The description is spot on—it’s a lovely, overgrown garden in a beautiful and quiet area. A long path along the Schlaubetal valley is perfect for walking or biking. Sina is a wonderful host who made our stay very pleasant with lots of suggestions and her friendly and open manner. The toilet (composting) in a former phone booth takes some getting used to, but it’s also very unique.
Sina is a very thoughtful hostess. She took great care so that we could have a good stay. Many thanks for that!
Living in a fragrant meadow in beautiful surroundings. Toilet very rustic, but works. Extremely nice hostess with lots of helpful tips. We had a great time!
The area is as described great for hiking, biking, swimming and discovering flora and fauna. The hostess was absent, but had me on the day of arrival via WhatsApp very friendly with many excursion tips. The property itself was unfortunately not at all suitable for my multi-day vacation (woman traveling alone, mid-50s). Before booking, I had asked the wrong questions, because as a gardener I had completely different, more romantic ideas based on the description and the title "overgrown garden". After a few hours stay, I moved on. The money is gone. The garden fence unfortunately separates not only from the canal, but also from the narrow paved village street (which I thought was a footpath in the photo). During the day, cars regularly drive past directly at the fence, as well as on the other side of the property behind the house - with corresponding background noise! It is not a water property and you can not even near the property to refresh in the water! On the side to the neighbors grow shrubs or conifers and on the street the lime trees visible in the photo, but in the midday heat I found no shade for my bus and me. There are no secluded corners for reading or dreaming, the complete camping meadow is visible from the road! Who knows this in advance, experiences no disappointment and finds a nice place to stay in the village with a view into the greenery. The location directly on the canal bike path is ideal for tours in all directions. It is not far by bike to the beautiful swimming lake. And with several together it can be quite cozy in the evening in the sitting area with fireplace certainly.
A very nice contact with the hostess Sina. Per Waths up and by phone all desired information received. Who almost self-sufficient would like to get out, even for a weekend, this place fits well. Bicycles are of advantage to drive the quiet, wooded and watery area relaxed.
we spent a weekend in the garden of sina and her family. the hosts themselves were unfortunately not there, but provided us with many great tips. cozy garden, the landscape of the surrounding area beautiful. very recommendable is a trip to the katjasee (walking distance, about 40 min), also the wildpark frankfurt is very nice with children. we felt very comfortable, thank you very much!
Nice short stay
We had a wonderful stay here! We were very pleased that we were allowed to meet Sina shortly before the birth of her baby yet and she could show us the insanely beautiful beach at Katjasee yet - since we would have otherwise never Sina and her 3 boys are ne great, young family! The site was great, wild, romantic, with festival flair, just cozy 😊! The Klöchen is getting used to, but for a few days quite enough 😅! We were fully satisfied 💕

The uncomplicated and friendly atmosphere in the wild garden as well as excursions to the surrounding lakes, through forest and meadow landscape, did not make our time long. We will be very happy to come again.
We have spent two super days and of course nights in this wild romantic garden. Sina is a great hostess and provided us with many good tips for excursions. The garden is located in a wonderful landscape in which there is much to see. We found the telephone booth very original. We will definitely come back one day.
It was just terrific!!! Sina and Tuncay are super nice hosts, we have spent wonderful days on the garden meadow behind the house and evenings around the campfire here. Sina gave us great tips for trips in the area. The landscape of the Schlaubetal is wonderful, lots of water and idyllic, hilly forests. We will definitely be back!!!
We have only super good feedback to give! We both had spontaneous vacation and by the situation with Corona, we actually had no great hopes whether we even find something suitable, which is also affordable. But no problem at all. Half an hour after we had sent our first requests, we immediately received a callback about the accommodations. It all went very quickly and totally uncomplicated and we had our small but fine journey in the bag. The stay itself was a dream. Great area to explore while walking, hiking and biking. The accommodation itself was super for our purposes! The toilet takes a little getting used to, but that was the only exception. Sina is a very great young woman, super sweet, easy going and funny. We liked it very much! In the area there are some great lakes in the area, which are super by bike, but also good to reach on foot or just by car. We also started the tour with the canoe. Even in the rental the people were super fun and hospitable. The tour itself was picture perfect, simply brilliant! We recommend since this vacation everyone to camp in the backcountry :) The concept is great! There is something for everyone. We will definitely aim for such a trip again and look forward to it very much!
