Unfortunately, Mascha and Jano were rather unpleasant guests. Jano was very snotty and unfriendly right from the start. The compost toilet, which was supposedly not clean, simply had a full bin. This is quite normal and was not surprising given the number of children present. In fact, the children playing seemed to be a real problem for them. Jano also demanded that we find a solution for his forgotten camping table. The borrowed pallet was never returned, but simply left lying around. The complaints about ticks and mice when camping in a paddock also leave me perplexed. The place was self-selected, the paddock is 2 hours long. The next morning they didn't say hello but simply left. I think it's a shame for you that you had such a bad time in such a beautiful place, surrounded by nice people. For us, I think it's a shame that we had to have our first negative experience at Hinterland. Save travels.
Mascha and Jano had virtually "fled" to us from another hinterland campsite. We were happy to be your hosts, because you were really super nice and friendly, communicative guests, just as one would wish for. A clear recommendation and we would be happy to stay with you again at any time.
