Having been lovingly built up as a family business for over 20 years, the Farbenkinderhof is a great vacation destination for young and old. 305 meters above the Saale valley, the family inspires many guests' hearts with their friendliness and their work.

Everyone was super friendly, everything was clean, the pitch was ok and big enough. People came by the site every day to see the horses. But I didn't find that annoying. Communication in advance: Awful. Asked after booking if data is needed. Nobody answers via the app, nobody answers the phone. WA was answered a few days later. Asked a few days in advance about time slot for arrival: no answer. Just driving there works. If you know, then ok. Otherwise, as I said, everything was ok
The Farbenkinderhof offers two pitches in the middle of an extensive riding stables. Getting there is a bit of a challenge, as the farm is a lot higher than the village, so the vehicle should be able to cope with the inclines. Once you've arrived, you won't miss anything, only the gastronomic offerings at the surrounding excursion destinations could be better. We can definitely recommend a stay here.
We were here for 2 days with 4 children. It was a dream! There is plenty of space, a playground, top sanitary facilities in the main house, electricity at the pitch and lots of nature and peace! The children were allowed to ride horses for a fair price and were more than thrilled! There are donkeys, several cats, 40 horses and ponies, cows and all the people were more than friendly! We would love to come back!
Everything was great! We had a short but lovely stay! Lots of cats to pet😊 The hosts were very nice!

It was ne narrow driveway but we made it, a nice pitch, sanitary facilities just nearby and our daughter was also allowed to ride and muck out. Very nice landlords 👍🏻
Hach, what a nice stay we had at the Farbenkinderhof! We have been there with our VW Bulli & our little son. The two pitches are located between the beautiful farmhouse & the edge of the forest. We were the only guests during our stay, what a wonderful peace in the middle of nature! Only the neighing of the horses, the sounds of the donkey or the cow were heard. Some kittens came every now and then to the by to see who visits them here. The dear four-legged friends found of course especially our son great! Everyone who works on the farm was super nice to us, showed us how the horses are fed & cleaned & we were even allowed to feed a horse ourselves. The washrooms were great & there was even electricity & water for us. We can absolutely recommend this spot & would love to come back!
It's just beautiful here 🤩... the absolutely quiet farm offers the possibility of absolute rest and relaxation but also the possibility to experience new things . So riding lessons and contact with the animals are no problem . We have felt very very comfortable . The owners as well as the staff are all very friendly and you feel immediately welcome and at home. We will definitely go there again. Thank you very much for this wonderful time. Ralf and Nadine
