A beautiful spot, in a quiet location with a restroom and a solar-powered shower. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
We were satisfied, The stay was great, the campsite was as described, and we felt right at home. However, we’re deducting one star because the yellow trash bag was completely full when we arrived. The toilet cabin is cute, but the wood is really suffering in this weather. The solar shower wasn’t connected. Otherwise, everything was really great—we’d book it again.
An absolutely awesome meadow and a wonderful, friendly host. Bathroom and toilet available. Everything was clean and tidy! The highlight for us and the kids was the campfire and the barrel sauna (which you can book separately) with its stunning views 🥰 Waking up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping 🫶🏻
We felt completely at home. Birgit is such a warm and welcoming host. In the evenings, we had a campfire with bread on a stick (thanks again for the yeast), took a sauna in the barrel sauna... and all of this surrounded by beautiful nature... deer, hares, geese, storks—they were all there. Thank you, Birgit

A very beautiful, almost idyllic place. A small drawback, but not to the hostess' credit: early in the morning it was a little noisy, to our surprise, due to the proximity of the roads. Otherwise, everything was very uncomplicated.
Cordial owner The site has a great view of the fields and is in a quiet location. Everything on site is clearly laid out and tidy, so you can quickly find your way around. The surrounding area is wonderfully scenic. Fellow campers were pleasant - there were more than 3 pitches occupied, but in my case it didn't bother me.

It was great. Standing between the fruit trees, view over the field. Electricity, WC, washbasin and outdoor shower available. We were able to use the sauna barrel. That was an experience. The crackling in the stove, the infusion was simply beautiful. Followed by a refreshing outdoor shower - what more could you want? Birgit's Obstwiese is a dream and she doesn't promise too much in her text. This really is an idyllic spot with perfect access by bike to the Franconian lake district. And the cuckoo, the sheep and the stars are really there. It's wonderfully quiet here and the small washroom with toilet and outdoor shower are perfect. Bread roll service works great and Birgit is super friendly...so come back soon to relax!
We had two very nice days at Birgit's Obstwiese. It was heavenly quiet and you have a fantastic view of nature. From our breakfast spot we were able to watch two hares in the meadow. The beer garden on the island of Gern is also highly recommended. Birgit, thank you for the good tip. We'll definitely be back again!

Highly recommended, super nice owner. Delicious bread rolls in the morning if you want them. Clean toilet in the small wooden house, refreshing garden shower, water, electricity all available. The country road can be heard during the day but is absolutely quiet at night. Fantastically quiet place with hiking and cycling opportunities. We felt very comfortable 😀! Thank you!

A perfect apple orchard meadow in the middle of peaceful countryside. A welcome change from busy campsites. We would have loved to stay longer but the weather is changing and lots of rain when you have a VW camper is not fun!

The campsite is beautifully surrounded by nature and apple trees, and its charm lies in its simplicity. There are great excursion options in the surrounding area, and Birgit gave us lots of tips. Our children really enjoyed their time on the campsite. I was particularly fascinated by the starry sky over Wiesethbruck! Absolutely recommendable.

It was super nice on Birgit's meadow and she is a sociable, lovely hostess. You can easily get to the nearest villages by bike, where there are bakeries etc. and Birgit was able to recommend beautiful bathing opportunities in the surrounding area. Full 5 stars.
The communication with Birgit was good and uncomplicated. We really liked the pitch. If you are looking for peace and seclusion, you are in good hands. The nearest shopping facilities are about 4km away, so bring everything with you ;-) I can definitely recommend the site!
Very nice place between fruit trees, quiet location, WC/washbasin clean. The fireplace is great and Birgit is a really nice hostess, not intrusive but always available for questions and tips!

Spacious orchard with several access points. Shade of all kinds available due to many different sized eastern trees. Long power cord recommended if you want to set up freely on the site with electricity. Small but nice toilet house and a solar shower (outside). Grey water disposal possible but only by hose or tub, as no floor grid available. Nice, friendly and uncomplicated hostess. We felt comfortable. After a very violent nightly thunderstorm we are trozdem very well with our WoMo from the meadow down. Gladly again.
Quiet pitch, very many mosquitoes, probably because of the many waters around. But very friendly hostess....
Super dear hosts, including gifts from their own garden. It is advantageous to be mobile, otherwise pure deceleration🫶.

The idyllic spot between the apple trees has pleased us super well. Birgit has welcomed us very hospitable and always had an open ear for us and time for a little gossip 😊. The highlight for us were definitely the outhouse, the outdoor shower and that we could leave our trash there. With our dogs we also had great opportunities to go for walks 😊
The place is lonely top. Very lovingly furnished with toilet, sink and even a solar outdoor shower. Very very quiet, from dog barking we have not heard anything. It is located directly on the edge of the field and walking distance there is a small swimming area in the Wieseth. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hostess and family are super nice. Birgit always has a few insider tips in store. Quintessence: Absolutely recommendable!!!

