We spent a lovely evening under the walnut tree. We received a very warm welcome. The night was very quiet—there’s a great farm stand and a lake (no dogs allowed!!) nearby.
Everything was great, everyone was really nice, and nothing was missing. I highly recommend it!!

Nice, warm welcome from the host. Farm shop nearby with free-range eggs and veggies. Toilet in the yard is clean and offers a selection of sunscreen and deodorants. Small towels to dry your hands. This makes the difference between "just a wc" and "a place where you feel welcomed". The surroundings to one side is very industrial, but if you park with the view over the small field and walnut trees its a great view.

Amélie is very welcoming. The location is really nice, with a view of the orchards. It's a very quiet spot. And thanks for the zucchini 😉 I highly recommend it.
Very warm and friendly communication both before arrival and on-site. Great location for quickly stocking up on groceries (Netto or the farm stand) and getting to the lake (less than 5 minutes by bike). The campsite is on the edge of an orchard meadow. I’d like to give it a 9/10 rating because the photos didn’t show that you’re staying just a few meters from an industrial park. There wasn’t much traffic here, but a van did pull up late in the evening, and employees were coming and going early in the morning. I don’t really see this as a problem in itself, but it would be helpful if there were photos showing this aspect so guests could be prepared. Overall, I’m very glad this option exists and that private property is being made available to others. That’s why I’m rounding up and giving it 5 stars :)
We were greeted very warmly; they showed us around and asked if we needed anything else, and told us to let them know if we had any questions. Very pleasant hosts; the campsite is very centrally located, so you can easily reach everything you need on foot. It was still quiet, though we were only there for two days over the weekend. Even though the campsite is in an industrial area, it’s very quiet. We really enjoyed it. Thanks, Bernadette

We had a wonderful time in perfect summer weather in the small orchard under the walnut tree at Theresa and Amelie’s place! Very kind and helpful hosts! We were able to help ourselves to the ripe cherries and enjoyed the proximity to the nearest farm stand and the location for day trips to the Kaiserstuhl or the Vosges—the swimming lake is right next door... Highly recommended!

A beautiful spot in a small orchard. We were given a very warm welcome and were able to fully enjoy the absolute peace and quiet. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get back to nature!

We really enjoyed our time at Amelie's and were able to position ourselves freely under the fruit trees with two sprinters. Access to the toilet was very easy and very clean. The proximity to the bathing lake was perfect for making the most of the warm day. We didn't need anything else. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
