what else is running around there (provided you do not need electricity - there is of course also on the pitches directly behind the house). Matthias has created there in the last 20 years from an old farm a super location, which in addition to pitches also has a great beer garden and several stylish rooms as a restaurant . . . and a vinotheque with great wines there is "on top". Who wants to experience a special place, which stands out from the usual "monotony", is in good hands there. And who is still halfway "good on foot", it also makes it on foot to Bad Kreuznach - and back.
We were at the end of July for a long weekend at the Bonnheimer Hof. The farm, the restaurant and the meadow for camping are very good. However, you can only register with the staff in the restaurant from 17:00. Before that there is no possibility to use a toilet. The bathroom solution is also definitely expandable. On the weekend we counted 18 campers. There is a shower with a WC. Also the possibility to rinse is in the shower bathroom. We found that already very scarce. However, the bathroom (unfortunately without ventilation) was always clean! On weekends, the Bonnheimer Hof also hosts events, such as weddings. The music was good, but it was not too early to think of a good night's sleep. You can be prepared for that if you don't go to bed early anyway, like we did. In the roof tent you have no insulation. The surrounding area is suitable for hiking, rim driving and wine drinking! We enjoyed our stay and can also recommend the place, if you are not necessarily looking for absolute peace and seclusion. The hosts are very friendly and the staff very accommodating.
We come for the second time and this time with friends. Location, pitch on the meadow with electricity, wine and gastronomy top!!! And then the sunflower fields to walk, a dream! Our friends also liked it very much.
We were on the farm in June and were overwhelmed. The whole property with the many animals, the courtyard and the sun terrace with the brilliant food. The pitch on the well-kept lawn ... Everything was the hammer 😊 the pitch on the meadow was quiet and you could walk or bike from there. Vorallem nice if you travel like us with the dog. Also the can make here nice acquaintances. Actually, you should not pass on such a tip to get yourself always a free pitch😜 But from us a clear recommendation for everything. We come back soon and bring friends. It was a very nice stay with delicious food and good wine. The pitch on the lawn behind the house was very quiet and fully met our expectations. We will definitely come again.
We were there with a van for 4 days (3 nights). The farm was beautifully designed and maintained. The handling with the staff on site was smooth and you were received friendly. A toilet / shower was available and always clean. The food and wine in the restaurant were great. We will be happy to come back again.
We spent 2 days here and were very satisfied. One must remember, it is not a professional campsite, but a winery, which offers campers a possibility for a stopover. Therefore, it can also sometimes happen that family celebrations / weddings / events take place. However, we have not found this disturbing. Various pitches are provided on asphalt or on a meadow, with electricity or without. Disposal gray water / chemical toilet and water refueling are also possible. Toilet with shower is available once. We used the stay for wine tasting and purchase of wine. When buying wine above a certain amount, even the pitch fee is charged. There are several animal enclosures on the site, a beer garden and a sun terrace with catering. Opening hours are on the Internet. We definitely come back regularly to replenish our wine stock. The pitch "Bonnheimer Hof" is highly recommended. Good, level pitches on the paved courtyard in the very well-kept environment of a / large country restaurant / winery / event location. Electricity, supply and disposal are available, WiFi is free and for an extra charge you can use a large, clean room with shower, washing facilities and toilet. In the restaurant itself you can eat very well and there is a possibility of wine tasting. The excellent wine can be bought on the spot at reasonable prices. If you buy wine for more than 50,- €, you don't have to pay the parking fee of 10,- €. For those who like to enjoy a good drop, a real offer.
we were on a road trip and spontaneously used the request and booking. everything went smoothly. we ate in the restaurant. the next morning we had breakfast in the vineyards.
Very level place, friendly hosts, very quiet!
Wonderfully located is the country estate / winery Bonnheimer Hof - surrounded by beautiful nature. In the off-season, the fact that there is only a combined shower / toilet was no problem. Very nice host family - were able to choose a pitch with a view of the Ziegenturm. We will definitely be back!!! Large children's playground (a short distance away) and beautiful animal enclosure were a magnet for our child!!!

