Hey, I was born in '83 and prefer to be out and about in my self-built Citroën Jumper. Because I know how nice a quiet spot in the countryside can be, I like to share my own pitch in 53809 Ruppichteroth with other campers. The pitch is ideally located for hiking and cycling - perfect for anyone who wants to be active outdoors. I look forward to meeting nice people and having good conversations around the barbecue.

You can tell right away that the owner is a camper himself: The site is designed with great attention to detail, from the beautiful panoramic view to the fire pit and hammock, right down to the unique restroom, and so on. We felt completely at home. We especially appreciated the fencing, which allowed our blind dog to run around freely and safely. Even with two other campers there, we had plenty of space and privacy. The guestbook and the handy QR codes are lovely extras👍And last but not least, the price is more than fair. Thank you so much for sharing this special place with us—we’d love to come back! What a wonderful spot! You can really see the attention to detail here. My dachshund and I loved having the place all to ourselves and were able to run around freely in the fenced-in area :) We’ll definitely be back!
I booked the campground this time for my mother, who was passing through and stopped here for a layover. She was absolutely thrilled with the beautifully designed campground. Unfortunately, it rained nonstop, so she’ll definitely come back when the weather forecast is better. I’ll be visiting the campground again in September with a few friends.

Dear Stefan, first of all, thank you so much for providing us with such a lovingly maintained campsite. We stayed at Stefan’s campsite for two nights with our roof tent, in mixed weather. Everything went smoothly. We arrived and felt right at home. Stefan went out of his way to make sure the site had everything we needed. Even during rain and thunderstorms, we were able to relax comfortably under the covered seating area. In the evenings, we sat by the cozy campfire spot, and there’s also a beautifully appointed toilet cabin with a dry-separation toilet. But the real highlight is the homemade lounge for unwinding and relaxing. We had two wonderful days with Stefan. There are great hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. For those seeking absolute peace and quiet, however, it should be noted that the site is located right next to a busy main road—though this didn’t bother us, and it became very quiet at night.
A lovely spot perfect for taking a short walk with the dog. Stefan was a friendly and helpful host. We’d love to come back.
It was just AMAZING. We'll definitely be back, and we'd recommend this place to anyone who loves it and wants to escape the stress of everyday life.
For my wife, me, and our dog, this was one of the best places we’ve visited so far. The weather was perfect, too. There are plenty of opportunities for walks with the dog and hikes in the area. Unfortunately, we only had a brief chance to talk with Stefan. We’ll definitely be back. The fenced-in property was very relaxing for us and our dog, so we were able to enjoy our stay to the fullest. A lovingly designed campsite in a lush, idyllic setting. The restroom was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The site was easy to find and easily accessible.

A beautiful meadow perfect for relaxing. The fire pit is great, and the shelter with benches and a table is the perfect spot for getting together. There are wonderful paths for walking, and the adjacent forest is the perfect place for curious kids 😊 We’ll be back.

We have visited this great. We have visited it before and were so impressed that we came again. The place is now completely fenced in which was a dream for our dog and us too 😍. We will of course come again. A place where you can relax wonderfully.

Stefan was a very reliable and helpful host. We were able to clarify everything in advance and had a great time on the pitch. The fireplace with dry wood and the seating area are great for a cozy evening! The road is very close, but there is little to no traffic in the evening/night, so it doesn't bother us.
The overnight stay was fantastically beautiful 🥰, we felt super comfortable. Everything you need for a cozy evening is there. Fire barrel, wood, barbecue, seating, 😍everything else is on board. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much for letting us spend the night in this beautiful spot 😍
A very pleasant place - highly recommended! 🔥 There is a fire pit, electricity, benches and wood for the campfire. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. All you have to do is drive there, scan the QR code on the gatepost, check in and pay. Then simply remove the chain and drive in. Really highly recommended! 🌲✨
A lovingly decorated place with a fire bowl and seating area. Stefan stopped by for a chat. The pizza delivery service also found us without any problems. We'd love to come back - the planned quad bike tour nearby unfortunately had to be canceled due to the weather 😔 but now we know where we can stay for the rescheduled date!
We had a wonderful stay at Camp Hinterwald in the Bergisches Land. The campsite only has three pitches - making it pleasantly quiet and informal. Host Stefan is incredibly warm and helpful. You feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The fireplace right on site is particularly nice - perfect for cozy evenings. There is plenty of wood available and electricity can be used for a small donation - this is really not a matter of course and rounds off the offer perfectly. The pitches are well-kept, spacious and in the middle of nature. If you are looking for peace, closeness to nature and a personal, relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back and can recommend this site without reservation!
Very nice little place that is cool and lovingly designed. Everything as described in the description. You can't hear anything from the street at night. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back next year. Many thanks to Stefan for this beautiful place!

Nice place with many little things that are already on site. Unfortunately you can hear the cars a lot, it depends on you whether you let it bother you. Great view to the rear and very helpful hosts ☺️
Beautiful pitch, which I also had all to myself. But even if that hadn't been the case, everyone would have had more than enough space. Stefan is a super nice and uncomplicated host. The site is absolutely quiet, during the day the road passing by is moderately busy, but not at all in the evening/night. If you are looking for a nice place as a starting point for hikes or bike tours, this is the place for you.
