Welcome to the green heart of Wernswig! We’re Holger & Ela! We’re passionate gardeners and are delighted to welcome you here. You’ll find an idyllic old estate with a spacious park garden and mature trees. Especially on warm days, the shady trees ensure pleasant temperatures and make your stay particularly cozy. We offer a variety of recreational activities: whether badminton, Viking chess, Indiaka, table tennis, billiards, or various board games—you’ll never get bored here. Many different seating areas invite you to relax and enjoy nature. The best way to spend long, warm summer nights here is by the fire pit, rounding off the evening with bread on a stick or marshmallows. Via our meadow path, you can reach the Ecklädchen in just a few minutes. There you’ll find regional foods, fresh baked goods, meat and sausage products, eggs, honey, and much more. Additional shopping options are available in the neighboring towns. On hot days, the nearby Silbersee is a wonderful place to swim. There are also other recreational activities available here. Ela and Holger are perfect hosts—always available, very friendly, helpful, and they had some great suggestions for day trips for us. The garden with all its lovely nooks and crannies, the superbly equipped summer kitchen—furnished with so much love—the fire pit for the evenings, the ping-pong table and pool table, and even floating boards and water hammocks to take to the lake, the beautiful old trees… Go check it out for yourselves—we wholeheartedly recommend this green oasis 🫶🏼