It was almost perfect....beautifully located stand with a far view during the day. In the morning and evening mystical fog lay over the meadows. Unfortunately, we needed despite quiet location Ohropax because of the barking dogs in the neighborhood. The hostess is super nice....der Brombachsee was again a nice destination before the trip home.

Here you are expected by a nice hostess. Birgit has many interesting tips about the area around the Altmühl and Brombachsee. Hiking trails, Fahhradwege and also museums are well and quickly accessible from the quiet location. The property, a fruit litter meadow is top maintained and brings, at the current temperatures, also plenty of shade. A shower column is available for use, a blessing. The standing areas are large, it does not hurt to have chocks with you. A small fire pit is set up and a seesaw is also thought for the little ones. Chickens and sheep provide a special soundscape, simply beautiful. In about 700m there is the possibility to swim in the Wieseth, a small sandy access makes it easy to get in and out. There is a bakery in the neighboring village 2km away, it is open MO-SA. Also butter and eggs as well as small things for daily meals can be bought there. We thank you for the beautiful, decelerated time we could experience with nice guests and Birgit. All the best and maybe see you soon, the Krügis

Very nice place with a great view. There are shade trees and sun, depending on what your heart desires. It was especially great that we could let our dog go swimming in the river across the street in the heat. Birgt gave us a very warm welcome. Electricity also worked great. The site is spacious, so at times 6 pitches were occupied (contrary to the stated 3). Thanks for the great time
I was the second time at Birgit's fruit tree meadow and it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. You can do so much in the area, four days have been too little. My dogs and I , we will certainly come again.

It was a super nice place, between the fruit trees and fields. Birgit and her family stopped by in the early evening, which also made us very happy. We were allowed to make a fire at the fire pit to warm ourselves and in the evening a flock of sheep was brought to a field nearby - so sweet and idyllic. A really great stay. The Altmühlsee is not far away either. We will be happy to come back again :)

Beautiful idyllic place. The host family is very nice and helpful! We spent the New Year's Eve weekend here and were completely satisfied. The road is close, but you can hardly hear it and there is very little traffic. Can really only recommend!
Birgit and her family have welcomed us very warmly. We have felt very comfortable. Birgit is a warm, helpful person and the pitch on the orchard, has brought us down quickly from the car ride, it was 2 relaxing days. The hostess and the pitch is the hammer. I was already extremely warmly welcomed and also the rest of the time, Birgit is always there if you have questions or need anything. Very friendly and very accommodating. If you want, there are wonderful organic vegetables, eggs and honey. This is of course a great thing. The pitch itself is beautiful and you are in a sweet garden under fruit trees. Actually, I did not want to leave. Thank you dear Birgit for your very special hospitality. I will definitely come again. For sure. And the other camper colleague, who was also with his camper, it was just like me. From him also a very warm thank you.
We were on the meadow for 4 nights and we liked it very much. We were right next to a walnut tree and have enjoyed the absolute tranquility. Even if all 3 pitches are occupied, there is enough space on the spacious meadow not to be cramped.
We felt very comfortable, very nice hosts, absolute peace, a beautiful pitch under fruit trees and very tasty cider 😋. And nearby a great dog bathing place.... We will definitely come again!
I have spent wonderful days / nights with Birgit in the orchard. An ideal starting point for many ventures in the Altmühltal. Altmühlsee, Dennenlohersee , Hahnenkamm See, Brombachsee to name a few. A visit to the Dennenloherschlosspark will also make young and old a lot of fun. Thank you for letting me be with you Birgit!

It is really as beautiful here as in the pictures - a spacious meadow orchard, surrounded by meadows and fields, wonderfully quiet. Here everyone will find "his" corner to enjoy camping. The ideal location to make shorter or longer tours in the Franconian Lake District. The hostess is very nice, and eggs from free-range chickens can also be purchased. Perfect!
We had a beautiful place between cornfield and fruit trees. The kids loved feeding the chickens at the farm and swimming in the Altmühlsee, a 10-minute drive away. A wonderful region and a wonderfully hospitable and accommodating hostess. Thank you very much, dear Birgit!

Very nice hostess. Beautiful orchard, enough space, easy to drive, access also convenient. Electricity was possible without any problems for an extra charge. On request for a baker Birgit brought us fantastic rolls on Saturday morning. Good recommendations for the surrounding area was also. Would we book again at any time.
