Michael & Kristina... ...tell you! In earlier times, our "estate" was a farm. Flour was grown and milled here. From stories we learned that in the 1970s the mill pond dried up, not entirely voluntarily, and the mill had to be taken out of service. After all, a children's holiday camp was set up here in GDR times and belonged to the Dessau magnetic tape factory. So there are many wonderful stories and adventures in the air here and some of them can still be seen and felt. Our own lost place with life breathed into it. After many years of standstill, we came across what felt like a "primeval forest"... nature has reclaimed quite a few things. And this is exactly what makes this place so special.

  • Michael and Kristina are simply fantastic hosts! Since it was the first time my daughter and I had spent the night in a tent, we naturally had a lot of questions and needed a little help and advice. They were both great and were there for us every step of the way. The absolute highlight for us was the animals. My daughter even got to help feed them, which made her incredibly proud. Of course, she told everyone all about it when we got home. At night, we had a clear sky—the kind you never see in the big city. We were able to admire a beautiful starry sky and even see a few shooting stars. Just amazing! The campground is nice and spacious, and we were able to choose where we wanted to set up our tent. That was super convenient. We enjoyed everything very much and will definitely be back.

  • We booked at the very last minute, but everything worked out. We were just passing through and stayed for one night. Our estimated arrival time was supposed to be 10 p.m., but everything was delayed significantly, so we didn’t arrive until midnight. Even then, Michael was still there and welcomed us. A nice, quiet spot. We’d love to come back.

  • A wonderful, peaceful spot and very friendly hosts. It was pretty hot when we were there, so we were all the more grateful for the shady spot we were able to choose for ourselves. Breakfast with a view across the wide field—what more could you ask for? 😄

  • A small, secluded farmstead nestled in beautiful natural surroundings. The site is quiet and shaded, and we were able to choose our own spot. Exceptionally friendly hosts!

  • Our stay with them was excellent. We had the choice of joining the family or enjoying the solitude of the open meadow. We chose the open meadow and had a wonderfully peaceful night. We had a really nice interaction with them—they were both very attentive and kind. I highly recommend this place. The only thing to keep in mind is that you really need to be self-sufficient.

  • Dear Kristina, dear Michael, thank you so much for the wonderful weekend at your place 🙏 There’s so much to explore, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Peace and quiet, relaxation, staying active—everything is possible. You’re both so friendly and welcoming, and if you’re interested, you can learn a lot about the history of the property. We loved it and give it 5 ⭐️+
