The hosts were super friendly. It’s a quiet spot until the church bells ring in the morning. The restroom is a bit of a walk away, and the path there isn’t well-lit at night. The food and wine were delicious and reasonably priced. I’d definitely recommend it for a one-night stay.
A very nice campsite in a quiet residential area with a breathtaking view of the Rhine Valley; we felt very comfortable there. Fortunately, the on-site wine tavern was also open, offering great wines and a small selection of food. There are 3 parking spots; since we have a fairly large RV, it was a bit tight, but since everyone was so nice, it didn’t matter. Electricity and water are available for those who need them.
A meadow campsite, very quiet, located in a residential area with its own winery. Excellent value for money. With three bookings, it was definitely too cramped for us (there was no room left to set up a table next to the RV). After the first night with two RVs, it was great. Within walking distance, there are two very tasty and cozy cafes; one of them serves great fresh bread rolls in the morning. Very nice location, adjacent to a large hiking area in the Palatinate Forest or the vineyards. Not suitable for long stays, as there are no waste disposal facilities. Perfectly fine for a short stay. Wine fridge and use of the restrooms are a bonus. We were warmly welcomed and given a tour upon arrival.
A lovely, quiet campsite on the Southern Wine Route, with electricity, water, and restrooms. We really enjoyed it—nothing was missing. The wine fridge was also great; you could buy the hosts’ own wine there for a glass in the evening. Very friendly hosts 👍🏻
Simple place in a beautiful location. We were there for hiking and wine shopping, and it's perfect for that.
Beautiful, quiet parking space on a great meadow. I was there alone and it was ideal. Very quiet and excellent cell phone reception. That was important to me because I was working from there. I didn't use the services because I was self-sufficient. However, electricity and a toilet would have been available. I'd love to come back.
Quiet meadow pitch with electricity and water. Nice hosts and uncomplicated arrival. Toilet can be used above in the Straußenwirtschaft and after 10 pm there is the possibility to use a separate toilet at any time. Good starting point for hiking, delicious food and very good wine in the Straußenwirtschaft.
Nice quiet place with a relaxed host. Everything was just right. In addition to the camper toilet, the sanitary facilities in the Strausswirtschaft could also be used, which was very practical - accessible until 10 pm

At first I couldn't find the entrance (all the way up - walk, don't drive). Called briefly, no problem. I received a very warm welcome and made myself comfortable with a recommended bottle of wine. You stand in front of the house on a small meadow, in the middle of a residential area but with a view.
Very nice contact, you have a beautiful view of the Rhine plain.
Everything went well and without complications
A great place for a fair price. The meadow is surrounded by a few residential buildings, but that didn't really bother us. Simon and his family are very welcoming. The toilets are clean and easily accessible with a short walk. Electricity is available directly at the pitch. Gleisweiler is exceptionally beautiful and without Simon's offer we would probably never have discovered it.
Quiet pitch and Simon was super friendly, toilet was clean and accessible at all times. Nearby you can go MTBing and this will probably not be my last visit :)
Nice and friendly host family. Pitch is located below the farm building and adjoins the residential area. Electricity, water, WC and 24/7 self-service drinks fridge available at the pitch.
Simon gave us a very warm welcome and explained everything. The toilet is very clean and is a little further away, but it doesn't matter at all. It is generally a very quiet and beautiful place, and there is also wine tasting with small snacks. A clear recommendation.

Very nice hosts, pitch as described, great starting point for excursions. Beautiful place, quiet. In the neighboring village Burrweiler small store, not only rolls and bread, a great assortment of cheese and much more.
Very nice hosts, quiet pitch. Ideal starting point for hikes. Delicious food and great wine. Gleisweiler is also a pretty village. I had 2 relaxing days. Many thanks for this.
