English, German

Hello, we are the Mayer's (farmer & farmer's wife, 2 teenagers and the grandma) and run our farm with heart. An organic suckler cow farm with direct marketing of beef, a permaculture garden and a small forest as a sideline, which is constantly evolving. "The only constant is change". We have a loving "you" attitude, openness with warmth and simplicity as well as a love of and closeness to nature. We ourselves are also passionate campers and remain travelers at heart. We look forward to seeing you!

  • We had a wonderful weekend here, even though we had to set up our awning during a storm. The atmosphere is very relaxed; you can easily walk to the farm store, which is open 24/7, or to the well-stocked village store (though they don’t sell diapers there!). There’s a sandbox, a small playground, and plenty of interesting things to discover in the wonderful vegetable garden. You can also take a walk in the nearby forest—at this time of year, you’ll find delicious blackberries at the end of the farm road. There’s a fire pit, but we didn’t end up using it; to be honest, with small children, it was just too much trouble! We met Andreas, the owner—he’s just as friendly and laid-back as his farm. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the beach, and the path is all downhill. There’s a Greek restaurant there with generous portions and beautiful, turquoise water. We’ll definitely be back.

  • An absolutely fantastic farm with wonderful hosts! The campsite is great, well-maintained, and has a fantastic view. The herb garden and the berries were also amazing. We'd love to come back!

  • If you’re looking to relax, you should definitely stop by Andreas and Kerstin’s place. Right from the start, we were impressed by the lush green meadows, the lovingly maintained, clean farm, the great view, and above all, the warm and friendly Bavarian welcome from our hosts. We were there for a father-son getaway with a rooftop tent: In the nearby forest, we spotted deer; on the farm, the boys got to help feed the cows; in town, we received free lollipops from the owner of the village store; we played soccer at the field by the lake; we rented a pedal boat from the rental shop; and we grilled sausages over a campfire. What more could you ask for? Andreas and Kerstin have created an extraordinary retreat that truly makes you want to come back again. Thank you for the wonderful time!

  • Great hosts! Just wonderful.... We'd love to come back 👋

  • We can only recommend everyone to spend time with Kerstin and Andreas. They run their farm with impressive dedication and passion. From "small" projects on the house, to their own perma garden with a wide variety of fruit and vegetables, to their special affection and care for their cows. If you want to know how high-quality farming is done and also want to enjoy the peace and quiet between fields, forest and lake, this is the right place for you. Thank you very much for taking the time to explain so much to us. Thank you for the delicious vegetables and berries. Thank you for letting us spend a very relaxing weekend with you. Best regards, Stephi & Mirco

  • Everything was as described, just great. You can really relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The communication is perfect and you simply feel at home. Sabine and Günther
