The grounds Axel offers for camping are simply amazing. If you really think about it, staying with him is more like camping with animals. All around, various birds of prey, quails, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, huskies, and fallow deer live in very well-maintained aviaries and enclosures. During the day, beautiful chickens accompanied by their leader, the rooster, also wander past the tents and campers. If you enjoy that sort of thing, it’s pure idyll. It’s also wonderful to see the dedication of Axel and the volunteers. They do their work with passion and heart and soul. My only tiny criticism concerns the restroom facilities. While they were always clean and tidy, there were a few too few of them when there were more guests. I wish Axel and his team continued passion, inventive development, and lovely guests who appreciate this paradise. We recommend Axel 100% and will definitely be back!
A very idyllic spot where everyone can find their perfect spot. The hosts were easygoing, attentive, and friendly, even during our stay. The various animals are a wonderful bonus that helps you unwind. The only downside is that having just one shower and two toilets is a bit minimal for a group of campers, so we occasionally had to wait a bit.
So relaxed and laid-back... It was our first camping trip, and the weather wasn't even that great. But we had a blast. Thanks for that :-)
A lovely campsite, conveniently located near some great hiking trails and with lots of wildlife! Communication, as well as check-in and check-out, was very straightforward.
A wonderful stay and an even more wonderful experience. Axel has created a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and animal lovers. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Even though the bathroom facilities are still a bit rustic, the new cabins are already ready to be set up. For us, this definitely won’t be a one-time experience.

Axel has created a truly beautiful little corner of the world here. We had a wonderful stay in complete tranquility… complete with deer, baby foals, and huskies. Thank you!! We’ll definitely be back.
They were very spontaneous and offered us a free upgrade to a glamping tent due to the weather and ground conditions.
An absolutely fantastic place for outdoor and animal fans! Axel and his family are super friendly and offer lots of great activities at their camp. The location is great and invites you to go on great hikes. Axel really has a paradise for outdoor fans and is constantly expanding it. This was not the last time we were there 👍🏻
We received a friendly welcome and were able to move into our tent after a short wait. Everything was as described. The enclosure is a great place to forget your everyday worries. Depending on the weather, it is advisable to bring suitable footwear 😉 Unfortunately, the bed was very hard and the night was therefore short. But the reindeer make up for almost everything when you drink coffee with them in the morning.
Axel was very easy to reach. The place is wonderful for animal lovers and the surrounding nature is a dream. My son and I had a great time despite the poor weather. There is a climbing park right next door which is also recommended

Axel was a great host, the communication before arrival was informative and friendly. Everything was uncomplicated, even on site. My daughter was immediately enthusiastic about the rabbits and later fed the reindeer with Axel. My favorite part was feeding the birds of prey. There was a campfire in the evening. Simply wonderful, we'll be back
A little bit of Scandinavia in the middle of Germany We wanted to spend my husband's birthday away from home. Axel and his team were hosting Midsommar that weekend. Initially surprising for us, but as Sweden fans it was our little highlight. The children were able to make flower wreaths, get close to the reindeer and rabbits and go on a husky trekking tour. The blueberry forest is also particularly beautiful and we had plenty of fun there - another Swedish moment. Now we'll manage to bridge the next few weeks until we're back in our favorite vacation destination. The hiking trails through the moors are beautiful, but due to the heat, our children and our dog didn't last quite as long. They preferred to return to the cool blueberry forest. Although the team had a lot to do with the preparations for the festival and as organizers, we felt very welcome. Everyone always had an open ear for questions. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place, great hosts, lots of cute animals and great rest, even when it was busy. As soon as the toilets are built, it will be even more comfortable, then you won't have to go over to the youth hostel. We'd love to come back!

We had a really nice night with Axel. The animals are all trusting, but it's also nice that there are places for everyone to retreat to. Everything we needed to feel comfortable was there, from the campfire to the hammock. We will definitely be back! :)

This place is good for you. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. We really enjoyed the space between the many huskies, reindeer, eagles, rabbits & co. Access to water and toilets was very close by and the area is ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
Had a great two days on site. It goes straight into the forest and the animals on site make the whole thing even more interesting.
The pitch, animals, team and hosts were great! We felt a bit like we were in the wilderness here - only safer. It was a great experience to be out and about with the dogs on the "dog scooter" - it's a very nice, small pitch of a very special kind. We were there with the caravan and our son (13 years old) and we really enjoyed it. We definitely want to come back!

A very nice team, we felt very comfortable. You can't get close to reindeer anywhere else. We will be back. Our grandchildren also felt at home.
We spent 2 days with Axel. We and our daughter (10 years old) really enjoyed it. Great dogs and rabbits and all the other animals ☺️
Beautiful large tent in the middle of the reindeer enclosure. A gas stove and a fire bowl + plenty of firewood provide warmth. The reindeer are friendly, not intrusive and especially quiet at night. The whole area is reminiscent of an idyllic mini-Scandinavia. The sanitary facilities in the youth hostel next door are absolutely fine. Communication with Axel was good. Note for those interested: The booking price is not per night, but per person. We can highly recommend Axel's project and offer.
Incredibly beautiful! We were there from Friday to Sunday and had "only" booked the pitch. This alone was simply beautiful. Right next to a large fire pit where we could make a campfire in the evening with the wood provided. There were even sticks for stick bread! We were allowed to lay reindeer skins on the benches, which were super warm, so we could enjoy the evening. Axel even gave us tips on how to get the fire going more quickly. The large area was surrounded by several aviaries, which were home to various birds of prey. There was also a large outdoor enclosure where you could watch and stroke rabbits. Then it was on to the best part for me: Reindeer watching! We were even allowed to feed and stroke them and I am still blown away by how beautiful it was. On Sunday, we were even allowed to hold a buzzard in our arms, even though we weren't actually "adventure weekend guests". Everyone made us feel so welcome and we wanted for nothing! The sanitary facilities were clean, there was even a washing machine and dryer, there was a small lounge with an oven and kettle and there was seating everywhere. What more could you want? The only thing that could possibly bother you, but which didn't bother us, is that the huskies bark and howl in a pack from time to time at night when a fox or similar approaches. This was the case twice for us, but it makes you feel like you're in the wild ;-) There is also no shade on the pitch, which was a huge advantage in March. I'll definitely be back! It was simply incredible! From the first to the last minute, we were thrilled by the unique experiences we were offered here. Petting and feeding the reindeer was simply a magical experience for us. It will remain an unforgettable moment! Another adventure that we will certainly not forget and that we absolutely have to mention was the husky sleigh ride! It was a dream to glide through the beautiful landscape with these powerful and loving dogs. The feeling of the wind in your face and the excitement of being pulled by the huskies was simply indescribable. We would also like to make special mention of our host Axel. He was extremely nice, attentive and very accommodating. His hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable and we always felt welcome. Another highlight was watching the majestic eagles up close. Another absolute highlight for our daughter was petting and feeding the cute rabbits and guinea pigs. They were so trusting and took her heart by storm! All in all, our stay was a unique experience that we can only recommend to everyone! The perfect combination of animal interaction and exciting adventures makes this campsite a very special place.
This campsite is exceptional and recommendable in every respect. We had a great adventure weekend surrounded by huskies, reindeer and birds of prey. In consultation with Axel, we were able to freely choose our pitch on a large meadow; there are several nice places to sit. The pitch is ideal for active vacations in nature, as a starting point for hikes and MTB tours. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!
