I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’d like to share my impressions here. We (two people) stopped here for one night while traveling through in our camper. The description and photos looked very promising, which is why we chose this spot. The hosts were nice and friendly. Another positive is the proximity to the highway. The site is located in a rural area, so it’s very quiet here. Most of the site is on a grassy field, framed by the residential house and the commercial building. There’s a large above-ground hot tub on the site. The single shower and toilet (in one room) are shared with all the other guests. Access is through the commercial building. Water and sewage disposal are available but cumbersome (some services require an extra fee). What stands out as a major negative is the price. The price charged here is, in our opinion, absolutely unjustified. For the same amount of money, you can get a 5-star campground in the Bavarian Forest with all the bells and whistles. Even in a very well-known vacation region in Austria (where we’re from), we paid even less for a campground with a sauna, swimming pool, and much more. In our opinion, even half the fee is still too much—even during peak season. A rate of 25–30 € per night would be more appropriate here. Therefore, we probably won’t be coming back. Response from the hosts: Thank you very much for your feedback. We’re sorry that the value for money at our campsite didn’t meet your expectations. Our privately run Hinterland campsite is intentionally designed to offer a peaceful, nature-oriented overnight experience away from larger campgrounds. The secluded location, personal touch, and limited occupancy are particularly appreciated by many of our guests. Our prices, as well as the included and optionally bookable services, are clearly presented before booking. Since, as we understand it, your feedback mainly concerns the price, we were surprised by the one-star rating. We would have been pleased if the location, the personal welcome, and the overall stay had also been factored into the rating. Due to a last-minute family situation, we were unfortunately unable to give you our usual attention on the day of your arrival. As a small personal gesture, we therefore gave you a jar of our own honey to take with you. The price range of 25 to 30 euros per night, which you described as reasonable, would amount to only 12.50 to 15 euros per person for two people. According to your understanding, this would apparently include not only the campsite but also use of the pool, the bathroom, and electricity. However, such a total price is not economically viable for us, as we must already factor in operating costs as well as the effort involved in preparation, supervision, cleaning, and follow-up. Even as a privately run campsite, we must calculate our prices in a way that ensures the business and the services we offer can continue to be provided at an appropriate level of quality over the long term. Furthermore, comparing the price of a single overnight stay to that of a longer stay is only possible to a limited extent. The effort involved in preparation, organization, arrival, welcoming guests, and subsequent cleaning is incurred even for a stay of just one night. For longer stays, this effort is spread over several nights, which may result in lower prices per night. You can also request customized rates for longer stays when requesting a quote from Hinterland. The bathroom and electricity usage were not selected as additional services at the time of booking. We generally do not offer a disposal service for the contents of portable toilets. However, after the stay, an unexpectedly high amount of cleaning work was required in the restroom area. We subsequently attempted to clarify the use of the additional services and the resulting costs directly and transparently, and for this purpose, among other things, requested the necessary billing information. Unfortunately, we have not yet received a response, so a personal clarification has not been possible so far. We take feedback seriously and use it to further improve our information and processes. At the same time, we hope that reviews will take into account the booked services, the general conditions, and the entire stay in as balanced a manner as possible. The chance to have your own private pool while hinterlanding… nice experience, friendly hosts, bathroom/shower new and delightful.
Very friendly, accommodating hosts, great pool (we also had fantastic weather☀️), and very good, clean restroom facilities. We also took advantage of the nice bread roll service and picked up some delicious honey. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

It was a really cozy campsite with a hot tub, which we enjoyed using! The hosts are super nice, friendly, and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need :)
Our expectations were far exceeded. A warm, welcoming atmosphere despite being busy with work and family every day.
We highly recommend this farm. Communication leading up to our stay was excellent. We received recommendations for places to visit, which we took advantage of. The pool was nice and warm. There’s also a large trampoline. Any concerns were addressed immediately. Lisa and Guido are always available to answer questions. The two children on the farm are also very considerate and loving when interacting with younger children. We highly recommend this place. The homemade pizza was also very tasty, as was the farm’s wine.
During our stay with these lovely hosts, we wanted for nothing. It’s a wonderful place that we wholeheartedly recommend. We were able to add an excellent and hearty breakfast to our booking; it was made with love, and our special requests were also taken into account. All the best to you, and see you next time.
Super pitch in a good location, not far from the highway but absolutely quiet. The highlight is the great whirlpool on a beautifully designed terrace next to a fire bowl. Super nice hosts, great welcome, good communication. We even got warm popcorn :) and would love to come back.

A wonderful stay on a charming little hill. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The bathroom is luxuriously appointed and the heated pool adds to the comfort. I highly recommend this place and hope to return soon to try out the cottage!
Very friendly reception & great place. Not far from the A9, although you can't hear it on the pitch. The beautiful pool also offered us a pleasant way to cool off in the heat.
My pug Fanni and I were warmly welcomed to this great place. We were looked after throughout our stay, including homemade pizza, salad and drinks in the evening. Lisa even called me to see if she could bring me something from the shops. I've never had such great hosts. The courtyard is lovingly designed and everything is super neat and clean, which is also reflected in the great guest bathroom and the fantastic 10 m pool where you can really swim. Many, many thanks again to Lisa and Guido for everything. We will definitely be back 🥰🤗
If you are looking for a pitch on a beautiful rural farm, Lisa and Guido are the right people for you. The farm is easy to reach. You can also book the large pool for a refreshing dip. Worth its weight in gold in this weather! The hosts are also very friendly and welcoming. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much! 😊
