The bio-farm La Porta dei Parchi was created to give value to a mountainous territory in the heart of the protected areas of Abruzzo, a Green Region of Europe, which was already drastically depopulated 50 years ago. Today it offers 20 jobs in a small village of 200 inhabitants and is a model of sustainability, producing vegetable products, cheeses, meats and sausages, processing and marketing directly on the farm. It is educational and social farm and produces, thanks to photovoltaic roofs, all the energy the farm needs. Here you adopt a sheep and take home its products!
