I highly recommend staying with Thomas—it’s one of the most beautiful campsites I’ve ever visited. The small site is very well-maintained and easy to get to, but once you arrive, you’re right in the middle of nature. I’ll definitely be back. 😊
We had a wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this campsite. The site is directly accessible by car and features a level grassy area. You’ll find pleasant shade under the apple tree—a big plus, especially on warm days. The fantastic panoramic view of the valleys is simply breathtaking, and the absolute tranquility makes for perfect relaxation. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The restroom was also clean and well-maintained. All in all, a great campsite with fantastic hiking areas nearby—we’d love to return anytime.
Yeah, Thomas is a great guy. A part-time farmer—hats off to him! Thanks so much for letting us legally stay the night in our camper at your place. Coming from OWL, it’s a dreamlike sight to look out over your fairgrounds. My family in the rooftop tent; me in my bivy sack. Endless barbecuing. A full moon. Simply wonderful. I hope we can make it work and stop by again on our way back. In any case, your spot on the farm is definitely worth recommending! And it makes you want to stay longer. Have a great rest of the week.

A truly beautiful campsite with a spectacular view. Communicating with Thomas was easy and friendly from the start, even though he wasn’t there in person. We had a very quiet and relaxing night and felt completely at home. Thank you so much for letting us stay here!

We were passing through and stayed here in a super quiet and idyllic spot. The contact went quickly and smoothly. We will definitely be back.
A wonderful place if you want to stay in the area for a while. The pitch is at the top of a mountain. You can look down into the valley in three directions and what a view it is! The pitch is away from the farm and you are more or less alone here (apart from cows, foxes, bats and I think I saw an owl). Three circular hiking routes lead past the pitch. A good way to get to know the area. Small handicap: at the end of the tour you have to get back up the mountain. :-) The insider tip is Verena's breakfast. For a fee, Verena puts together a wonderful breakfast. We Saupreiß asked for a Bavarian theme and so we had veal sausage, roast meat, bread rolls, pretzels and cheese. But also homemade butter, yoghurt, jam and honey. Verena and Thomas are wonderful hosts. We are very grateful for their hospitality. LG, Andrea and Michael
Super clean pitch with an incredibly beautiful view. Unfortunately we were only there for one night in bad weather. But we enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back if we're in the area again!