Super location, nice pitches( with and without electricity), delicious food, nice reception. Only the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. We would come again.
It is a large, professionally well-run winery with restaurant and div. animal enclosures. The wines are delicious, the food, enjoyed in the courtyard also, the service staff are friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were tiptop; however, it may quickly become cramped with a shower and a toilet. One can, by arrangement, stand in many places. The paved area was not my's, at the fallow deer enclosure it was nicer but also not oberlauschig. In this respect, 4 stars from me.
Friendly staff and good pitches for a short vacation. Good gastronomy. Good starting point for cycling tours to the Rhine. During outdoor events at night a little noisy.
We felt very comfortable at the Bonnheimer Hof. Wonderful location, everyone was friendly and we could make a mini wine tasting very cheap (is also in the drink menu of the restaurant). We could use the toilet and fill up fresh water for little money. If several campers or caravans come, the one toilet or shower is probably too little. Thank you for everything!
We were here with the camper for three nights. And of course as guests in the restaurant. The food is good and the prices reasonable. For camping vacations the farm offers various pitches or tent sites. Both in the yard, as well as on the green areas. With the green spaces must be clear that these are all on a bike path / hiking trails / forest trail and are frequented accordingly. Some sites have electricity, none have water. However, there is a tap in the courtyard. For campers there is a wet room with sink, toilet and shower. When we were there there was no waiting time. And it was also quite clean. If all the places are occupied, however, this could look different. Unfortunately, it was not very quiet. Since the restaurant is apparently often events are loud music and guests are not excluded. The farm is fantastically located in the vineyards. Good starting point for bike tours and hikes. Wet cell costs 2.50 € per person per night. Overnight stay per camper 10€. Electricity costs extra. But we have not needed. I think it was also 2.50 € per day.
The pitch is in principle very nice. Unfortunately, this was booked far beyond its capacity. For over 20 motorhomes only one washroom incl. toilet is available. This was accordingly extremely overcrowded. The cleanliness was also poor under the circumstances, which unfortunately did not change much even after cleaning. Very sad, because the location is very nice.
Great location, courteous hosts, delicious food and good wine - we felt very comfortable. Only sanitary was problematic, better would be toilet and shower separately, because with only 1 toilet constantly someone was waiting and if showered, it can take ;-)
Beautiful pitches, for camper and caravan. With electricity in the yard without meadow, just behind the beautiful courtyard. The self-sufficient pitches are magnificently located, just in front of the vineyards, near the fenced animals of various kinds with wonderful views. Only one "washing compartment" for all paying guests together, with sink, shower and separate toilet, very spacious, clean, but with 5 € per person yet already expensive. Great food in the wonderful courtyard, delicious wines and very friendly to all guests. Very relaxed possibility to dispose of gray and black water, fresh water free. Under construction still a nice children's playground and a newly built pool. We have recovered well for three days, could take beautiful walks through the vineyards and drink delicious wines in the evening. Baker in about 10 min walking distance, other shopping facilities in Bad Kreuznach ( about 3km).
The stay at the Bonnheimer Hof winery was very nice. The food and wine are excellent. The staff is also very friendly. We personally did not like the actual pitch because too close to the neighbor and behind the supply tract. Therefore, we have placed us on the lawn in front of the "brick tower". There it was nice and the view of the vineyards was perfect.
Beautiful pitch right next to the vineyards. The many animals have inspired us, we have eaten and drunk delicious. The evening on the meadow with the statues with a last glass of wine in the moonlight was just wonderful.
Wonderful spot, very nice hosts, very good food, delicious wine, everything was perfect for a long weekend , we come back very gladly !

The paved site is located behind the restaurant and is very quiet. A service station with disposal and fresh water is available.shower and toilet can be booked to the pitch.the food in the restaurant is super tasty and the wine is very tasty.
Everything was good and pleasant. I would like it if extra costs are indicated in the ad. For example, sanitation 5 euros - electricity 10 euros plus. Then one is not surprised on site. Thanks again

The stay there - unfortunately only one night - was one of our camping highlights. We had previously made us about the Bonnheimer Hof on their homepage and read that you can also stand at the pastures, if you do not need electricity and had then briefly contacted Mathias by mail and expressed our desire for a place at the pastures including reservation of a table for the evening in the restaurant. We immediately received a positive response. Long speech - short sense. The pitch at the pastures and everything around it were fantastic. The property with its spaciousness, the pastures and the animals as well as the restaurants etc. is the hammer. We will definitely go there again - but then plan more time, stay at least 2 nights and try again to stand without electricity at the pastures - the pitches behind the house with electricity were also okay, but rather pitches for a short stay.
